Thank you for sharing with us your routine! I wish you the best! And I will be following you from now...I mean on youtube. That sounded a bit creepy, didn't it? 😂 I am hoping to join a doctoral programme next year. But I have butterflies in my stomach! Anyways, could you give some advice on extracurricular activities? Activities that takes you 1 step closer to your potential careerr goal. Obviously, they differ and are based on your doctoral programme, your goal and something relevant. Not doing extracurricular activities in my masters was, to an extent, bane of my life. Could you touch upon that in your future videos? THANKS!!❤
Thanks for your comment! Glad you liked the video. To be frank, extra curricular activities are a plus point when you are applying for PhD programs, however they're not mandatory. Let's say, if you have a paper, your interviewer thinks you're interested in writing and you have skill set for that. It's just an impression. However does that reserves your spot for a PhD? Not true. It completely depends on your performance and your attitude towards learning. PhD journey is learning at every stage and the person hiring sees it you're good at that. I'll try to make a separate video on this, thanks for the suggestion and your support.
