    I currently own under 100 possessions. I would like to own less! I think by subtracting possessions it is possible to learn what we miss, prioritise and value. This is why I have been attempting a project 333 for everything I own. Not simply my minimalist wardrobe.
    For anyone who is new to the term project 333. It means intentionally picking and trialing 33 items for 3 months. Albeit, usually this is clothes. I had the idea of doing it across everything I own… With the objective of learning what works and what doesn't. To realise, what could be decluttered easily. In order to live a simple life and intentional lifestyle with no clutter. The project 333, is a popular tool in minimalism but usually specifically for a minimalist wardrobe. I want to use this minimalist tool to find out what items I truly use and what items I may miss. Albeit, There is only about 57 more items in my extreme minimalist personal possessions bank/ inventory.
    I look forward to this minimalist journey and adventure, in a bid to downsize my items even more. So that I can comfortably Carry My items in a Small Backpack when I go away traveling. Which will be my eventual nomadic minimalist Travel adventure.
    Since starting this project 333 6 weeks ago, I have learned a few things I would miss already. In this video I share what possessions I would miss as a minimalist. I discuss the pros & cons of extreme minimalism. Moreover, the aim of this video is to provide motivation & inspiration to those who wish to do something similar as a part of their minimalist lifestyle.

    I realised I did not finish one of my sentences again 😂 I was going to say there are 4 items missing from last time [hence the thumbnail looking different] because 2 of them are in the wash. However the other 2 were complete oversights- I forgot to put my toothbrush 🪥 out & Also stack my laptop 💻 under my black documents folder like in the last video about my possessions. I didn’t want it to confuse anyone - They are still included in my project 333. As is my coat, shoes scarf and bag. They merely don’t fold well. 😊

    I recently increased my personal possessions to 150. I am slowly finding a happy medium. I think I was around 300 items completely including bedding, furniture and hangers and found that this was my 'too much'.

      It’s interesting to learn what we all find ‘too much’ isn’t it 😂 and how things can gradually annoy us. I look back at some of my earlier videos now and think woo I had a lot more stuff back then 😂- don’t think I could deal with that now 😂 like what was once freshly decluttered and feeling minimal… now in hindsight feels abit too much 😂. I think we become very accustomed to our spaces very quickly 😂. I’ve also learnt, on my journey that I like the few objects I do have & use in my home to be special, perhaps because I care about home interior design - I actually care much more about our shared home items - than my personal possessions 😂 So that’s been funny to learn. 😊

    Oh, the idea of being able to track your items like that! After watching your video, I plan to do a variation of this challenge: I'm a student, living in residence, and will be graduating in 8 months. I want to spend the last two months with very few items (everything else will be packed in my car) so that I can minimize the stress associated with that time. I'm somewhat of a minimalist as is, and enjoy doing challenges like this!

      Great 😊 - Yes it’s a really interesting way to find out what you truly use daily or miss when it’s not there. Some things that you didn’t even realise 😊

    I'm from the south east of the UK, in winter I usually wear thick leggings, jeans or tracks, thicker socks, uggs or rain boots or trainers, sometimes a vest, long sleeve top, jumper of some sort, a hooded coat, gloves, hat, sometimes a scarf, sometimes sunglasses bc winter sun. And I wear slippers or thick slipper socks indoors.

    Wow! You're working hard at this. 💪🏻Very proud of you. ❤️ I have been decluttering as well. I would say I'm a minimalist but, working towards extreme Minimalism.....it's no doubt a process.

      Thank You ☺️ Yes it’s definitely a process of learning what we really need and find comfort & value in I think. The balancing of owning less with time saving is a key and individual decision I think. 😊

    Great video! I live in south east Norway and it is so cold here nowadays, that there is a lot of things and clothes that is essential for winter. More than what I would like. Example: today I have to go out and get a gas heater thing, for use on the very coldest days. Don’t want to, but have to!

    Thanks for this inspiring video. It's very helpful to hear about the reality of living with a limited amount of possessions in a particular season. I appreciate your honesty and feedback. Will definitely be following along as I want to seriously simplify my possessions this year. Happy new year 🎉

      Hi, I think I replied to your comment on another video earlier (if that was you 😊) I bought it on eBay and it’s sadly out of stock but there are other sellers selling them. Some are acrylic & some are Glass. Mine is Glass. And there are different colours to choose from 😊 if you just search Lava chandelier ceiling light it should find some for you 😊 Thank You

    hey! thanks for the video. im currently looking into minimalism and i have a question, why do almost all of your items/items of other minimalists i saw come in basic black and white colors? is there a reason behind that or is that simply an aesthetic choice?

    • @SagelifeMinimalism
      @SagelifeMinimalism  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I go have a couple of green items too and I’ve got a wardrobe video if you would like to see the range of my broader items. I tend to stick to three colours just because with so few items it’s easier to match & coordinate them. I also think black doesn’t discolour quite as quickly as white. The colours I usually have are black beige & green. 😊

      Currently no nail polish I have 5 consumable hygiene/ beauty items that I show in the previous video I linked. They are deodorant, moisturiser, dr bronners, mascara and lip tint balm.

    Is this ocd

    • @SagelifeMinimalism
      @SagelifeMinimalism  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Well 😂 that is debatable. I think we could quite easily say that many minimalists have borderline ocd. Wanted to keep a very clean, curated and Clutterfree home, with no visual noise. The problem is that the smaller your home the less you may need to have to have the same effect. My home can begin to feel cramped and visually noisy at times unless I declutter. This is an experiment for me to declutter the most I can to have more space 😊. My home that I share is 32sqm. (So 16 each) In terms of storing possessions and furniture.
