A lot of priests have rich knowledge about God from university teaching, but they lack real relationship with God. Knowledge of Gos is about ‘KNOW God’. True relationship with God is about KNOW ABOUT God. So , know vs. know about…..
The truth is that in fact we have over 1000 priests like Fr. Calloway, otherwise the Church wouldn't be alive through the Holy Spirit. Thing is that they don't work behind the screen like he does nor they have his charism, which I love. I even imagine our laughing at his jokes lol. The vast majority of priests are madly in love with our Lord and our Lady. Bad news is that the minority is making a lot of noise and have a lot of follows & clicks. Also, the minority is getting to high hierarchy places and they also make noise. I've heard from a holy priest that the solution for the lack of faith and love from the priests to our Lord, will be to spend 1 hour every single day in front of the Blessed Sacrament. And that actually what our dear Fulton Sheen used to do and recommends.

It’s very sad that only 30% believe the Jesus is on the Eucharist. I took a picture to the altar the Blessed Sacrament was placed. Jesus figure appeared in the Eucharist with open arms with blood in the left side. I also lately when I received the Sacred Host in my tongue I hear it gets broken and half. It’s amazing feeling. Our Lord Jesus is alive in the Eucharist. Alleluia

Watching Fr Calloway has transformed my understanding of my Catholic faith in the past year. I’m 42 now. I was never preached to or given the understanding that he shares. I grew up in a Catholic school with the nuns. They taught us all the things you are talking about Father. I am soon to be 70 years old and have always received the body of Christ in the tongue except during the pandemic I was forced to receive it in hands. I pray and wishing to bring back the good old days on how to respect the Eucharist and the way to be quite in the church . My profound conversion 16 years ago started with a miraculous event during the Eucharistic Event in Medugorje so I have had an immense love for the Eucharist since that conversion. God intervened through our Blessed Mother to save my marriage and it would have been impossible otherwise since I had led a life of promiscuity. I am a poster child of God's Divine Mercy like Fr. I did witness that struggle with a parish priest refusing to give Holy Communion in the tongue to a parishioner during the pandemic. I asked the person after the Mass the reason why he was so adamant about receiving the Eucharist in the tongue and he said that he was used to doing it but said nothing about reverence. I like what Mother Angelica said that it is acceptable to receive Jesus either way as long it is done with full preparation and reverence before and after. I believe in the importance of receiving Jesus in the state of grace with love from the heart. We have a bigger concern of Catholics receiving Jesus not in a state of grace because of Amoris Laetitia saying that divorced, remarried without an annulment can receive Holy Communion. That is an error that opened the door to Fudicia Supplicans with the blessing of irregular couples which is an offense to God.
@@Heart_on_Fire1I don't think it's a personal preference. I do think it is about reverence whether that person said so or not. But then one abuse of the Eucharist leads to many more. And that is how we have gotten things like communion to the divorced in remarried and homosexuals.
If you like this talk, you should attend a Traditional Latin Mass. All of the safeguards he mentions to protect and love Our Lord in the Eucharist are part of the Mass.

In some churches they did! I attend one church which had Communion rail before the pandemia, another one has kneeler installed right after. Please pray for me, I'll try to rally people up ro have a kneeler in my parish.

I had a few miracles of the Holy Eucharist. It was in February 2019, on this Saturday I went confession and at first, I didnt wanr to go because of a certain priest of the parish. On the other hand I gone back to my pew. Suddenly i heard Jesus voice telling me "My daughter, please return to confession as i will be thete for you." So i went. So when Father gave me absolution, is voice change to be so strong and stern but gentle. I didnt reslize at the moment but I felt so different. I stayed for the 4PM Holy Mass. I received and the body of Jesus had fallen into my left hand. I was afraid to remove it from my hand, but then knowing that Father said it was okay, i pick up the body of Jesus's and consumed it in my mouth. My face must have turned red in embarssment because the Eucharist dropped out of my mouth. I picked it up and consumed it again. After Holy Mass I went to the Holy Water fountains and dipped my left hand in the holy water and rinse my hands. The next morning came i was up early at 5 in the morning, planning to get ready for the 10AM Mass, because I was in the Choir, so I ate breakfast, said a few prayers and turn the TV on to watch EWTN. While sitting on the couch, watching the show with Father Bob, my left hand began to itch. I couldnt understand why. I looked at my hand, abd it was pinkish color, and itchy, so i rub it again, and i look at it again, by this time, where the Eucharist had touched my hand, suddenly a Letter "J" appeared in red. It was so surprising. Under the "J," I saw Jesus face appeared. It was a veautiful moment in my life. I hope Father Callaway gets to read this. I told the same priest after Mass what occurred. He sort of brushed me off 😢 But yes it did happen. My husband even seen it too. It lasted about 3 minutes. Jesus is wonderful. I love him so.❤ Jesus has a great sense of humor. 😊 Thank you Father Donald Callaway on your beautiful homly on the Holy Eucharist. You are absolutely right 100%. God bless you. I also was refused Communion on the tongue during the pandemic. The nearest church I could find that gave on the tongue was two and a half hours away, in another State. Because I truly believeI that receiving Christ in the hand is a Sacrilege I could not receive Christ for a year, until I moved to another State. Please understand, I'm not judging anyone who did, I just feel so strongly about this that I truly felt it would be a mortal sin for ME to do it. I cried through many/most Communions that year.

My parish has been pumping out seminarians and marriages like no other since our priest started to give us adoration. We have 6 seminarians starting this fall. Also, we are the smallest parish in town.
Well, I sent my daughter to prepare for her first communion with the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Jesus, and for me it was a great pain that they only taught my daughter to receive Jesus in the Hand and not on the tongue. . And when I went to ask her, she treated me like an ignorant person who didn't know anything, for wanting my daughter to receive Jesus on the tongue.

I observed that they dressed modestly, they come on time, they all kneel down when it's time to kneel, and they receive the Host by the tongue not by the hands. I was inspired with their actions because these were the things taught to us by our Cathecists when we were small. Until now I still receive the Holy Eucharist with my tongue because I don't trust my hands, they might be contaminated with dusts.

Father Calloway, I returned to receiving our Lord on my tongue several years ago. During the pandemic, I waited until very last to receive, and the priest SCREAMED AT ME... NO! NO! NO! I sas wrecked! It wasn't my church, but where I go sometimes for Mass before work.

Father .. I'm age 76.. I live in Vancouver Wa. I go to the St. James James the Greater Cathedral... Last summer drove my wheelchair to weekday mass . Was not our paster that day... l wheeled up for communion. I put out my tongue . The priest refused. I must have looked shocked. He still held Jesus. .. The priest said then and there... " It is a mortal sin not to receive in your hand !" 😢😢😢

I'm from the Philippines. I wanted to receive my Lord through my tongue, but an extraordinary minister of the holy communion rejected my choice and forced me to receive my Lord on my hands. I'm so disappointed and angry because he doesn't have the right to reject me of my choice. Because of this I'm really planning to attend a TLM run by SSPX. 😔

Bring back the fathers that submit to Christ- the ones that beget children- and you will see Christians patiently kneel on stone to receive Christ.

In some churches they did! I attend one church which had Communion rail before the pandemia, another one has kneeler installed right after.
Please pray for me, I'll try to rally people up ro have a kneeler in my parish.

Father Don, praise to our Lord Jesus in the Holy Eucharist! I just heard your video on the revival of the Blessed Sacrament. I am 77 years old and your teaching is the teachings I was brought up with. REAL CATHOLOCISM! YES , Father Don, you are right on where so many of the hierarchy are so off! Thank you, thank you, thank you for your yes to the priest hood and for preaching God's truth. It is the sprituality that I was taught that lead me to a devotion to my precious Jesus in the Holy Eucharist that has taken me thruogh so many struggles in my life, especially the last four years as I struggle with TCell lymphoma and all I can say is GOD IS GOOD!!!
I am 89 years old and still counting, I think priests from this order where Frs. don and Chris Alar belong to, are intellectuals, God bless you all

I had a few miracles of the Holy Eucharist. It was in February 2019, on this Saturday I went confession and at first, I didnt wanr to go because of a certain priest of the parish. On the other hand I gone back to my pew. Suddenly i heard Jesus voice telling me "My daughter, please return to confession as i will be thete for you." So i went. So when Father gave me absolution, is voice change to be so strong and stern but gentle. I didnt reslize at the moment but I felt so different. I stayed for the 4PM Holy Mass. I received and the body of Jesus had fallen into my left hand. I was afraid to remove it from my hand, but then knowing that Father said it was okay, i pick up the body of Jesus's and consumed it in my mouth. My face must have turned red in embarssment because the Eucharist dropped out of my mouth. I picked it up and consumed it again. After Holy Mass I went to the Holy Water fountains and dipped my left hand in the holy water and rinse my hands. The next morning came i was up early at 5 in the morning, planning to get ready for the 10AM Mass, because I was in the Choir, so I ate breakfast, said a few prayers and turn the TV on to watch EWTN. While sitting on the couch, watching the show with Father Bob, my left hand began to itch. I couldnt understand why. I looked at my hand, abd it was pinkish color, and itchy, so i rub it again, and i look at it again, by this time, where the Eucharist had touched my hand, suddenly a Letter "J" appeared in red. It was so surprising. Under the "J," I saw Jesus face appeared. It was a veautiful moment in my life. I hope Father Callaway gets to read this. I told the same priest after Mass what occurred. He sort of brushed me off

But yes it did happen. My husband even seen it too. It lasted about 3 minutes. Jesus is wonderful. I love him so.❤ Jesus has a great sense of humor. 😊

May the Lord bless and protect Fr Calloway and other priests. Yes I agree , receiving Jesus on the tongue. I never do take on my hand. And also from lay people/ Eucharistic minsters . They shouldn't have them on the Altar. They could be in mortal sin. GOD BLESS YOU FATHER .

Amen Father. I ask my Guardian Angel to accompany me and offer up a cup of thankful adoration on my behalf. We are the envy of Angels because we can receive our Lord what gift so thankful.
Bring back our Traditions and put Jesus in the tabernacle at the altar. No wonder we lost so many souls.
I also was refused Communion on the tongue during the pandemic. The nearest church I could find that gave on the tongue was two and a half hours away, in another State. Because I truly believeI that receiving Christ in the hand is a Sacrilege I could not receive Christ for a year, until I moved to another State. Please understand, I'm not judging anyone who did, I just feel so strongly about this that I truly felt it would be a mortal sin for ME to do it. I cried through many/most Communions that year.

I went to Church today for first Friday devotion and adoration in Asuncion, PY, South America. It was beautiful. Church was almost full. This is a nation of country, family and faith. In fact is the only declared Catholic country, I think, in the whole world. Praise the Lord ❤🙏

My parish has been pumping out seminarians and marriages like no other since our priest started to give us adoration. We have 6 seminarians starting this fall. Also, we are the smallest parish in town.
Well, I sent my daughter to prepare for her first communion with the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Jesus, and for me it was a great pain that they only taught my daughter to receive Jesus in the Hand and not on the tongue. . And when I went to ask her, she treated me like an ignorant person who didn't know anything, for wanting my daughter to receive Jesus on the tongue.

Thank you so much father Calloway for this very relevant talk on the Holy Eucharist. I'm a Filipino here in Cyprus and I attended the Polish Holy Mass. I observed that they dressed modestly, they come on time, they all kneel down when it's time to kneel, and they receive the Host by the tongue not by the hands. I was inspired with their actions because these were the things taught to us by our Cathecists when we were small. Until now I still receive the Holy Eucharist with my tongue because I don't trust my hands, they might be contaminated with dusts.

Father Calloway, I returned to receiving our Lord on my tongue several years ago. During the pandemic, I waited until very last to receive, and the priest SCREAMED AT ME... NO! NO! NO! I sas wrecked! It wasn't my church, but where I go sometimes for Mass before work.

I go to the St. James James the Greater Cathedral... Last summer drove my wheelchair to weekday mass . Was not our paster that day... l wheeled up for communion. I put out my tongue .
The priest refused.
I must have looked shocked. He still held Jesus. .. The priest said then and there...

We need to pray for the Proto-Cathedral and its faithful. The persecution it has endured the last four years have been relentless. It will continue with P.I.G.

My fssp priest gave us specific instructions on how to receive communion on the tongue. I never knew these things before why were we not taught this.
I'm from the Philippines. I wanted to receive my Lord through my tongue, but an extraordinary minister of the holy communion rejected my choice and forced me to receive my Lord on my hands. I'm so disappointed and angry because he doesn't have the right to reject me of my choice. Because of this I'm really planning to attend a TLM run by SSPX. 😔

That happened to me at a funeral. I was embarrassed. Told my priest and he told the priest at the parish and Eucharistic minister was wrong . ☮️
