i dont know what it is about this particular video ,but it was captivating the whole time. i was getting nervous tho, since the radiator was busted and no coolant in it, i was afraid yall were going to lock up the motor ..im glad it worked out..
The only good thing I can say about my experience with the L-10 in the IH 2300 Series I ran in the late 80's was that it USUALLY got me home at the end of the day.

While you guys mess with this Wes and Matt can work on installing an engine on the other excavator, and Chris can figure out how to actually use the machines LOL! Use engine dip stick to check all fluids. Works good.!!!
Willey like jumped out of his pants when thing fired up. Old cats and Cummins best motors ever built. I believe the hydraulic oil was most likely low. Great video guys.

Henry, every time I watch you start a Cummins engine, it always does. I believe this is because of the quality controls they put into place in that engine foundry. That's the reason why I believe they're better than CAT engines.

When you are pulling a tow hitch you should have 60% in front of axle center to be safe

Two things either the pump is weak or it is low on hydraulic oil 🛢 that is why the tracks are not moving or they are to loose
