Hey Brad, I know you already did a how to video on dying hair, but can you do one specifically for curly/coily hair? I'm thinking about dying my hair soon and I feel like I trust your channel the most for hair how-to's 😅
In case if he doesn't. Don't wash your hair the day b4 dying it. I part my hair into sections and twist those sections up so that it can be a little stretched and easier to deal with when time to get started. If you're bleaching first, when starting on the first section, part the hair and apply the bleach dye to the hair on each part, (not on the roots until after you've applied to the rest of the hair) Place bag or plastic shower cap on hair, while waiting between 20-40 mins, check on your hair from time to time to see how your hair is looking, if you're content with how it looks between the 20-40 mins time-frame then, rinse the dye out your hair thoroughly. Then, section your hair again in 4 sections or however many you had the 1st time and apply the bleach dye to the roots on each part in that section of hair, ect. Place the shower cap/bag on the hair and wait 20-40 mins again and check on your roots from time to time. Then after, rinse the dye out and use a toner if you're gonna go that route (follow the directions regarding that, I don't use a toner cuz I like how the bleach look, looks) then rinse out the toner. Wash your hair with regular shampoo and a deep conditioner OR if you can do a protein treatment definitely do that right after rinsing out the bleach/toner. Hey Brad, I know you already did a how to video on dying hair, but can you do one specifically for curly/coily hair? I'm thinking about dying my hair soon and I feel like I trust your channel the most for hair how-to's 😅
In case if he doesn't. Don't wash your hair the day b4 dying it. I part my hair into sections and twist those sections up so that it can be a little stretched and easier to deal with when time to get started. If you're bleaching first, when starting on the first section, part the hair and apply the bleach dye to the hair on each part, (not on the roots until after you've applied to the rest of the hair) Place bag or plastic shower cap on hair, while waiting between 20-40 mins, check on your hair from time to time to see how your hair is looking, if you're content with how it looks between the 20-40 mins time-frame then, rinse the dye out your hair thoroughly. Then, section your hair again in 4 sections or however many you had the 1st time and apply the bleach dye to the roots on each part in that section of hair, ect. Place the shower cap/bag on the hair and wait 20-40 mins again and check on your roots from time to time. Then after, rinse the dye out and use a toner if you're gonna go that route (follow the directions regarding that, I don't use a toner cuz I like how the bleach look, looks) then rinse out the toner. Wash your hair with regular shampoo and a deep conditioner OR if you can do a protein treatment definitely do that right after rinsing out the bleach/toner.
