Kheema with Goan Green Masala | Minced Meat Recipe

  • A Goan-style Kheema to try this weekend! Deliciously cooked with a vibrant Goan green curry paste, it will awaken your taste buds and take them to newer heights :)
    Try this with pav for best results! Mog Asum ❤️
    Ingredients:
    For the Green Paste:
    1 Cup fresh Coriander
    1/4 Cup Mint leave
    6 Cloves
    12 Black Peppercorns
    1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
    5-6 Garlic cloves
    1" piece of Ginger
    4-6 Green Chillies
    Little Water to grind to a fine paste
    For the Kheema:
    1/2 Kg Minced Meat (Beef/Mutton/Lamb)
    1 teaspoon Salt
    Juice of 1/2 a Lime
    1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
    2 Tablespoons Oil
    2 large Onions, finely chopped
    1 large Potato, diced
    1/4 Cup Tamarind Juice
    1/2 Cup (or more) Water
    1/4 Cup frozen Peas (can also use fresh, but add with potatoes)
    1/2 teaspoon Sugar
    Salt to taste
    Coriander leaves for garnish
