Growing a Hobby Outside of Work | How I stay creative post-grad, revisiting painting! | Studio Talk

Heylo everyone~ Welcome to my channel, to the folks who are old and new :D I am so happy to be sharing with you my process of completing this painting I was able to make for a lovely family at my church. I also share a little bit of the struggles and advice I have for the people who want to grow, develop and find a hobby outside of their work, 9-5. I find that I need to pursue my hobbies outside of my corporate job to stay creative, and be constantly stimulated to continue making cool things in my free time.

off topic but, if you haven't really touched art in 4 years (I think that's kinda what I picked up from the video?) how'd you get that family at church to buy into your unpainted painting? :D I'm rather impressed with your sales skills xD

good question! I meant that I haven’t touched fine arts in a while but I have been doing design/digital art throughout the 4 years :)
