    Your videos make me feel like I'm studying Samurai 101: Intro to Applied Stances in college. Love it.

    Great tutorial man! Wonderful explanations and what I like best is that you're not getting into anything too complicated while explaining the basics. I know that if I were a new player to this game I'd appreciate the consideration that you showed by just explaining what each stance does in more depth than the base tutorial does. Well done!

    Your videos should be included in the game tutorial itself. Thank you so much.

    I love how the ending of this vid teases newcomers. Yes, the stance switching is a nescessary step, but unless you know how to Iai quick draw, you wont be able to do the flashy stuff at the end of the vid. Keeps the newbs coming back for more. Genius.

      Thats right! Stance switching is an important step to get into Nioh's core gameplay.

    I'm finally playing Nioh 1 and I've already seen your guides about it, but this is extremely helpful even for me because I can now see the controller pressing. Thank you so much and keep up the great work! ^^

    I have 100 hours in the game by now and I only just started learning the benefits of switching stances mid fight. Great vid.

      It certainly does! Its great to use when its hard to dodge certain attack that seems to hit you everytime (like giant body slam).

    Loving all the videos! Just a question, is there a reason why when you stance switch you go through all of the stances? Is that just out of habit I'm assuming?

    • @LasttoLoad
      @LasttoLoad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      its to trigger one of the skill called flux ll. Switching stance during a ki pulse allows you to gain extra ki up to 2 time. You can look here for more detail.

    Incredible video! I had to find your video because all the videos I watched before were Dogsh*t at explaining, You sir got the real Samurai in you! I am playing Nioh 1 so I am sure most of these principles still stand......hopefully.

    • @LasttoLoad
      @LasttoLoad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This video does apply to Nioh 1 as principles! the 1 hour guide that I have made is also compatible. Gameplay in nioh 1 and 2 is almost identical so you can transfer your experience just fine.

    This game is such an underrated gem. Smashed through Elden Ring in a couple of days no issues. Problem is the NG+ system is dogshit. Nioh 2's endgame is just top fucking tier man I just can't even. I'm so bad at stance switching and being good at this game. I mean, I can do all the content and typically just sit in low stance forever lol. Just the skill ceiling for this game seems to be intense.

    I played Nioh 1, so I expected the different stances to have different dodge ki consumption, but I tested it before and it wasn't different. Could there be a reason to that?

    • @LasttoLoad
      @LasttoLoad  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Im pretty sure that each stance have different ki cost on evasion.
      One reason could be because your weapon is sheathed. If weapon is unsheathed, the ki cost applies on each stance.

    I try to toggle through my stances by sliding my thumb over the buttons but the game doesn't pick it up. Am I doing sth wrong?

    • @LasttoLoad

      the input have to be precise. Make sure to not have most face button pressed at same time by letting go some of it.
