I love your hair 😍. I have the revlon version of this brush. I use to love this tool but after using it for over a year using it 1ce a week it did so much damage to my hair. It fried my ends. So I chopped off all the damaged ends and bought the airwrap from dyson. Been using it so far for 2 months and my god what a difference. I see why they charge so much. How ever it’s not for everyone’s hair type tho in my opinion.
Girl, i think you definitely need to gt your hands on a kardoune, i'ts a piece of fabric that you can find on amazon that you wrap around your hair to protect it and keep it straight, you can also wear it during the day since it's not getting in the way, very useful as a mom
I like that you mention loving your blowout without being bone straight/pressed. Rocking the fullness is definitely a vibe 😎. I began doing that about 2yrs ago and was surprised how long my hair stays straight. About 3 weeks and all I do is comb, oil, and bun at night. I blow it out now about every 3 months. No heat damage.
Wo every night when it’s like this you put oil in it and go to sleep? What oil do you use? And doesn’t it get to heavy after a couple of days of you use the oil everyday?
@@SummerCurl Great question, because all oils are not the same. I use Melanin Haircare Multi-Use Pure Oil Blend and an oil that my stylist sells in her salon (she makes it, so no brand name yet). Both are light oils. H2PRO Beautylife Professional Marula Oil is nice as well. I put a quarter size amount in my palm, rub my hands together to warm it up, and apply to the ends of my hair mainly. When I see flakes on my scalp a little oil directly on my scalp or even dry shampoo helps me stretch my blowout w/o build up. I used to use Jamaican Black Castor oil on my edges and thought it would work on the full length of my hair when straightened, but it's too thick and weighty. Same with Dabur Amla Hair Oil. Both are great products, but I can't use them for every style. When my hair is curly, I apply heavier oils, creams, moisturizers, and gels so build up happens faster. For that reason, I shampoo once a week when curly.

I prefer it, because my hair used to get tangled in round brush designs. I just was never good with those 😅. Yep, can vouch for this. I have been using this for almost 2 year. It really is beginner friendly and the amount of time you save compared to using a hairdryer. I mean yes hairdryer is better, but you need skills which not everybody have.
I seen a video a couple months ago (cannot remember the name for the life of me) that says this type of blow dryer still does a decent amount of heat damage based on the heat level you choose & how often.
I have that same dryer based on your recommendation, but I'm just realizing that mine doesn't get as hot as yours appears to. I still have to flat iron to get that silky look. I use the blow dry cream as well.

Thanks for the tip on the Sheamoisture product. I was searching for something to use while blow drying. I blow dry maybe once or twice per year,and some years none at all. I have very little patience for tools,except on vacations if I'm using the pool. I didn't understand about the round brush capability, so I stored mine away( an old version from maybe 2009 or 2010. This device requires that you have the time, some minimum skill and the patience that any regular brush blow dry would require. It will not do miracles in terms of time spent. Slightly easier than the regular brush.
