Man... how sad it was to play this game, you know? I mean, you were fighting, making enemies, friends, but in the end you knew how this was gonna end. What was going to be Victor's fate. We didn't think he was going to be a great character when we saw the death of "Lance's brother" in Vice City. Because Martinez was right: Vic was a good guy playing in a bad guys game. And this ending, you can relate a lot with the VC one. Both, Tommy and Vic were by themselves fighting alone with a lot of guys. And with the only objective of killing a sudden traitor, Lance and Diego, and seek revenge with the one who started all the suffering and problems, Sonny and Martinez... So yeah. What an underrated character. One of the best ones, actually

+Terry Morgan I think the reason people get upset with Tommy and not Vic is because in Vice City Lance got Tommy into trouble maybe once or twice (not counting the last mission) whereas in Vice City Stories Lance screws Victor and his empire at almost every turn so Vic has more of a reason to mistreat Lance.
I am begging Rockstar Games so badly to port this game also to Android/iOS , because this was just my favourite GTA of all time it was soo perfect, From the music to the stunning sunsets, awesome story and fun characters which just gave me an awesome feeling which i didnt have in any GTA before , please Rockstar Games.

But in VC stories everything starts very hopeful,bright & got you that feeling of happy end, but then Vic's wife died, & both brothers died 2 years later, & if you played Vice City before stories & you know whatever you do - it wont change a thing, so depressing, even with all funny missions, shiny colours & happy music.
FACT: In the beta version of VCS, Armando Mendez was supposed to survive "light my pyre" mission, and you had to kill him in Last Stand, along with Jerry and Diego. But wait... The guy in the chopper at 6:51 looks like him! o.O
I'm not sure about the model, but I guess it IS Armando (even though he's dead :P). If so, then R* could've got lazy and used it as the helicopter's pilot rather than replacing him. I might be wrong though.

Louise's death was the moment I realized that Rockstar was full of shit when they said it was Vic who died in the opening of Vice City. No way he'd be back in the drug trade especially after Louise died. In my opinion, it was Pete who was killed, even Vic told Diaz he's done. After Louise dies, Vic was done with Drugs, done with Lance, done with Vice City.
@@SardonicJosh Here's my theory. Vic kept his word since day one, but two years later, Lance made a deal behind Vic's back and Vic now has to clean the mess Lance made. So the brothers traveled back to Vice to pretend they're Colombian dealers, hence the accent Vic was feigning. That's the best theory to keep Vic in character.
The guy killed in 7:04 is Diego(not to be confused with Diego Mendez) from mission High Wires, you know the mission when we have to collect two cocaine containers and save his ass from bikers.
This is the highest form of nostalgia for me....I remember doing these missions. It was late evening and I completed it after being tired asf....I also remember when I was on a flight and my PSP charge dropping to zero and I just managed to finish the mission From Zero to Hero and I flew my first helicopter in a video game, the little willie. Damn I miss those times
This GTA is absolute gold!! Personally, I like this much more than classic Vice city and GTA IV (no hate included). Dialogues in this game are hillarious as fuck. Sergeant Martinez is my favorite 3D era antagonist. I would even say he’s even up there with Dimitri Rascalov for best GTA antagonist.

Am I the only one who wonders why the building wasn't totally wrecked from the inside? I mean he shot at it with a fucking Hunter (Apache in real life)! The office walls and equipment are still intact! There should've been debris and spent bullets and bullet holes everywhere! That would've been a nice touch.
