@@mustermannfm They're a solid choice of the bunch too, especially as they narrowly avoided relegation this last season from Serie A on the last day. Bahia is an intriguing one too as they now are part of the City Group as well.
@@BrasilianFury I have a series "concept" for the City Group, that I'll never have the time to put into serious consideration. The premise was to bring down the entire City Group from the inside. The trick being that you have to be successful enough to essentially get promoted through the entire group, saddling each side with overpaid, old players on long contracts - ones that are good enough to bring success, but all on the precipice of regression.
Hello mate, love the series and all the content you provide across all your videos, you're a very insightful guy and I'm learning a lot. The thought and effort you put into making your videos is truly commenable and it really makes for videos of the highest caliber. I apologise if this has been asked/answered before, but is the spreadsheet of player data is publically available in the same, or similar, way your save files and tactics are? I would really enjoy cifting through that data for myself to practice my analysis skills and I don't have the time (or, let's be honest, effort) to put together something like that myself. Thanks!
No, it's not publicly available, for a few reasons: 1) I knew it was about to become outdated as soon as the patch gets released. After all, players have had attributes changed, and that will impact performance, which will require tests to be rerun. Same goes, when the next patch is released, too. 2) It's a live document that is not in any way built with the intention of it being useful for anyone other than me. I don't plan on tidying up a document for public release that I know is only temporary (see 1.) 3) It is a tool for the concept of the series. You are best served extracting that data from the game yourself after you've played through a season. When the game starts you won't have performance data available, but you will be the time you've been able to actually see your players play games. Data from your own game world will always be more valuable.
I appreciate the detailed reply! It's a shame but that all makes sense, so fair enough. In my mind I wanted to use it mostly as a means of making 1st season transfers as recently I've been playing mostly short-term (1 or 2 season) saves with the first transfer window enabled - so for a significant period of my saves I'm restricted in the pool of data I have available. Therefore reason 3 probably applies less to me personally than it would to others. Although, as a general rule, I would agree wholeheartedly with your point that my own data is infinitely more useful and that is how I'm currently playing the game. The intention was never to abondon that completely in favour of your data - merely fill in the blanks at the start of each save. In saying all of that I'm possibly an outlier in how I am playing and I totally understand your first two points. Perhaps I'll have to try and muster the effort to create something for myself. Cheers again, and have a good Sunday. Looking forward to the next video :)
@@Cosafish even in those situations, using your own gameworld will still be more beneficial. How you set up, in terms of leagues/detail level/etc... will result in a different pool of players available. It's not hard to set up your own version, though. When you start a new save, start with someone unemployed. Go on holiday until the end of the first season. Go to Player Search -> Set up a view with stats and export that. Then go back to the start of your save and take over a team normally. This way you'll have the information, and it will be relevant to your actual game.
@@mustermannfm Of course, I'm not discounting that. I do think that there are pros and cons to both sides, but it would be a purely academic exercise to discuss it and I don't wish to take up more of your time than needs be. And sorry if it sounds like I'm being a contrarian, I have a tendancy to play devil's advocate and I quite enjoy these types of discussions as I often learn a lot from them. thanks for your work. detail by detail what a nice way to play FM! And is there any chance to make a Gladbach analysis video as well? Really love your work!!
I’d love to see this done at Leeds. We’ve got some great youngsters who play multiple positions so I’d be interested to see how the CPU fits them in and the data that comes with it
Very unrelated but I have been following Ebimbe since his debut for PSG in 2021. I just thought his name was funny for some reason. Very cool to see him perform so well (albeit in a simulation game)
He seems to be a cracking player in-game. I saw his name pop-up in the Scouting Centre for my PAOK save, and was genuinely disappointed that I don't currently have a need for his position(s)!! Not seen him in real life, though, so can't comment - but if this is anything to go by, he looks promising!
@@mustermannfm Don’t watch much Bundesliga but, based off his ratings, he seems a tad inconsistent. But obviously can’t trust ratings. Even so, didn’t expect Ebimbe to even reach the height of starting for a top 6 German team!

Just FM, Figma and DaVinci Resolve. My knowledge/skills are very limited, but I've found a way to make things occasionally work as I want. Because I made the skin before I even embarked on YT, I have all the assets I created in Figma. I then use the protoyping facilities for recreating some things to make them appear as if they happen in game (not so much for this video, but that's how I've done a lot of the transitions in the PAOK series, for example). I also can't draw for toffee, so use Figma for illustrations. Taking reference photos and drawing boxes over the top. All very unelegant 😂. Things that have had an animation element is usually done through Figma prototyping, too. That said, I've noticed a drop in resolution quality on Figma's prototyping, and recently started using DaVinci Resolve for editing, so trying to get as much done either in game, or inside Resolve itself.
Got a new request for you -- there's rumors of a Liga MX, MLS merger. I know there's tons of mods out there, ans I sure you know some people. I think that would be really flipping cool to explore! It would actually be a really solid league.. both leagues rank as low as like 9 to as high as low 20s globally. I have to imagine the combination of the two with a tier system (honestly probably 4 tiers deep worth of talent) would make for a top 5-8 league in the world. I just think it would be cool to explore
That does sound interesting. I'd be surprised for the MLS to open itself up to that idea. But then, I suppose the Leagues Cup has potentially been building towards that.
@mustermannfm mls wants validation adding in Club America and FC Monterrey would do that I think. Were at a stage now we're there are several MLS clubs who would be good enough to enjoy a relegation battle in the PL, whereas those teams listed above would probably be mid table in the PL. And Liga MX would enjoy the marketing power of the MLS
Chelsea are in consideration. Thinking of maybe doing one using "Your World" mode so as to imagine it is without Pochettino and the summer transfers at all. It's a little difficult to take a proper Moneyball approach with a club who has such a blatant disregard for market values and wages.
Great video as always. Love your content. I noticed the squad view looks different than mine in the skin, has it been update or how do I get that view? Thanks
As mentioned in the video description: The squad view in the skin in this video is not part of the public release. This is because it causes a number of issues elsewhere - including, but not limited to, being unable to see players out on loan or international squads.
@@shaunhoward7876 no apology necessary. I genuinely find it heartbreaking that it's not something I can add to the public release. One of my favourite things I worked on.
There isn't a specific set up that is required - it really comes down to your PC's capability and what you want from the save. I do explain how/why I set up leagues in the PAOK series here: th-cam.com/video/f-H4GfG9mH0/w-d-xo.html
Thank you, dude! Is there a particular team you'd like to see? (this isn't a commitment to doing it - the list is growing far larger than I'll ever be able to do before FM25 is out, but I'm always interested to know)
Not as a publically available table, no. The baseline stats are available by using the pizza charts in the Mustermann skin (or other skins that have incorporated the pizza chart).
I’d be very curious of how you would set up your recruitment focuses if you didnt have the spreadsheet from the first season. I supoose you get your potential targets from the spreadsheet

I have a question regarding the amount of headers won/90. Would you still believe a low amount of header won/90 is concerning if a CB is playing in a top of the league team? Maybe he is not involved in many challenges because the team is spending most of the time attacking or with the ball. But I would like to know your thinking.
A fair question, and yes, teams who are dominant are likely to contest fewer aerial challenges. That extends to all defensive metrics, as there are not possession-adjusted stats in the game. And often I would priority % won as far more valuable. In this situation, Frankfurt averaged 51% possession, and so were not a particular dominant team, and as seen with the other centre-backs, they were (relatively) quite active in that regard. I should've possibly stressed more that whilst Tuta won the majority of his headers, 61% is low for a centre-back who is not a set-piece target. Roles can also play a part. A cover duty is less likely to engage in those initial duels, but we know he was used as a Wide Centre Back, where that duty is not an option. It is also important to stress that by being concerned, that doesn't mean that a player isn't capable, but it is useful for understanding the profile of a player. Tuta might struggle in a backs-to-the-wall, park-the-bus, defensive system, or alongside another centre-back who is aerially challenged. But recognising this means we can be mindful of such when constructing a tactic.
@@mustermannfm Great answer, thanks! It happens to me in my save. I play Leverkusen and doing well but my CBs have low percentile bars altought they win the majority of their headers. That's why I wanted to know your reasoning. 👌
Depends on the role the player is used. If they're a midfielder whose primary job is to attack, AM. If their primary job is defensive or supporting build up, DM.
No. There will be future updates to the skin, but this will not be included as it makes it impossible to view players not currently at club (e.g. out on loan) or international squads at all.
I know, right. I was heartbroken when I discovered the issue! Even had it so that you could compare players on the screen (it uses the training screen, where you can select multiple players, and had it that whenever you had multiple selected it would have mini profiles with just their pizza charts - like here: x.com/MustermannFM/status/1760426474333487263?s=20)
Everything delegated except transfers. Although, as I holiday between games - that is set to accept all offers, but only for transfer listed players. I basically treat it like a regular holiday simulation, with the only difference being that I select the lineup for each game.
@@letri6593 I don't tend to holiday either. Literally this series is the only time I've done simulations or used the Instant Result button at all. So in that respect, there isn't great consideration as to the setup - I was just trying to find a way to address the inability to set up a rotational hierarchy/squad depth. In terms of a normal save, I have no hard and fast rules. I try and think about the "character" of the manager and what they would be involved in. And so, responsibilities tend to be narrative driven. So what is delegated changes save to save. I appreciate this isn't a helpful answer 🤣
They made transfers in 23/24 - €59m worth in fact. Dina Ebimbe, Pacho, Max, Knauff, Larsson, Skhiri, Koch, Ngankam, Nkounkou and Chaibi were all new arrivals over the summer.
@@mustermannfm Yes, that's right but all of them came before Kolo Muani left. So there should be a lot of money left over. It seems very unrealistic that nothing happened after the Kolo Muani transfer.
@@PatrickL-j1q depends on a few factors - SI might contend that there was indication that Frankfurt knew all along that Kolo Muani would be sold before the end of the transfer window and some of their activity beforehand was with this in mind. They might also contend that the funds generated on September the 1st weren't intended to be part of the summer transfer window. Might be interesting to see what their budget is now the new patch is out.
As mentioned in the description: "The squad view in the skin in this video is not part of the public release. This is because it causes a number of issues elsewhere - including, but not limited to, being unable to see players out on loan or international squads."
Surprisingly not too long! Not that I properly notice - I'll write the script whilst it's processing, so I'm distracted. I think there's one simulation where I completely forgot about the game for 4 hours. It was just sitting there waiting for me to save and run a new sim 😂
@@mustermannfm i saw everything simmed in full detail i was like wooow 😳 Full detail and lots of leagues loaded seems to be the way to go for most realistic results and balanced saveworld, but i’m always hesitant for the game becoming too slow 😂
@@KevinV90 oh the baseline sims - yeah they took ages! I work from home, though - so it was 2 a day. One whilst working, one whilst sleeping. Then cross my fingers and pray when importing the data into Google Sheets 😂
Had a look at this skin, i like the feel of it but its fundamentally flawed right as each season reset all the data resets to 0, so your ability to review players is in very finite timeframes for all the different countries in the game. Or am i missing something?
What most people do is create a save point before the season resets. What I do is review my players performances and make transfer plans during the season. Adding notes to players when necessary. If someone new is identified, I can then go back to a previous save point to check their advanced metrics for that season.
Thanks for reply, to much hassle for me sadly 🤣 love the skin, would have been awesome if the game mechanics allowed for it to be able to have a toggke to see prior season data.
The second request for River Plate under this video!! I will be heading to South America in 3 episodes time, but I haven't confirmed the club (or country) yet! I will keep this in mind, though
No. That is an edit just for this video. The changes sadly cause issues elsewhere, including being unable to see players who are out on loan or international squads and so won't be incorporated in future releases.
@@mustermannfm yeap the same players,I am getting thrased at the counter attack by the oppsitions I am not able to get the attack in a fluid manner I tried making it work into the ball and low shoot forbthe striker which did give me a bit strength but overall its not working Can you make an updated video or give me a guide over what should I do in regards to 433 Or a different varient you can suggest which may work for this team which you may have used for other teams ?
@@sepratx4317 If you're struggling with counter-attacks, consider dropping your defensive line. You'll want to drop the line of engagement, too, to maintain compactness. That said, it wasn't particularly an issue in any of the tests. Dina Ebimbe, Tuta, Smolcic, Nkounkou and Skhiri have enough pace to handle a high line and xG against was generally middle-of-the-pack in the league. It is a deliberately risky strategy in return for greater attacking output. A lack of fluidity in attack is a surprise. Personally, I wouldn't want to Work the Ball Into a Box or encourage attackers to shoot less. Both Ngankam and Bendyczak are accurate shooters, above 50%. Huerta and Gotze are high 40s. Even a bad shot can earn a corner, and that can be another way to score! Huerta off the left and Knauff on the right would probably be my favoured combination. I'd probably be more inclined to change the left winger and striker role. Put the left winger on a support role (Inside Forward or Inverted Winger) and switch the striker to an Advanced Forward. This way you still have a threat in behind, and someone acting as a link. My only concern with that is that Bernabe proved very good at carrying the ball forward, and a supporting inside forward/inverted winger might close off some of that space for him to do so.
@@mustermannfm what would you suggest for the wingbacks? I feel like if I can buy a new wingback let's say Marcus wolf from Dortmund I will have a good rb He can go for the attack role and drop back when needed, I particularly like to make the wingback come into the misdfield And sort of like an underlap ? I would need a suggestion over that for sure And one more thing If you can suggest me a good one on one winger because deliberately in the final third the attack winger gotta have that pace and dribbling capability so that he can be an attacking threat I am sort of looking into buying Rui Patricia or de gea as a goalkeeper That's key because uecl is my main target that we need for the first year and it won't be possible without them My ideology is to follow a Counter possession Where I want to have a good possession And i only wanna counter when I have the ball and a little far from the box I do think I need to buy some tall players but I feel we can also greatly benifit from set peices attacks Do you suggest leaving it on ? Plus what kind of passing so gog suggest Mixed crosses or like a low cross directly into the box ?

Thanks!
No, it's not publicly available, for a few reasons:
1) I knew it was about to become outdated as soon as the patch gets released. After all, players have had attributes changed, and that will impact performance, which will require tests to be rerun. Same goes, when the next patch is released, too.
2) It's a live document that is not in any way built with the intention of it being useful for anyone other than me. I don't plan on tidying up a document for public release that I know is only temporary (see 1.)
3) It is a tool for the concept of the series.
As for the advice in your second paragraph I really appreciate it, and I'll be doing this when I next have some spare time.
thanks for your work. detail by detail what a nice way to play FM! And is there any chance to make a Gladbach analysis video as well? Really love your work!!
because Gerardo Seoane is another pure shite 😅😅
I'll add them to the list, but realistically probably won't be until FM25 at this rate!!
thanks for that😀@@mustermannfm
Another top class video dude!
Thank you very much 🙏
Excellent video as always!
Thank you, dude! It is safe to say that things fell apart a little after I sent that screenshot 😂
I’d love to see this done at Leeds. We’ve got some great youngsters who play multiple positions so I’d be interested to see how the CPU fits them in and the data that comes with it
I'll add them to the list, but I doubt I'll get to them before FM25 is released!
@@GCVideos and he's still young - plenty of potential to get even better!
your graphics and videos always enthrall me, they're so detailed and pretty i love em'. What programs do you use if you dont mind my asking; I'd love to create similar graphics with my own works. Thanks for the vids
Do a newly promoted Millwall next please :P
Im dying here
Or just clean start Millwall, that could be fun as well
I'll add them to the list, but...full transparency...I doubt it will happen before FM25 (the list is quite long already!!)
And Liga MX would enjoy the marketing power of the MLS
awesome video series idea! please do one chelsea, we need a saviour
Thanks
As mentioned in the video description:
The squad view in the skin in this video is not part of the public release. This is because it causes a number of issues elsewhere - including, but not limited to, being unable to see players out on loan or international squads.
@@mustermannfm ok thanks mate. Sorry didn’t see in description. Looks amazing though.
@@shaunhoward7876 no apology necessary. I genuinely find it heartbreaking that it's not something I can add to the public release. One of my favourite things I worked on.
Hi mate love the skin! How should we setup our saves to make sure accurate data from the top20 leagues across the world works properly?
There isn't a specific set up that is required - it really comes down to your PC's capability and what you want from the save. I do explain how/why I set up leagues in the PAOK series here: th-cam.com/video/f-H4GfG9mH0/w-d-xo.html
Love these vids soooo much
Thank you, dude!
Is there a particular team you'd like to see? (this isn't a commitment to doing it - the list is growing far larger than I'll ever be able to do before FM25 is out, but I'm always interested to know)
Great video Sir Mustermann!! question, do you have a baseline stats available somewhere similar to FMSTAG that one could use?
Not as a publically available table, no. The baseline stats are available by using the pizza charts in the Mustermann skin (or other skins that have incorporated the pizza chart).
@@mustermannfm ohh I see, thanks.
I’d be very curious of how you would set up your recruitment focuses if you didnt have the spreadsheet from the first season. I supoose you get your potential targets from the spreadsheet
I'd set up recruitment foci the same way I do here: th-cam.com/video/_ENLzv68fuM/w-d-xo.html - it's just about building a pool of players.
unique , just as always , nothing but unreal unique . my only problem still remain the same . what do i need when the transfer market is open 😂 so i most of the time ending just sign a lot .. however i have one note according to musterman Skin , WANTED manager icon do not appear on manager page , so i just got shoked that ( in may save ) that your ( real life Team AV ) wants me . i changed the skin to see , it is real 🤦🏻♂️😂 but when i went back to musterman skin its just disappears . . i know you already said that u dont want to update the skin and want to play the game ( which we are also enjoys as well even if its ( u ) play the game , not we 😂 ) but still hope that u adress only the main bugs on the skin and fix it ( if , only if ) wont takes much time . . . greeting bro , u the best , and i mean it .
Paragraphs, my dude! They make it a lot easier to read 😂
As mentioned before, there will be updates to the skin - they will just be a few weeks after any patches that update the ME! Thank you for raising the issue, though. I'll add it to the fixlist.
❤❤❤
Which Pizza chart should I use for mid strata? There is a Pizza chart for DMs and for AMs. But Which one is for CMs???
Depends on the role the player is used. If they're a midfielder whose primary job is to attack, AM. If their primary job is defensive or supporting build up, DM.
@@mustermannfm which of is for box2box then or CM on support? Hmmm
@@PabloCheerNightShow I would use DM, personally
Awsome video again is the skin been updated? as when you select player pizza graph comes up on left now
No. There will be future updates to the skin, but this will not be included as it makes it impossible to view players not currently at club (e.g. out on loan) or international squads at all.
@mustermannfm oh OK thank shame tho looks so much better and more effective
I know, right. I was heartbroken when I discovered the issue! Even had it so that you could compare players on the screen (it uses the training screen, where you can select multiple players, and had it that whenever you had multiple selected it would have mini profiles with just their pizza charts - like here: x.com/MustermannFM/status/1760426474333487263?s=20)
Hi mate, been meaning to ask you this but when you do your IR sims how do you set up your responsibilities?
Everything delegated except transfers. Although, as I holiday between games - that is set to accept all offers, but only for transfer listed players.
I basically treat it like a regular holiday simulation, with the only difference being that I select the lineup for each game.
@@mustermannfmI tend to not holiday my saves so if you’re not simulating would you do anything differently?
@@letri6593 I don't tend to holiday either. Literally this series is the only time I've done simulations or used the Instant Result button at all. So in that respect, there isn't great consideration as to the setup - I was just trying to find a way to address the inability to set up a rotational hierarchy/squad depth.
In terms of a normal save, I have no hard and fast rules. I try and think about the "character" of the manager and what they would be involved in. And so, responsibilities tend to be narrative driven. So what is delegated changes save to save. I appreciate this isn't a helpful answer 🤣
What happened to the Kolo Muani money? There were no transfers in 23/24 but the money disappeared?
Please do River Plate. I am waiting for that episode.
I am planning to head to South America in a few episodes time, but team not decided yet. I'll add them to the list.

How long did it take for that sim to be completed? 😂
Joking aside: Great vid this!

I'm sorry to hear that. Are you playing with Frankfurt and the same players?
There's something not working with this tactics what do you think it could be
@@mustermannfm yeap the same players,I am getting thrased at the counter attack by the oppsitions
I am not able to get the attack in a fluid manner
I tried making it work into the ball and low shoot forbthe striker which did give me a bit strength but overall its not working
Can you make an updated video or give me a guide over what should I do in regards to 433
Or a different varient you can suggest which may work for this team which you may have used for other teams ?
I feel like if I can buy a new wingback let's say
Marcus wolf from Dortmund
I will have a good rb
He can go for the attack role and drop back when needed,
I particularly like to make the wingback come into the misdfield
And sort of like an underlap ?
I would need a suggestion over that for sure
And one more thing
If you can suggest me a good one on one winger because deliberately in the final third the attack winger gotta have that pace and dribbling capability so that he can be an attacking threat
I am sort of looking into buying
Rui Patricia or de gea as a goalkeeper
That's key because uecl is my main target that we need for the first year and it won't be possible without them
My ideology is to follow a
Counter possession
Where I want to have a good possession
And i only wanna counter when I have the ball and a little far from the box
I do think I need to buy some tall players but I feel we can also greatly benifit from set peices attacks
Do you suggest leaving it on ?
Plus what kind of passing so gog suggest
Mixed crosses or like a low cross directly into the box ?
Goatse 😂
😇
