This moment was so surreal to me. I spent the last 20+ years listening to Breaking Benjamin and always wanted to see them perform live. Everyone has a band that really speaks to them and this is mine. Taking this camera angles perspective into account, I was probably standing 20 feet or so to the left from this view. Singing every word to every song and yelling it loud. I stood for 8 hours in one spot as close to the front as I could get so I could see them up close. Pretty sure most of all the people in front of me were there for slipknot mainly. This was my first ever rock concert and I will never forget it.
SAME FOR ME!! They can't make a bad song! This was also my first concert but I made it to the crowd in the middle of Failure but wiggled my way up close. It was an amazing performance! By the time it ended I had lost my voice by singing and screaming. I hope they come back next year! I know how to play 10 songs off this set list. Definitely an experience that I'll cherish forever
That’s how I felt with A7X and they were also my first concert, listened to them for over a decade, and it was fucking incredible man. Glad you were able to experience the same!!
7:56 the fact that they can joke around and laugh while playing this well and on time shows how legendary they are. They've been doing this for a long time its like second nature to them.
that's why they're called backing tracks buddy. if you believe he's actually singing without AT LEAST some sort of pitch correction then i have a bridge to sell you
@@hughneutron5303I’ve seen them live 3 times. As someone who is adamantly against backing tracks live, it seems pretty obvious to me that Ben doesn’t use them just by the fact he doesn’t always sound great. There’s pitchiness sometimes and his voice isn’t always on point, which is awesome! Way better than him faking it. I would be pretty surprised if they used backing tracks especially since they have two other vocalists as well.
This was my 4th time seeing Breaking Benjamin live, and i absolutely have to say this is the best Ben has sounded in the past couple years. Im so proud of how far hes comes, this band and their entire discography has gotten me through the worst parts of my life, i ran to the front hours before they started and sang out every word. Theyre so amazing, and so inspirational, at 21 years old im happy to say that for my entire life ive been listening to their music. From diapers to demonias

@@celticspats5548 They had Angels Fall on the setlist for a looong time. There's probably a video somewhere on here. I'd post mine but I don't think you wanna hear me singing along 😂😂
My highlight of the weekend! Breaking Ben was the main reason I've traveled all the way from Belgium (Europe) to Welcome To Rockville. I'm glad it was so worth it. Hope to see them again soon
Well done man! Due to Ben's fear of flying, chances of seeing them overseas anytime soon are pretty low. And true, the band is in great shape, I saw them a month ago and their show was off the chain!! 🤘🤘
@@Dom-tf3xc wait, they legit still only do bus tours around the us mainly, routes to mexico and canada only...wild yet they still are best among many even without the global touring
Wow, that was a sick show. The intro is legendary. This band is legendary, and incomprehensibly unique in my opinion. So raw too. You can tell they all have a true passion with, and connection to music, and they use it as an outlet.
Absolutely thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I was on the way back from bad omens and missed failure, 100% one of my favorite tracks Was so sad that they opened with that and I couldn't get good video
Oh wow! I didn't notice it but I was trying not to be crushed by the overweight crowd surfers. They were brutal on that last song, lol. One after another.
The booze has a way of doing that. Lots of guys get off it and lose their voice for awhile, then (with recovery and training) it comes back strong as ever.
@Stagnant_Gravy I saw them in 2015? The tour they did when dark before dawn released I believe? It was an acoustic tour but he sounded great and the entire set was great. Sucks to hear him like this but age will get ya. (And vices)
Kieth really makes the vocals man. His voice is spot on. Ben gets a bit off sometimes. I noticed when not playing guitar it's better. That's shit is hard to play and sing. Like two seperate brains going. Sounds great tho
I have seen them six times since the release of Ember. It's time for some new music damnit!!!!!! Also, I'm so glad they have put Evil Angel in their setlist the last few hours. Like this if you agree 😝
thanks so much for sharing this video! I didn't get to make it to the last day of WTR due to absolute exhaustion from the other 4 days. Sadly, I missed it in person but watching this video was an even better view because I'm so short. lol Awesome video and wtf was that a comet in the sky?
Yeah, I'm not sure why it sounds off on this recording but live it sounds like studio quality. It could be someone close to the camera singing out of tune as everyone around me was singing and I couldnt hear them over the music until I replayed video footage from my phone.
I first heard bb when I was 9. I’m 30 now and even though I’m not a HUGE fan, he sounds very fucking good especially knowing how active BB has been with touring.
I actually disagree. For one he's singing songs he doesn't usually sing live anymore. And he's also hitting most of the notes while doing so. Add that to the fact that they've been touring almost non stop and he is doing very well.

BB is 10x better live than on the radio. Most people don't realize how heavy their music really is.

I love that they played Blow Me Away. Wish there was some Halo images on the big screen, but that would probably cost a lot
I want to see them live so bad.
The fact that a shooting star happens during a Breaking Benjamin concert, proves that these guys are not only angels, but gods ❤️
Ben sounds the best he has sounded since Dark Before Dawn. I wish the best for that man❤.

The beginning of So Cold sounded great.

He’s been bad live for a while because of recovering from alcoholism. Much better than pre-covid at least.

His vocals sound so bad now. I’m glad I saw them when they first came out. The band sounds incredible but Ben’s voice isn’t the same

Ben sounds terrible. This incarnation of the band is weak.
