Whether or not the Haslab funds, Hasbro really needs to invest in larger figures in the 12"-16" range like you pointed out. If they made a 12" base buck, they could reuse that for characters like Goliath (both Pym and Foster), Ultimo, Atlas, Frost Giants/Laufey, even Living Tribunal. Characters like this are too big for a BAF, but not large or popular enough for a Haslab. So are they just not going to do them then?
Before, I always included the msrp value of the tier figures in the base price to determine the overall value of the haslab and I think many others had as well. So in a way I self acknowledged that the figures were part of the base price. The only time I heard mention that it was incorrect to think that way was when other TH-camrs started campaigning heavily against the EOV. It never really becomes an issue unless the tiers don’t get unlocked and then you would have to reassess whether you still saw the value in it. I never thought it was a secret to begin with, you could tell the figures were being amortized as part of the base price. So yea it’s all based on interpretation I suppose.

All we needed was a remake of the toybiz one, just a little bigger, with simple swappable face plates like they did with galactus and modok. Add in the wasp and yellow jacket for 200$, and we have a perfect package. It would have ticked all the boxes, and you could have the skrull head and a 6 inch giant man as additional tiers. That’d get over 15k orders for sure. I still need a giant man in my collection, so a retail version would be great if this campaign fails.
It's NOT "figure Fatigue". It's PRICE FATIGUE. They want more and more for less and less. Everything is more expensive, and TOYS aren't a priority. They want $200+ for a 2 up. A smaller $50 figure for Hank,Bill,or Erik is the way to go.

It means Bill Foster Goliath, Clint Barton Goliath, Atlas, modern Giant-Man, etc. That's potentially far more money than 10,000 one-time orders of $200.
Another great one XManny. I think the 12” Marvel Legends were $60 if I remember correctly. I only bought the Spider-Man and black Suit Spider-Man but I am pretty sure I paid $60 but maybe I’m including taxes and rounded up in my head.

If you noticed giantman has gained 300 backers i think after they revealed wasp i think if they revealed retail figures like wasp, pymtron, yellowjacket , maybe a 12 inch goliath (( pym or fostor)) but hasbro couldve revealed like a figure every other week for this haslab to get people excited about it

The Hasbro MK team needs to discover common sense, shelf their enormous egos, and do a poll and ask the fans what they want for Haslabs. EoV was a disaster and Giant Man, with exactly 4 days left, needs 876 orders per day while it's barely averaging 100. It will almost certainly fail.

Didn't they extend the EOV campaign so they can get more backers? you know, we have been getting less and less accessories with the Marvel Legends figures over the last couple years, being replaced with the vintage packaging that i dont really care about. The packaging looks nice but not at the expense of fading out BAF parts and accessories. Prices have been going up on these figures too, i dont see the reward of spending almost 30$ for basic vintage packaging figure. Maybe they should get back to the drawing board and figure something out.
I bought the haslab Galactus and it takes up three shelve spots. I love it and use it as a centerpiece. But yeah, it’s too big. The set up towards the end of this video looks great, Antman looks big, but it can fit on a bookshelf or detolf. I hope this funds for those who want it. It does look fun.
Anyone who believes that we should "always " pay full price for a line prospering as Classified is not think straight. This is Hasbros' second round of cashing in on a line that has been very successful for them for generations...and we suffer what we as collectors always suffer paying more a receiving less. The difference now is they have multiple ways cut costs or "reasons" to charge more. They do what they do so it's only right for use to respond in kind.
12" Giant Man using that 12" Spidey buck would be perfect for a standard display shelf. I agree that $200 for the Haslab is good value but I'm not backing it because I really wouldn't know how to display it. I'm not running a museum after all.

I hear your growing frustration when you say this was the worst year for legends…… but then I look at your avengers display. We obviously have most of the heavy hitters, so it’s hard to grow excitement. (Classifieds is the first time we are getting 6inch figures so it’s all new) This is where we are at. As long as they continue to complete teams, I will be happy.
I like my Toybiz BAF. I have most Giant Man offerings. Missed out on the red/blue/yellow one in Marvel Universe line. I was enamored with the Frost Giants even with their horrible knees. I kick myself also skipping on those Sentinels. I have five Toybiz BAFs so I wasn’t clamoring for it. I want it now. Mainly due to wanting a Sentinel around Toybiz GM BAF size. Toybiz GM is tiny next to Haslab Sentinel. I’m cautiously optimistic. But I too will be bummed out if it doesn’t make. Rancor depressed me. It’s failure had me upside down. That sucked. GM failure would be a big wind out of sail for me too.
Hasbro Pulse Singapore wants to charge $339 SGD for the Haslab Giant Man and another mandatory $59 for shipping. That's almost USD $300. Just more silly business decisions by Hasbro.
It is a good figure at a fair price and I believe it will fund. I will not buy it because of space and money but I agree with you, I would go down with a scaled down giant man.

I want Hasbro to put paywall mainline figures behind the main lab offering. It not only gets people on the fence but it gets people off it and opening their wallets. Hasbro is simply robbing us of cut DLC and labeling it as being a "privilege" to purchase it on down the line. This should have been $250 with 3 heads, 3 eyes, and T1 classic yellow jacket with head and T2 classic Wasp with head. 10k-12k-14k it would have funded in the first week and we'd of just ignored all the thousands of youtube videos complaining about paywall Wasp. I'm going to blame it both on Hasbro and a small minority of entitled collectors.
