Hi Brother, Thank you for this helpful video! I have a question regarding the visa application process for a fully funded PhD. With a fully funded scholarship, how much bank statement is required? Is it true that even with funding, students need to show proof of living expenses for one year as part of the application? Do I apply by myself via a consultant? I have a funded PhD offer. I am about to file my visa application. I’m planning to borrow funds for it, so any related advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
@@aneesrehman7394 I am glad you found it helpful brother. The visa application would be the same as a student visa. For Germany, I know you will need the block amount with is around 11k Euros. As you said, it's the living expenses that you have to show. In case you will be getting some money as well or be doing Associate Professor job in uni then you can talk to visa officer about it. Don't involve any consultant, applications are usually straight forward, go ahead with it yourself.
@@aneesrehman7394 amazing to hear that, I did BSc from Comsats Islamabad. It's good you got admission based on your research, this already shows that you are going to do great :) Btw, is it for Germany or UK?
@@msaadamir It is a funded PhD program at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, UK includes a full tuition waiver and provides the standard UK PhD stipend.
@@PawanKumar-xn3gs hi Pawan, for sure you can. Both UK and Germany has many scholarships which are fully funded and at times with stipends as well. For UK, you can follow the 3 scholarships and procedure to secure admission. For Germany, you can go to daad.de there are 180 scholarships I can see there. Be advised that you might not get something 100% related to AI but which ever research topic you use. You can most likely use AI in your research in all of them
@@AyeshaSEveryday in my opinion Jan 2024 will be too early to target. The whole process can take 6 months to 1 year. Once you secure admission to a program, then you apply for a visa which can take a while too. But no worries, once you are in the program, you can always extend it to the next session till you get the visa
@@msaadamir I apply for Master’s research programme, offer letter maybe come today or tomorrow, so then its not possible to take January intake. Agency people say, It's take 1.5 month for Processing if documents are fulfill
@@AyeshaSEveryday ok in that case it's possible, I thought you are about the start the process. If you get the letter this week and the visa even takes 3 months then it's ok if you miss some time in January as well. So January is doable in this case
Thankyou bhai
