Went to the same high school as Clyde “The Glide” Drexler. Sterling High School in South Park Houston, Texas. Clyde was special, but never got the attention he deserved. Humble guy.

That's a good point about MJ, Nique and Clyde being seen as similar players during that era. Clyde actually made it to the finals before MJ did. In retrospect things can always seem fated to happen, or preordained, but things don't really work that way. I think Mj's defense probably set him apart from the other 2, but there was a time when it was closer than people might remember.
yup, back then we really didn't know who would come out on top. There were fans of all 3 guys and until MJ started winning rings the debate was always on

hey man getting a sponsor is a big milestone and typically something to be proud of. I think the only qualifier is that in my opinion a channel promoting a sponsor should actually use and enjoy the product/service in question.

Appreciate these videos Mindcrime! While I am a fan of old school basketball I am a prisoner of sticking to Jordan games so I am not as familiar with other greats. Watching your videos and others legit makes me angrier about JJ reddick giving all these LeStans the "plumbers and firefighters" line 1. It's so disrespectful and 2 plumbers and firefighters are far more important to society than basketball players. What about doing a video on Tommy Heinsohn? I only know him as a commentator and he was hilarious lol

Its a cryin shame that when Clyde did the foul line dunk during the slam dunk contest, the camera only showed a front view, coming at the basket. Jordan's foul line dunk was a side view.....a dunk of beauty. Clyde didnt get that same respect unfortunately, but more importantly, the fans missed out on a possible incredible foul line dunk.

And yeah, “hang time” is a myth - you cannot defy gravity no matter what you do :) Michael Jordan’s “Hang Time” is an illusion… he’s able to continue shooting or maneuvering (using amazing upper body strength) beyond the apogee and on his way down… like a BLACK CAT?! So, the effort seems like he’s up there longer.

Clyde was good, he was no Jordan though! But he and the Rockets along with rookie sam cassell did secure the 2 chips after Jordans first retirement.

Clyde is definitely a top 5 SG! It's MJ is the greatest SG, then Kobe and in no order since it's very close, Wade, Clyde, and Jerry West.
I'm from Switzerland and I got into basketball in 1993 because I saw the final between the Chigaco Bulls and the Phoenix Suns and I immediately fell in love. Still one of the best NBA finals for me. To this day, the Suns are my favorite team and Charles Barkley really impressed me a lot. Have you dit a reaction to the 1993 final?
The Phoenix Suns are the oldes franchise, to have never won a title. It's about time.

These are the guys that in my opinien the most people are downgrading simply because of one guy and that my friends is mj clyde is one of these guys that got not a chance to win at greatest stage of basketball simply because mj and the bulls didnt allowe it .... its simply sad that because of that lbj fans are downgrading them because of this
