Steve, I just want to say thank you. Went out on the 4th and caught 6 bass. Nothing really large, one that was maybe 3 lbs, the rest were 1-2 lb. But for me, that's great. I just want to give you credit well deserved because until I started watching your videos, I was catching nothing. Now I've been out about 6 trips in a row where I'm catching fish. Been through Wimpy's and Tower Park and after watching your videos I'm now starting to understand what to do and where to cast. Before, I was just casting to cast. Since having a better understanding, thanks to your videos, I've been able to catch more fish every trip out. So, thank you sir! I appreciate what you do!
Great Info Steve, I was out the other day and caught a 20 incher... I am heading back this next week to a different area, Love fishing the Delta!! Tight Lines My Friend!!
I will be at PP point for the awards. Let your friends know I will talk with or interview anyone who is willing. PS I will have live bass for sale for any of my subscribers. Just making sure you know I'm joking.
Much appreciated sir! I went out off paradise point last weekend and got 10 fish, 5 were keepers. Dropshot, buzzbaits, jig, spinner baits, and fluke. Biggest fish only being about 2.5lbs but all still fun. Happy birthday America!
@@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 I have been trying to decide. I haven't fished a tournament yet this year and the delta has been kicking my butt, so I'm on the fence. I put it on my calendar in January. I think I will give it a shot - it gives me an excuse to get out and fish all day! But my expectations are very low for results. I'll let you know what I decide.
Thanks for all the work you put into this report, I have no boat but my friend who can't catch any fish does. Got out Tuesday, on water 7am and first fish app 7:25 was 7.7 lb PB on a ned rig. We fished until 12:30 and got 15-16 fish including 3 catfish app 2lb each all on ned rigs.
Nice! Me and my cousin were out there last Saturday by the Tracy delta and he caught a low 7 pounder. Steve is right. Those biggies are popping out. Thanks for the video, Steve!
Fished Sunday in the tnt hs event, won it with 10.18. Had a lot of wind and our better fish came around tulies with wind on a whopper plopper. Once the sun got high and the weather got warm we filled our limit with senkos. Bite was tough overall and we missed more big fish on ploppers that would’ve gave us some breathing room. Thanks for the reports Steve
Thanks for the report Adam and congrats on the big win. Everyone has been missing the big ones, it's the post spawn reset syndrome. One week to 10 days and the big ones will start to fall. My prediction. Next full moon is a must for all night fishermen.
Fished the California Free Fish day 7/6 at Walnut Grove, My wife caught the biggest, I caught the smallest and our daughter caught 4 diaper stripers. Good Times!
Was out last Sunday we did manage 30+ fish but best 5 was maybe 12-13lb with the big fish of the day being 3.79. We found a decent frog bite until 10 then had to slow down to soft plastic left around 4pm the areas between b and w and tower had some kind of brown algae bloom going on as well
Thanks for the report and give aways Steve! Love the “fish places that no longer exist” idea. Hope you get some good ones. I can attest to Baitchuckin’s quality baits👍
@@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 It’s tough when you can’t touch gear on the deck as it is too hot. Folsom has been packed, not worth the effort. PP is 3 hour round trip, a long way for a couple hours of nice water.
Thanks for the video Steve happy fourth. Think I’ll stay away from the Delta for a week. Can’t take that hot weather. It’s beautiful here at the beach thanks.Camoguy
Anyone know what type of bass at 47 seconds into start of video? We've got largemouth, smallmouth, spotted, white, striped, and help me out if there's more in the delta. Are there any hybrids?
😂😂😂 Happy 4th Steve everyone has butchered my name so you’re forgiven… lol I’m located in Stockton so we can meetup somewhere so I can claim my $50 prize 😬👍🙏😇🎣 thank you sir!!!
Great tips Steve. Happy 4th of July! When youre fishing high tide are you still throwing way into tulies with rhe weeless worm set up you mentioned last year? Also what is your favorite frog set up?
I don't think I will fish the tournament but I want to be there for the weigh in. I may fish the big fish tournament- used to be the Yamamoto tournament. Hope to see you at one of them.
Talk about the hot topic all the tournaments that are Russo and then sea lions know where the choke point is when released they’re waiting them to come down that tunnel. Talk about the amateur West Coast scene tournament scene 🎬

Love the idea that you’re willing to share the knowledge you’ve accumulated on the delta.
Thanks for the support Bass Head. I have had lots of anglers share there information so all I am doing is passing it along. Hope it helps.

Hey Steve, great report again. Fishing the Delta out of B&W this weekend (4/6 & 4/7) Sat & Sun from 5:20-11:20am. Come see us at weigh-in on Sunday.
I will be in SF, let me know how you guys do. See you soon. Fish slow and deep, punch and frog, I think the fish are feeling the heat. Good luck.
Great report, thanks Steve, look forward to getting out a bunch this week, hopefully a bunch of Topwater fish on flies ahead!
Good Luck, was out last night and it was tough. Very hot and lot's of mosquitoes.

Thanks for watching-good luck.
The problem with the evening bite is the pleasure boaters have muddied up the water! Watch out for those wakes . . .
Was out last night and it was bad. Could not find calm water that had not been skied over or run over by jet skiers. Went home pissed.
Great report

Been getting some nice spots this week, nothing over 4 pounds , Here at the San Joaquin river in the Central Valley
