My own mother encouraged 3 stalkers in my life from high school into my 50's, putting me in danger even after I'd moved across several states, because she was so desperate to see me married. Even if she did, they are just using it as a way to drug her up and use it as an excuse as to why a grown man would be sleeping alone with a little girl. I say that because I have Adhd and really bad insomnia. Sometimes, I have to take sleeping meds to go to sleep and stay asleep. However, my 6 year old would never forget his electronics before leaving the house. It's the one thing that tames his adhd. My son isn't medicated either. Yes, I’m glad you mentioned it. As soon as I saw those dark circles around her eyes, I knew she must have not been sleeping well. I have a friend who was abused by her step-father as a young lady. She said she would wear layers of underwear and wrap herself around with a lot of blankets and stay up scared that he would come into her room at any time during the night. She said she didn’t say anything to protect her little sisters, but in the end, he raped her baby sister and her mom found out through the diaper. I’m glad her mom turned him in. When my sister and 16 yr. old nephew visited me, I was surprised one morning to see them sleeping on the same roll out couch. Some mothers don't see anything wrong with this closeness, but it disturbed me because when our family would travel, my father always had her sleep with him, while my mother and I would be in another hotel room. I think the story is that he doesn't live there and hadn't been around in a while. Jen was working late that night so he went to the home for Maddie to be dropped off after her party. He was to be the one to do the school run the following morning due to Jen working late and that's why she sent them to a spare room (which apparently is on another floor) so she could sleep in. What a mess!

I wish we’d see this more often. I’m sick of people saying we all make out own choices and the parents didn’t do the crime. We ARE products of our environment, our upbringing, our parents. Think of it this way, if someone compliments a parent on their child or young adult on how well mannered they are, polite, respectful etc, the parents normally are flattered by that. Why? As a single mom of two daughters, I find it deplorable that Madeline’s mother would ever find it appropriate to direct her boyfriend to sleep in the same bed as her young daughter, or allow him to have any role in her care. Yes, I’m glad you mentioned it. As soon as I saw those dark circles around her eyes, I knew she must have not been sleeping well. I have a friend who was abused by her step-father as a young lady. She said she would wear layers of underwear and wrap herself around with a lot of blankets and stay up scared that he would come into her room at any time during the night. In my primary school, a police officer would come in and educate us on what abuse is . After the class my friend went up and told our teacher her mums friend had been abusing her . When my sister and 16 yr. old nephew visited me, I was surprised one morning to see them sleeping on the same roll out couch. Some mothers don't see anything wrong with this closeness, but it disturbed me because when our family would travel, my father always had her sleep with him, while my mother and I would be in another hotel room. Even as a child I wondered why my mother allowed that.
Maybe this happened in Jen's family, so it was familiar to her.

Then, in the dream, he is hiding under the blanket and feels it being pulled off him . He has no memories of abuse . My other friend mum never let her go on sleepovers because her sister was raped at one . Rather, be overprotective and then allow a predator to weasle their way into my life to get to my children .

I think the story is that he doesn't live there and hadn't been around in a while. Jen was working late that night so he went to the home for Maddie to be dropped off after her party. He was to be the one to do the school run the following morning due to Jen working late and that's why she sent them to a spare room (which apparently is on another floor) so she could sleep in. What a mess!

Here's the thing about the death penalty: the convicted has numerous chances to appeal, which means he could be in jail for 20+ years and then get a last minute stay of execution by a new pro-life governor. If he's in the general pop, the homies will take care of him in no time.
