  • Technique Tuesday with Festive tags
Hi everyone, Jo here, thanks so much for popping in again.
Today we are going to create some festive tags. We have some many fabulous Lavinia stamps that will work really well for these. Plus have you seen we now have some wonderful watercolour tags, cuts out and ready to go.
You could even make matching cards and tags.
I think it is going to be a wonderful, handcrafted Lavinia Christmas….
So it is time for a festive brew and snack….
    Hugs
    Jo xx

Thanks Jo for today's inspiration. I definitely am going to make some tags this year. I have two neighbor girls that I give gifts to (I was blessed with two grandsons but not girls) usually books so I am using your book mark inspiration for their books and I think tags for the wrapped gifts. I am looking foreward to spending time in my craft room. From Canada 🇨🇦 Jo

Lovely ideas Jo,,, being so old we just give money now so there is no need for tags... but some cards made in the same way would be lovely 😊😍

Hi Jo! Happy holidays! Thank you for the lovely tag demos! Just what I was wanting for inspiration! I agree with Vickie....snow is like magical faerie dust! Beautiful tags and love the "dot and dab" technique with Stickles. Christine in Texas USA

Wonderful Tags Jo! I recently bought the Santa with the reindeer. You gave Me a hint of an idea for a Card. However, the reindeer feet are flat, as if They aren't flying. So I may struggle with that One. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving if you celebrate it in the UK. Much love and Hugs as always Jo. Thank you ❤️

Another comment from me today. Your elastic tip was fabulous and I shall be giving it space .on my craft table. Second, I live in Canada, in Ottawa, Ontario where I have lived my whole life. When I was a a child in the 50's, it was always very cold at Christmas and there was always plenty of snow. In the early 70's Christmas time could be green here meaning there wasn't any snow, but usually rain. So with global warming when Christmas comes around there is very little snow on the ground and the temperatures vary from -7 degrees Celsius which is pretty mild to -25 degrees Celsius which is pretty cold. However, it is seldom that we have really cold temperatures at Christmas. Canada is very large and some areas are way up North. This means it is always cold and snowy there at Christmas. I am talking about Saskatchewan where fellow crafter AmyR/prairie paper and ink is her web site lives. Alberta is also very cold during winter as are the N.W.T., and the Yukon. I hope you didn't mind a line geography lesson.

Lovely tags. I’m Australian and I have no problem with snow in scenes although it’s difficult coming up with ideas for more Australian themes. I saw one card where someone made a tree out of shells and seaweed dies. And, of course, there are seaside Santas. But I’m always looking for more ideas.

Beautiful inspiration! Side note, I live in Arkansas USA and we rarely get snow as well. But everything Christmas that I create I add it! It's magical like Fairie dust.

If you tap on the tags in Jo’s supply list (in the video description) you’ll be taken to the Lavinia site where the sizes are listed. ❤

Thanks so much for watching , I didn’t include the Santa one , just because it is the swiped background that I have shown , simple stamping and adding the moon mask….some posca splats and job done….hope that helps xx❤️
