Pakistani biryani and haleem is hands down the best in the world. I love it when our Pakistani friends invite us round for dinner here in the UK 🇬🇧

I would suggest that Lahore is way better for food compare to any other city in Pakistan
If you have heard of Royal Nawab restaurant in London. Their Haleem gets as good as one can get. I hope your friends make it as good, lol. Another great but still very affordable restaurant is Aadin Kebabish in Hendon, London. Its food can be a little spicy for a Lahori like me but it has very authentic Nehari etc. and is very famous especially among Karachiites in London.

Too spicy otherwise Asian food is nice and flavour some. I just don't do spicy food. I have zero tolerance to Spicy food.

I've been in Australia for just over 2 years and have lived in Pakistan before that. It was only recently when I got an Iraqi Muslim Uber driver that I was blown away by the kindness and selflessness. It almost gave me a flashback of life in Pakistan where people don't expect much and help you however they can.
I think it's the Muslim culture and you'd see that around the world in Muslim countries that still follow Islam as it is supposed to be. The West has its own qualities but one thing that's hard to find is pure hospitality and selflessness like it is let's say in Pakistan.
We share common names brother! Arsal is not a common name, it's hard to find it...

Guys its called "Markaz" (pronouced like you would say "Mer-cuz"), which basically is the word "Center" in Urdu. So Islamabad is divided into Sectors and each Sector has a centre which has all the shops, businesses, and markets, while the surrounding areas are almost all residential.
Yes indeed. Markaz means Centre ( in Arabic )
And also smaller markets in each four sub sectors too🙂

Yes, it is South Yemeni food. Originated from Hadhramaut region of South Yemen.
The meat or Chicken just melts in the mouth. Every time I visit South Yemen, I go for Mendi.

You must visit Monal restaurant in Islamabad that is on the summit from that spot you can see the entire view of the city
Some tips on navigating in Islamabad:-
always take reference from North, First orient yourself e.g from zero point. Faisal Mosque is when u are facing north, Margalla hills will be also on Noth spreading from north west to north east.
The sectors are from north downwards numbered as E,F,G,H,I, sectors a r e subdivided as 5,6,7,8,9,10,11 , if u are in F10 and you want to go to F8 you have to move to east, and if u want to go to G10 move south, it will be super easy for anybody if u just orient in this way. You will never get lost or be confused, unlike other cities where u take reference from landmarks , but in Islamabad you take reference from north and zero point. Each sector is square and subdivided in 4 subectors 1,2,3,4, like F10 center (markqz) would be a market of f10 SW part is f10-1, NW part is F10-2, NE part is F10-4 and SE part is F10-4, there are small parks and green areas in each sub sector, There are small markets , Mosque in each subsection also, Mostly all roads are running parallel so u don't get blocked even if complete sector is locked. There is a central boulevard name blue area also, which is a commercial area, Though metro system runs in the middle only it is mostly not usable for all sectors.
