Disclaimer: I am not being judgy to anyone but the Skrull Giant head tier should have been the 12,000 head unlocked because I do think Secret Invasion is a little bit more.......crazy entertainable story then Marvels Zombies to be honest.
It’s just personal preference. I honestly LOVED the original zombies run and wanted the zombie head more, even though I did like Secret Invasion too. Just not as much. It sucks though that this isn’t the head from the comics zombies run but instead, some attempt to make it work with the MCU animated show so I do actually agree that it should have been the second tier instead of the first one.
I'm so happy that I can now add a new Giant-Man to my Marvel Legends collection. I always regretted getting rid of my Toy Biz Giant-Man years ago and now I can rest easy knowing that not only will I have a definitive classic Giant-Man in my Avengers roster, but knowing that I am one out of 13,889 people with an insanely rare piece in my collection, makes it that much sweeter. Looking forward to classic Wasp and hope they reveal a classic Yellow-Jacket soon. Still have my fingers crossed for a Lab Coat Hank Pym and Ultron Mark 1 box set.
I miss when the figures had shading. I funded it but feel ripped off by the last tier and still baffled the numbers jumper up like and crazy and stopped with 111 backers to go seemed strange
I'm so freaking excited for this figure! I'm a HUGE Hank Pym fan too! I was so frustrated when people were saying "he's just a b or c level character. Some people don't know who he is!" That's just crazy to me!
I'm so excited for this figure, especially for the price. I don't even care about the tiers because I rather have the Giant Man instead. I like to see more classic marvel legends. Like Falcon, Yellowjacket and so on. Keep up the great video!!

I hate that they told the customers we baked potential tiers of the EoV into the end price whether they unlocked or not but since they failed they took figures away as tiers in this one. This shouldn't have been a haslab, theres $200 giant transformers on hasbro pulse as we speak
I said the same thing to myself this could have been a regular release on Hasbro pulse or Amazon or any of the other online retailers but they choose the crowdfunding route to release a $200 figure. If McFarlane wanted to do a giant figure he just do it without crowdfunding and release it as an online release, because nothing is stopping him from doing it. Also the figure itself didn't need all those face plates they could have just made the figure for around $150.
If you take in to consideration that it was 200 for the figure and everything that came with it (tiers aren’t free) true it funded.. but they’re making you pay 200 for the total package and you’re not getting everything that comes with it..
I mean people are paying a hundo for import 6 inch figures, this thing is only twice that and you get so so much more, and it’s gonna be one of like 15k forever, gonna be standout in your collection!

During New York Comic Con, they mentioned that the price includes the base figure and the tiers. We paid for the figure and the tiers. If Legends Haslabs continue, no more tiers. A preorder for Hot Toys goes up and not enough units are sold, do they take away an accessory? The only reason they do tiers is to maximize profits. Which, of course they’re a corporation and that’s what they do. But we paid for Giant Man and all the accessories. Tiers included.
I remember on Reddit when it did fund and I posted a “iT’lL nEvER fUnD” with the announcement that he funded And I was fighting with someone because he said that he’s not needed and was mad that I said giant man was an a-lister I lowkey wish they would redo EoV at a better price like $250, id even consider it at that much

Manny, I'm so stoked to be getting this awesome Giant Man! I wasn't going to get it because of being low on funds this week and wasn't sure about having room for it. Monday afternoon I changed my mind and I'm so glad I did because I'm a total mark for classic comic figures. I too think they should throw in the Skrull head but they probably won't. I can see them saying "If we gave it to you without hitting the unlock amount then we'll be expected to give things out in the future because of something being close but under the minimums".

There's just about nothing more they could have done to make this figure better. They made each different type of material on his costume of different texture, gave him all a panapse you could ask for, all they articulation and then some, multiple facial expressions, and even a zombie and hopefully skrull head. And on top of all that it's very reasonably priced, despite what some people say. The only detractions for this figure is that it seems like you can't look up a lot and his smiling head is a little crazy, and some people complain that he didn't have extra figures as bonus tiers but to me that's a positive. That means those figures are going to get released at retail where everybody can buy them and they won't be locked behind a $200 or $300 paywall
The head articulation is an L, and the fact they said they might add that ugly ass cut into the back of the neck… idk man for 200$ I think they should know how to engineer figures
The only honest reason why I didn't back is because I don't have enough room for Giant Man in my Avengers collection but I am.... very happy to have a Ant Man figure from Hasbro and congrats to everyone who did back it which I agree on how amazing he looks

It would be a nice gesture of good measure on HASBRO’s part to throw in the SKRULL head. I think they should. Because I personally don’t want the zombie face plate. Zombies are lame and useless in my opinion. The SKRULL head is far more desirable and useful.
Id go all in for Fing Fang Foom as a Iron Man fan, his biggest(In a Literal sense) Villain is a MUST have. But I supported this Giant Man Haslab to truly have the ability to complete the Avengers lineup, Hank is a founding member and my 2nd favorite Avenger as well(All credit for my love for him goes to Earths Mightiest Heroes), It just wouldnt be a Avengers display without him for me.
Hasbro is saving a ton of money by not giving the head (pause). They would rather not have sales of 111 more figures which is just $20k than make that Skrull head for 14k figures which would be around $350k of additional cost if the head is valued at around $25.
Tbh it was the fomo AND THE WASP FIGURE like after wasp got revealed i think she boosted like 2000 backers on giantman then fomo struck which got the rest and the zombie head also can you make a video about your dream gamerverse wave for spiderman from the og game to miles to the new game or just dream figures in general the games doesnt have to be a wave

I will have a reason to finish my classic avengers team and a reason to buy more ant man characters, and if that zombie head can work at all with the og diamond select zombie figures I have then I'm extra happy bc I'll have a place to put it until I finish the avengers team. All I'm missing is hulk, thor, strange and the maximoff twins. I also wanna get a gray original iron man and paint it gold. I do have some 3 and a quarter inch classic avengers in the packaging, but I might bust em out for the hell of it and make giant man even bigger looking lmfao
Tri-Spider Slayer would be my pick. A Daily Bugle is a diorama, and dioramas are cool, but not as cool as combining arachnid robots. Plus they could use the Transformers team to help in the design.
Apocalypse would easily entice collectors being an X-Men villain at that. Fin Fang Foom is also a favorite. It would be interesting what Hasbro can do with it as a haslab. As for the Giant Man buck, it would be interesting to see it retooled as its MCU counterpart.
I didn't hate on this one but I also wasn't able to go in on it either. I had way to many GI Joe, Transformers and MOTU figures ship out all at once this last four weeks (stuff that had been ordered over the last 7 months all arriving at once, crazy) so sadly I didn't have enough extra cash to order Giant-man. Here in Canada this guy was going to be over $350 with the shipping, our exchange rate is shit right now. Just buying all the regular figures I do puts a strain on the wallet, a normal Joe or Marvel figure here is $35 before tax. It's getting pretty crazy honestly. On top of that I had zero interest in any of the stretch goals either so unfortunately I had to opt out of spending the extra cash this time around. If they ever offer a 12 to 15 inch one down the road I'll just have to settle for that.
I haven't backed him bur I was cheering for it to be backed, a friend of mine. Wanted him badly and I try to always be supportive. I do want a giantman in my collection but this one is too big , I would like a deluxe release of him for who didn't back the haslab or who want a smaller one to make a shrinking effect
I am excited for this especially for the next year and what they will offer us for classic avengers . They have already announced the wasp so couldn’t be happier

Numbers were fudged at end. They could’ve fudged them a little more to throw in skrull head. I backed this. But I felt like they never really had their heart in it. And felt like it wasn’t really backed or promoted as much as it should lve been. Lots of little things that irked me. Really their unveiling with their trolling shirts out a bad taste in my mouth. I'm glad it funded and I'm happy that you're excited about the figure. I am, too! I've backed it after examining the options and your take on the old Toy Biz figure actually inspired me to take the plunge. Other than that one, there are a couple other Giant-Men floating around out there I could have snagged. But, there were a couple issues. The first being I was iffy about some people selling the SDCC one on ebay. One guy was selling from Singapore. And it is a little old, too. The Marvel Universe one doesn't really have a look I like. So, I went with the classic look. I've liked that look for Giant-Man and I once had a few parts for the old BAF. So, I thought to myself, this would be the best way to go since I wasn't really feeling the Toy Biz one. Thanks for helping me figure things out!
I disagree about the EoV, I wanted it. I'm actually okay that it didn't fund, I'm more unhappy that fans actually campaigned against it. But it didn't make it so it doesn't matter at this point.
Don’t get me wrong, I wanted it too but not at that price and how poorly mismanaged that was. If it was $200 then I would’ve been fine with that for having 4 figures, the car and all it’s accessories.
I did mention Dan on another TH-cam channel when he asked what does everyone thinks is going to be the next Haslab? Everyone mentioned different names like FFF,danger room, Q jet, and so on, he would say something, I mentioned Apocalypse,with the 4 horsemen, he just nodded his head yes on that one.🤔🤔🤔🤔
I was really torn on whether I wanted this one to fund. On one hand, I'm fine with the idea that Hasbro just kills crowdfund entirely, and to do that, they'd need to fail more Haslabs across brands than succeed. Multi-billion dollar corporations shouldn't resort to crowdfund. On the other hand, I like the ML line. And this is a good value Haslab. The team obviously took their lessons with EoV very seriously and adjusted according to what collectors wanted. So for it to fail would definitely send more wrong messages. Sometimes, when you dislike a company doing something, but they at least move in the right direction, you want them to be rewarded, or else there's no incentive for them to do what consumers want period. Pretty torn, but either way I wasn't going to back it, due to not really into the figure. Glad that it was a success, so people who were really wanting it will get it.
I bought one. I am upset that I need to wait a year for it. Idk why this had to be a haslab. Plenty of companies release huge large articulated figures with a lot of detail without having to crowdfund for it. I also wish it came with more accessories. Overall, i feel like haslab is a really bad experience. I do like the giant man, I just hate the way that Hasbro chooses to push it it to market. I wasn’t as excited for this as I was for Galactus. Even though Galactus was expensive, it came with so much that made it worth it. I also think it’s shitty that we’re not gonna get the skrull head. It’s like they hold this cool looking figure over our head and we’re punished if we don’t all guarantee them $2.8M.

I backed it for two. I really wanted the Skrull head but I'm still happy. For those that didn't want it, as long as you didn't back it, you won't have to have it. For those that wanted this, I'm happy and excited for/with you. Hopefully things can start to turn around now, the negativity has been awful. Perhaps the Marvel team will surprise us on the 27th. The final numbers aren't fully accounted for yet. Maybe they're discussing it. I won't cancel my second though.
The Toy Biz Giant Man was more than the Haslab, and as far as the zombie face sculpt, they could put out a comic zombie wave or boxed set. If they did that, ill be extra happy for not canceling my second Giant Man.

I’m stoked to get this and I did back two but Hasbro should really consider giving the Skrull head as a show of good faith to the community as the pst few years have shown they don’t care about the consumers with how they’re increasing prices and lowering the amount of accessories.

It's consumers vs corporations, not consumers vs consumers. Even if some of the haters are doing it the wrong way (unconstructive, emotion-driven, etc.), they're still needed to keep corporations in check. Id go all in for Fing Fang Foom as a Iron Man fan, his biggest(In a Literal sense) Villain is a MUST have. But I supported this Giant Man Haslab to truly have the ability to complete the Avengers lineup, Hank is a founding member and my 2nd favorite Avenger as well(All credit for my love for him goes to Earths Mightiest Heroes), It just wouldnt be a Avengers display without him for me.

Hasbro is saving a ton of money by not giving the head (pause). They would rather not have sales of 111 more figures which is just $20k than make that Skrull head for 14k figures which would be around $350k of additional cost if the head is valued at around $25.
Tbh it was the fomo AND THE WASP FIGURE like after wasp got revealed i think she boosted like 2000 backers on giantman then fomo struck which got the rest and the zombie head also can you make a video about your dream gamerverse wave for spiderman from the og game to miles to the new game or just dream figures in general the games doesnt have to be a wave
I'm happy. I will have a reason to finish my classic avengers team and a reason to buy more ant man characters, and if that zombie head can work at all with the og diamond select zombie figures I have then I'm extra happy bc I'll have a place to put it until I finish the avengers team. All I'm missing is hulk, thor, strange and the maximoff twins. I also wanna get a gray original iron man and paint it gold. I do have some 3 and a quarter inch classic avengers in the packaging, but I might bust em out for the hell of it and make giant man even bigger looking lmfao
Tri-Spider Slayer would be my pick. A Daily Bugle is a diorama, and dioramas are cool, but not as cool as combining arachnid robots. Plus they could use the Transformers team to help in the design.
Apocalypse would easily entice collectors being an X-Men villain at that. Fin Fang Foom is also a favorite. It would be interesting what Hasbro can do with it as a haslab. As for the Giant Man buck, it would be interesting to see it retooled as its MCU counterpart.

I didn't hate on this one but I also wasn't able to go in on it either. I had way to many GI Joe, Transformers and MOTU figures ship out all at once this last four weeks (stuff that had been ordered over the last 7 months all arriving at once, crazy) so sadly I didn't have enough extra cash to order Giant-man. Here in Canada this guy was going to be over $350 with the shipping, our exchange rate is shit right now. Just buying all the regular figures I do puts a strain on the wallet, a normal Joe or Marvel figure here is $35 before tax. It's getting pretty crazy honestly. On top of that I had zero interest in any of the stretch goals either so unfortunately I had to opt out of spending the extra cash this time around. If they ever offer a 12 to 15 inch one down the road I'll just have to settle for that.
I haven't backed him bur I was cheering for it to be backed, a friend of mine. Wanted him badly and I try to always be supportive. I do want a giantman in my collection but this one is too big , I would like a deluxe release of him for who didn't back the haslab or who want a smaller one to make a shrinking effect
I am excited for this especially for the next year and what they will offer us for classic avengers . They have already announced the wasp so couldn’t be happier

Numbers were fudged at end. They could’ve fudged them a little more to throw in skrull head. I backed this. But I felt like they never really had their heart in it. And felt like it wasn’t really backed or promoted as much as it should lve been. Lots of little things that irked me. Really their unveiling with their trolling shirts out a bad taste in my mouth. All they focuses on was it was the cheapest haslab yet. Well with tax and shipping. Still a lot. Eh. Idk. Sure I’ll get some wise ass remark to this.

I'm glad it funded and I'm happy that you're excited about the figure. I am, too! I've backed it after examining the options and your take on the old Toy Biz figure actually inspired me to take the plunge. Other than that one, there are a couple other Giant-Men floating around out there I could have snagged. But, there were a couple issues. The first being I was iffy about some people selling the SDCC one on ebay. One guy was selling from Singapore. And it is a little old, too. The Marvel Universe one doesn't really have a look I like. So, I went with the classic look. I've liked that look for Giant-Man and I once had a few parts for the old BAF. So, I thought to myself, this would be the best way to go since I wasn't really feeling the Toy Biz one. Thanks for helping me figure things out!
I disagree about the EoV, I wanted it. I'm actually okay that it didn't fund, I'm more unhappy that fans actually campaigned against it. But it didn't make it so it doesn't matter at this point.
Don’t get me wrong, I wanted it too but not at that price and how poorly mismanaged that was. If it was $200 then I would’ve been fine with that for having 4 figures, the car and all it’s accessories.

I was really torn on whether I wanted this one to fund.
On one hand, I'm fine with the idea that Hasbro just kills crowdfund entirely, and to do that, they'd need to fail more Haslabs across brands than succeed. Multi-billion dollar corporations shouldn't resort to crowdfund.
On the other hand, I like the ML line. And this is a good value Haslab. The team obviously took their lessons with EoV very seriously and adjusted according to what collectors wanted. So for it to fail would definitely send more wrong messages. Sometimes, when you dislike a company doing something, but they at least move in the right direction, you want them to be rewarded, or else there's no incentive for them to do what consumers want period.
Pretty torn, but either way I wasn't going to back it, due to not really into the figure.
Glad that it was a success, so people who were really wanting it will get it.
I bought one. I am upset that I need to wait a year for it. Idk why this had to be a haslab. Plenty of companies release huge large articulated figures with a lot of detail without having to crowdfund for it. I also wish it came with more accessories.
Overall, i feel like haslab is a really bad experience. I do like the giant man, I just hate the way that Hasbro chooses to push it it to market. I wasn’t as excited for this as I was for Galactus. Even though Galactus was expensive, it came with so much that made it worth it. I also think it’s shitty that we’re not gonna get the skrull head. It’s like they hold this cool looking figure over our head and we’re punished if we don’t all guarantee them $2.8M.

I backed it for two. I really wanted the Skrull head but I'm still happy. For those that didn't want it, as long as you didn't back it, you won't have to have it. For those that wanted this, I'm happy and excited for/with you. Hopefully things can start to turn around now, the negativity has been awful. Perhaps the Marvel team will surprise us on the 27th. The final numbers aren't fully accounted for yet. Maybe they're discussing it. I won't cancel my second though.
The Toy Biz Giant Man was more than the Haslab, and as far as the zombie face sculpt, they could put out a comic zombie wave or boxed set. If they did that, ill be extra happy for not canceling my second Giant Man.

I do buy ML, it's my main line. in fact I buy a lot of Hasbro products. Some Lightning Collection (mostly monsters), a tiny bit of BS (the line is going to crap), and a lot of the Fortnite figures (they're awesome; RIP).
