I went from 12 Pro Max, 13 Pro, and 14 Pro. Ended up returning the 14 Pro after a week or so as I wasn’t really a fan of the island. Ending up going with the Green 13 Mini after seeing it in the Apple Store. It’s been about four months and it’s easily my favorite iPhone since the iPhone 5. I really hope Apple brings back the Mini with the 15 lineup.

I bought the iPhone 13 (Mini) a few days ago. It feels just right in the hand! I had the iPhone 11 previously, since it's launch in 2019. So, going with the Mini was a drastic change.

@@JSLReview Done the same one week ago, traded one year old 13 pro max for 13 mini new. Honestly saying for an average user Mini is more than enough, I was in doubt about refresh rate, but its so minor thing now, you will stop notice it in a few days, battery life of course is significant difference with 13 pro max, but since I have a charger in my office all the time its not an issue at all! The form factor of mini kills it all! Brilliant phone for its price!
Did the same thing back in May of last year! Had the 13 Pro Max since it’s release, and just thought it was too heavy and didn’t utilize the pro features. The 13 mini took a few days to adjust to, but once I did, I never looked back! Also often makes people ask “what kind of iPhone is that??” Solid choice! 😁

I got the 13 mini last month. I was moving on from the 8 I’d had for quite some time (bought new about 4 years prior). I love it. Took some time to get used to the bigger screen, but I’m quite happy with it now. If Apple ever makes a mini phone again, I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

I'm in the same situation! I've had an iPhone 7 for the last 4 years and wanted to upgrade but don't like the large size of the newer phones. The 13 mini seems like a great compromise!
I got myself an iPhone 13 mini over a year ago after I got one for my wife on launch because I liked it so much. The phone is great, size is perfect even with the Otterbox defender case on it. It takes brilliant phones, perfect for everyday use as a tradesman. I can type one handed whilst doing something else on the job if needed. The only thing that I have found is that the odd website seams that isn’t optimised for the mini, drop down menus don’t display correctly or in full.
just switched to a 13 mini after using a 13 pro for a year & i couldn’t be happier. the mini is the perfect size, and so comfortable to hold. i do miss promotion, and the 3x zoom, but otherwise the 13 mini is a perfect phone.
Got my 13 mini in June after getting my first iPhone ever in January 2022, the regular 13. I went for the mini after holding my wife’s 12 mini a few times. It felt so light and good in the hand. No regrets. I can hold the 13 mini for hours in the hand without any problems of fatigue, it’s fast, camera is great, battery life is good for my use. I’m going to hold on to this one for a long time, hoping Apple will bring back a new mini or use this models for a new SE 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I just got 13 Mini yesterday!! I had iPhone 11 since 2019 and ohhhh man I freakin love the 13 Mini. The form factor, efficient performance, super crisp display, I love it. I can’t wait to spend the next 4 years or so with it.

Bought the 13 mini at the end of last year. I always upgrade phones every two years, but until another mini comes out, I will be rocking this. For years to come if need be.
Switched from Android Feb 22 to 13 mini red w 256g. Love it. Size is perfect. Fits in pockets, and still enough screen size to meet my needs. Performance is great and battery life has been more than adequate. Apple made several internal improvements over the 12.

I bought mine in April 2022 and i couldn't be happier with it. The battery lasts long enough (i end up with around 30% at the end of the day and), it's fast, never gets hot, never lags or anything and the camera/display quality is astonishing, plus the size is just perfect, i've never found it small or anything
I’ve had the 13 mini for almost a year and it’s great. Screen is the perfect size, especially coming from the iPhone 7. It’s great for traveling so I’m hoping they bring the mini back once it’s time for me to upgrade

I agree with your review, iPhone 13 mini is real innovation because it cramps the improvement, quality in a form factor that is comfortable to use with one hand. Other models are basically adjusting on size to allow room for improvement.

I use this as my work phone and I think That's what makes it so convenient for me. If you have two phones I couldn't imagine myself carrying the pixel 7 pro and also having a pro or pro Max size iPhone at the same time.

I am owner of 13 mini. I wish we could see one in sept 2023 with the upcoming battery champion chip. What could have been is perfection.
I had a starlight 13 mini since launch. Used a 13 Pro as well during that time, but always went back to the mini and it’s size. I ended up passing down my 13 mini to my daughter and picked up the 14 pro. While the 14 pro is great, it feels like a heavy brick.
Long story short, I just purchased another brand new blue 13 mini a few days ago. I missed the form factor and how light it was. It’s just right. I don’t need anything more really.

Every person I know that has the XR,11,13,14 and has held my 13 mini loves it so much more than the one they have, mainly because of the size and feel which is the reason I chose it and I haven’t been disappointed at all.
I just bought the iPhone 13 mini today, upgrading from my more than 5 years old iPhone 8, which has served me so well. I've never had a phone for longer (or even just half as long) as the iPhone 8, so I'm hoping the iPhone 13 mini will live up to it.
How is the battery life? Planning on purchasing my first iphone later this year.
I charge it about once a day, and that's enough. Some days twice if I use it a lot and don't want it to get under 35%
But usually one charge is enough to last me the entire day.
I’ve had my mini since June of last year and I came from the S21 Ultra. By far it’s one of my favorite phones, and being able to comfortably do anything one handed is a boon in getting simple tasks done. But, still has the oomph I need in getting more moderate usage out of it!

I have been waited for the smaller phone since years then finally replaced my iPhone XS by 13 mini.
Its best phone i had ever, 5.4" is still big enough screen to write emails, posts on socials and watching YT videos or gaming. No more larger phone ever if possible.
It lays in pocket perfectly no matter you're in work or on sport activities like running or biking, and completely no issues with battery working time - one day of very active up to two days when i am not using phone a lot.
I loved my iPhone 5. I also love my iPhone XS. I just bought the 13 mini, and I'm going to use the XS as my backup. I will also have the iPhone 15 Pro for the pics. (I'm a business owner and need two phones for both of my businesses.)

I have the 13 mini and I gotta say it’s my favorite phone ever! I love small phones and it has everything you need! I would love to see another mini iPhone in the future with 120hz, usb c, a pro camera and a better battery and that’ll be the best phone ever!
I’ve been eyeing the mini since last year…but also curious what the next SE will look like.
After a year with the 13 pro max, I just switched to the 13 mini. I’m much happier having a phone that’s not so heavy. I honestly don’t miss the battery life and zoom camera. The 13 Pro Max might be the better phone on paper, but the 13 Mini is so far the best phone for me.

You think is worth the change to go from 12 mini to 13mini for the battery and the camera. I think it has one function the movie mode, I think for the 13mini. I love the mini what botters me most is the screen, and it isn t a 120hz screen that does a lot when playing with phones with 120hz screen and ofcourse the battery you can come through one day but you have to becarefull.
After my very long relationship with my iphone 6s, I have finally decided to upgrade. However, when I went to the istore and other apple reseller outlets, sales said they have no stocks because iphone 13 mini is already discountinued. The news broke my heart because I was already so excited for the upgrade and its the only model I have ever held at the store that my small hands can handle. So I went online and found out apple store online still has stocks left. I immediately checked it out. Now, I am still waiting for the phone to arrive from overseas. I'm excited! 😅
I have samsung s22 ultra. I needed a phone for work. I picked up a mini in a store and loved it. Few days later went to the apple store and bought one. Had it for a few weeks and I love it.
I personally love the small design....I bought an SE for kinda the same reason.....didn't want a bulky phone, but also wouldn't like to miss out on modern tech features......

I still have my iPhone 8 Plus and love that the minis screen size is the same size, but with the benefit of being smaller. Of the body. so I hope to switch one day.

I still actively use my iphone 13 mini. I use this as my everyday all around phone. It's already a year & a half old. And still this is the best iPhone ever!
I got a 12 mini as soon as it was launched and yes, I love it despite the battery 🪫. However I don’t change phones every year, so I didn’t get the 13 mini because it doesn’t make sense to me to spend that $$ every year, for so little improvement. So I really was hoping I could get a 15 mini 😢
Got my 13 mini last month from an 11 and I didn’t realize how much I’d love the size! Debated going 14 pro but the price was just too much to swing and the 13 mini is basically 85-90% there in my book for almost half the price.
Those who know know, the mini is great!

The MagSafe battery was specifically made for the Mini. It’s the exact size. Believe it or not I still get compliments on the battery and how cool it looks

I love my red 13 mini. My only complaint is battery life and missing that telephoto lens. Other wise it’s one of the best iPhones ever made in my opinion.

I've had my iPhone 12 mini for almost 2 years now. It's been an awesome phone. The battery has degraded somewhat, but it still easily lasts a day with light to moderate use. Most of the things that can be said about the 13 mini hold true with the 12 mini as well.
Considered buying the 13 Mini since the size is sensational for me. I just hate the brushed-finish of its frame, unlike the Pro series which feels premium. Would love to get me hands on a 13 Pro now.
I just gave away my 14pro max to my mother yesterday and got myself the 13 mini, love it so far!
im still considering whenever i should get a 13 mini or a 14 pro max( i allready own 13 pro max alpine green), there are couple of reasons as why im considering a 2nd iphone even though i own pro max, first is prices going up again, second is design change from my favorite squared design to curved back not certain but almost guaranteed as for decision it depends on 4 categories, first is how 15 pro max or ultra how they name it will arive and its price point, prices sky rocketed since i brough 13 pro max at my area from 13 to 14 pro max prices raised by 300$ in a year like wtf it used to be 1200$ and now it starts at 1500$ what next starting at 1700-1800? im not complaing about price for value but that's just unfair our salary is the same and prices raise by salary each year 70% of my current salary raising per year on stupid inflation and no my salary does not go up, and for 13 mini it is for nastlagia and last small iphone i regret not buying it earlyer but i may, final decision will come at the apple annoucement for iphone 15, whenever i go though with my 2nd iphone call, whenever i pick a 13 mini or a 14 pro max, 13 mini is gonna be fun to watch and use sometimes, but i can't use it as my main device, in that regard 14 pro max is more than enough of an upgrade just dynamic iland is enough to change my user experience ofc after my 13 pro max degrades. till then both option will just collect dust and be charged on weekly.

I love my iphone 13 mini. I upgraded from iphone 7. I’m not into the big bulky phones. But I do pair my 13 mini with ipad mini 6 for my media consumption,note taking device and ebook reader. I’ve been using my 13 mini for 4 months now and the battery health went down from 100% to 99% is that good or not? 😂
The mini lineup were IMHO the best iPhones that Apple has ever made...for me. So sad that they're not being renewed but hope springs eternal that they will turn the SE into the mini form factor.

I picked it up. I had the iPhone 12 and still got an iPhone 13 mini when it dropped. I'll note I never upgrade my phone every year but when I heard they weren't going to do a mini again I wanted to get in while I could. That said, I also don't want to be pining for things that will never be, the iPhone mini is gone and I will just keep mine until Apple does something a little more interesting than adjust the sizes slightly.
As I just order 13 Mini recently and waiting for the order. I can say that your video made more sense to us. Actually mini makes more sense as it is way handy and portable as phone should be. iPhone 13 mini is the best but Apple is not manufacturing the units and is out of stock in India. I wish Apple continued the mini.

Today I would totally would have picked a 13 mini, in December I upgraded from a 11 to the 14 pro and I love it but the way I use it has changed (at least for the moment), since the 5s (then 7, X-ray, 11 and a little bit of the 14 pro) I used to do everything in my cellphone, even uni projects, but since now I’m not going out a lot, I’ve been consuming social media almost only in my iPad, apart from message apps I just use ig in my iPhone.
I’ve notice a huge improvement, the 120 hz is really smooth but more so in the oled display. I like to take pictures of myself, the sky and just urban landscape in general, but I’m always alone so no one really take pictures of me, thus I don’t take pictures in general on a daily basis, I find the 3rd lense kinda useless for the majority of users, more like very very situational and I don’t think the quality is that great to really use it, the auto focus when you have really either really close or far, sometimes is kinda bad and stressful .
The weight is another factor, it’s heavy but in terms of material it’s noticeable that the quality is better in the metal used and the finish of the glass in the back. Color is something I find quite intriguing, I loved my 7 because it was black matte, but ever since then, they haven’t released anything like that, the 14 pro almost never looks really black, I think midnight does a better job in that part (my aunt has a 12 in that color).
Perhaps in a couple months when I’m back on track and have to go out and really depend of my cellphone my thoughts will change to the way they use to be. I think the perfect size (for me) would have been the one of the x and xs. I’ll still like to have a 13 mini in the future as a 2nd device (tbh a total whim in my opinion).
I think a refurbished one will be good choice since it wouldn’t be as expensive (a mere thing to justify the acquisition), I’ve seen that the 12 mini is around 300 dollars sometimes in Amazon, do you think that when the 15’s come out, the 13 mini would be around that price?
I have a 13 pro regular with 128gb but I need more storage could be a good trade to swith with this mini with better storage?

I've held the 13 mini before in stores, but never have I actually owned one; in fact, I've never owned an iPhone. However, despite me not being an Apple fan, the size of the phone and the Apple ecosystem was really tugging on me, and I finally caved and purchased one. It arrives in the mail in a couple days, and I'm really looking forward to it!

A really great device i have since october 2022, my battery is at 97%, althoug used my Iphone as gps on my motorcycle. it is for me the truly next gen iPhone since the original. what comes before was just evolution. As same small size, battery is impressive, with the leather apple case that drops a lot in various condition and the phone is still perfect. I had once because i let the phone in plain sun with gps on and maxium brightness on my non moving motorycle, it overheat and i had to wait a little bit, then it dimmed the screen after a short while then i was back quickly the full brighntess. It deals well with high temperature compared to the iPhone SE 2020 that was awful for that. it was already 1 year old when i bough it in 2022 and even now it's amazing fluid and keep up so well. Surely a jewel for ones that seek for compact flagships as me ! just disapointed about picture quality, i keep my Nokia pureview 808 in certain condition to take better zoomed and less processed but overall it's doing all perfectly fine and videos are awesome
I have an old SE (v1.0) and tossing up between the 13 mini or regular 13. One thing i'm not sure about the mini is the icons are smaller to view than on my SE. The bigger screen on the regular 13 is better for my eyes, but the often double hands you need to use it is a bit cumbersome. So still can't decide.
I doubt you’d find it a problem. I’ve just upgraded from the SE v2 to the 13 Mini, and if the icons are a little smaller, the sharper, brighter screen and greater overall screen size more than make up for it. Looking at the two phones side by side, the screen on the 13 Mini is a clearly better viewing experience.
I have a 14 Plus and a 13 Mini,,, the Mini has gone back to being my daily driver,,, my 14 Plus is now only used as an at home camera.

While it’s too small for me I’m still a fan. My brother bought the 13 mini when it came out and still says it’s the best phone since the 5s.
One correction regarding the camera setup - Iphone 14 has the main camera from the previous 13 Pro model, while 13 mini has main camera from 12 Pro Max. They are both 12MP cameras but I think the one on Iphone 14 is a bit better, dxomark results imply the same. However, I'm also drawn to get 13 mini instead of regular 14 even though the price is very similar, 13 mini is only 50€ cheaper, so I'm still on the fence weather to go for the better form factor or for the newer device with more RAM, better camera and battery...damn you apple for discontinuing the MINI lineup.
Just updated to Iphone 13 mini from SE 2020, lets see how it goes.
Went from an A52 5G to the 13 mini and boy do I like it. For me there are no compromises having this form factor. Highly recommended for anyone feeling their phone is too large.

Same here! Bought a 13 mini last summer and I'm already at 98%...
Had mine for 13 months, battery is 92% with optimal charging
Use 5w watt charger, charge your iphone when the batt is at 30% and charge up to 85-90%

I Just bought It yesterday from swappie. I have an iPad air for TH-cam, videos and scrolling at home so i really don’t need something big in my pocket for the day when i only chat and sometimes Watch instagram. I used SE2020 for 2 years and it was Perfect for me so i think that this will be a Great upgrade

I use the 14 pro to film all the videos on my channel, and to be honest, I just want to buy a mini as my daily device and just keep my 14 pro aside when filming.
