I’m a native of Northern California! My paternal family has been in California since early 1800’s - ALL of my paternal ancestors are Catholics, and ALL of them are buried at Holy Cross Catholic cemeteries, Mariposa and Colma, California!!! My great grandfather - Catholic - was a San Francisco police officer for 22years. He and his colleague (also Catholic) were both killed in the line of duty November 1911. My great grandfather’s funeral was at Star of the sea Catholic Church in San Francisco. San Francisco police department has since been heavily infiltrated by the Freemasons 😖 😣 my great grandfather’s end of watch anniversary goes forgotten 😢 💔💙🖤

Thank you, Father, for speaking the truth. Here, in Melbourne, my neighbouring churches tolerate irreverant behaviour from the congregation. It is truly disappointing, and now I go church hopping to see if there is a church that suits me.
Priests as a large part are all about how fast they can do Holy Communion. Ever since derailment of Communion rails there's been a lack of reverence and accidents plus sacrilege. I suspect the rush is bishop orchestrated. Bishops start serving the Lord. Why do you countenance the rush of the Consecration? The bells, originally 3x, encouraged adoration.
You are unbalanced and need counseling.

This reminds me of a Mass for tourists in Yellowstone Nat. Park. It was held in a park amphitheater that had a covered stage of sorts made of wood. The altar was set up similarly to this, only there was no wind blowing the linens around. When the priest began the Mass, barn swallows nested on the rafters got upset, started dive-bombing the priest and altar boys. Before he got any farther, two men with rakes were recruited to stand on either side to prevent the birds from getting near the altar. One of the men, an older gentleman, got tired arms, and my Dad came forward to relieve him.
We need more priests like you. People need to hear this

I am an EM of Holy Eucharist. I feel bad that EM was not trained properly and did not learn the preciousness of Christ gift to us.
It would be extremely wonderful if we had enough Priests to cover Communion but there aren't.

My "bishop" just transferred the best priest we've had in years out of our Parish and I'm SO SAD. He is a God-fearing priest who is truly a servant of God. His replacement is an effeminate guy and my first mass with him HE GIGGLED while he was consecrating the Host!!! I was so put off and IDK what to do because it is clear (to me) he doesn't really believe that is JESUS.
That’s sad. God will purify His Church though. Have Faith! Hope!

There’s a study that says 81% of U.S. Catholics attending Mass weekly believe in the real presence of our Lord in the Holy Eucharist. Our local Novus Ordo Mass which is attended daily by about 20 people & there’s a “Eucharistic Minister” can’t help herself but jump out of her seat, parade up to the Tabernacle to remove the Seborium & proceed to help the Priest, give out Communion to the 20 congregants!
On a Sunday it’s like a circus with 3-4 of these wans almost tripping over each other at the altar & two of them going to the Tabernacle to take out the Seboria & place them on the altar. They’re just short of saying the Mass itself!!!
When I mentioned to the Priest that they were undermining his role he got annoyed & retorted that it’s great they’re helping him. He’s a young fit 60 yr old who dances down the aisle at the end of Mass.
This is just one small parish in Ireland but they’re ALL the same!!

This priest makes me think of the Apostles and martyrs whom were killed for refusing to renounce Jesus. The Catholic Church is the true Church, but the tares are intermingled with the wheat. Evil is everywhere. We should all pray that God protects us from being swallowed up by it.

TV is no substitute. Go to a NO. These Masses are not ideal but the consecration still occurs due to the words used. Still occurs even if the priest is in mortal sin. You cannot afford to be deprived of the Holy Eucharist! TV isn't going to cut it other than you getting something out of the Liturgy of the Word and the homily. Otherwise to become familiar with the TLM.

Things are going to get rough, and there will come a time where some faithful will simply not have access to the sacraments... Just read your missal, pray often and do penance. But please, don't fold and attend Novus Ordo, where laymen touch the body, blood, soul and Divinity of Our Lord with their bare hands. Not to mention all the things that they took out of the Mass, and changed.

Our obligation is to keep holy the Sabbath day. Of course, if you are able to attend a real traditional Mass, the way Jesus Christ told us, then you MUST try to attend that, because you will never make a holier offering than Christ, that is the best way to keep the Sabbath holy.
If you don't however, how exactly would attending an event where people disregard the Eucharist and take our Lord in their hands like fast food, keep the day holy? Instead, do something you can be 100% sure is going to please God. Read the missal, pray for the church and do everything you can to make the day about Him.
@@ItsTemmers The Traditional Latin Mass was established in the 1500s. Prior to that Mass was said in Greek. Jesus said mass in Aramaic. In our area there is probably one Church that does the Traditional Latin Mass. The Ordinary Form is valid too.
Gratefully in a recent story reported the following regarding belief in the real presence in The Tablet on July 16, 2024:
"Maryland-based Vinea Research released the study “Do Catholics Truly Believe in the Real Presence?” on June 3. The report found that 69% of Mass-going Catholics do believe in transubstantiation - the term that declares Jesus, in body and blood, is present in the Eucharistic."
This is very recent and, while far from perfect, is a hopeful move the right direction.
Fr. Altman, (for who knows how much longer), is a priest of the diocese of lacrosse wi. His Excellency Bishop Callahan revoked Fr. Altman's faculties to publicly preside and preach not only in lacrosse, wi, but anywhere. and is Fr. Altman obeying his Bishop? Sadly, no. It surprises me that he remains a priest. Bishop Callahan asked him two years ago to reflect on his priestly life, and ministry. Plain talk: Fr. Altman, unfortunately, has not changed one bit..
I'm waiting to see if the current La Crosse bishop does anything. Bishop Callahan recently retired.

Wow. Question. Can you give even one example of a canonized saint who promoted disobedience? The living magisterium in Rome determines regulations on liturgy and the Eucharist. It is quite bold for people to set up an alternative tribunal - the ape of the Church if you will.
The actual approved National Eucharistic congress filled almost every seat in the stadium, was in union with the Pope, and was the most reverent event ever. Accusing your spiritual fathers of evil and promoting disobedience is extremely irreverent. It seems you guys are more concerned about externals than internals. Externals can lead to internal reverence - but not always. The pharisees had external reverence without internal. We should have both. But internal is greater. And humility through obedience is how we accomplish that.

He's saying that extraordinary ministers should have never been allowed. He puts the onus squarely on the bishops and cardinals who allowed this. Your intentions, however noble, don't change the fact that the Blessed Sacrament should never be touched by unconsecrated hands. I hope you understand what he's trying to say. For too long, many Catholics have been deceived and/ or poorly catechised. The truth may sting at first, but it's something we need to hear.

Because Saint Pope Pius V issued the Papal Bull Quo Primum on 14 July 1570 in which he canonised the Roman Missal of what many now call ‘the Tridentine Mass’.

Not a true bishop so he has no authority.
Altman had his faculties removed by Bishop Calahan for disobedience. Callahan tried to work with him for a year. Altman would have no part of it. He is not allowed to preach, say mass in public, or wear vestment or dress as a priest in any way.

Thank you so much Father Altman for your helpful homily. With all that our church is going through I have no words anymore other than; may God forgive us all because what is being done to His son’s precious Body and Blood is nothing more than sacrilegious. My husband and I were extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist for a long time, possibly five years, and we could no longer take it because of the lack of respect starting with the leader, the priest. With prayer we stayed this long because we wanted to be faithful to God, because we thought we were doing the right thing! You see, I was a cradle Catholic which made it that much curious. I just didn’t think our hands should be touching him. The immediate thought was always, the priest offers 2 sometimes 4 masses per day and his hands are consecrated. As I was forming myself, this thought came to me daily. I felt so bad that God in his mercy allowed me to have a couple of experiences while giving communion. His presence was felt so strong within my soul that I began to shake and his love within me actually hurt. I wanted to scream and tell everyone that Jesus was present in that small piece of bread in body, blood, soul and divinity! It was such an amazing experience that someone close to me said; the Holy Spirit touched you didn’t he? I could see the glow on your face and you were shaking!” I continued to pray due to the warmness people there were falling under. I was (am) on fire for my Lord and didn’t want to end up loosing my faith. These couple of experiences motivated me to learn more about Eucharistic Miracles. In 2021 my husband and I took a trip to the Holy Land which helped us understand that it was time to leave that ministry. Once I understood that the proper reverence was not being given to Jesus my husband and I decided to leave the ministry. We took a trip to the Holy Land and God spoke to us loud and clear. Based on our understanding we felt that it was ok to leave that ministry, that we were not betraying him, that was our primary concern. I started to learn more about the Eucharist and came to the conclusion that only the priest should be giving us Communion, not anyone else. I understand there may be exceptions; as they call them emergencies, but even at that I do not agree! It breaks my heart to see the number of nonbelievers, the number of Catholics that do not believe in the presence of Jesus Christ! Out of mercy he has proven to me that he’s in fact there, no doubt about it. Thank you so much Fr. Altman and let us continue to pray for the Pope and the church.🙏
