A correction: Tuen Mun South station is now in the detailed design phase. It will be an elevated station instead of underground. Also, more new lines are now on the government's newest proposal and some previously proposed lines are cancelled, because Policy Address 2021 is already published recently by the HKSAR Government in October 2021. Hope these information helped.
Even if all the proposed extensions were built, there would still be no HKUST station, sigh…… Granted, it would be extremely expensive to build a station there as well as upgrade Po Lam station if there were plans to extend the TKO line there
I had an idea for a line called the east island line, from tiu keng leng to Wong Cheuk hang, it will pass by Tsuen Kwan o, Lohas park, lohas park south, siu sai wan, chai wan, big wave bay, shek o, red hill, Stanley, repluse bay, deep water bay and ocean park, tiu keng leng, tsuen Kwan o, chai wan, ocean park and wong Chuk hang will become interchange stations, lohas park will no longer be part of tsuen kwan o station so we can remove the branch line, as for how it will interchange will chai wan, a new platform could be built above the current one or similar to central and Hong Kong station but instead it’s just one station, don’t think the MTR will ever build this in the near future, but it’s just an idea.
Actually, they should lengthen all the South Island Line East platforms to 9 cars, then merge the line to the newly extended East Rail line. Then the new South Island line will run from HKU or Kennedy Town to Wong Chuk Hang.
I Hope the Northern Line did get built (In a form of a *Monorail Line) since the KMB Rte 77K Yuen Long West (which uses Metro-Cammell-Weymann Metrobuses) was abolished due to lacking of funds And I also hope the Airport Express gets a Light rail branch line to the New Territories for Residents *The Monorails of Hong Kong (Lai Chi Kok Amusement Park and Kai Tak Amusement Park) If the Kai Tak monorail did get built it would remind the older generation of the Old amusement park monorail that operated there previously

Please do link your source. If you can find me any documentation on some of your more "ambitious" proposals then please do tell me, I'll make amends. I've never heard of any proposals for lines in Stanley, Shek O, Heung Yuen Wai, Sai Kung and Nai Chung. You've commented like 3 times on my videos now but you still haven't replied back to my replies but I'll try again asking what I always ask. Where did you get these proposals from? What is your source?

Also there is a station planned to be built near Science Park between University and Tai Po Market on the East Rail Line.
If that happens, it would be very convenient for our area XD

Good idea but lohas park doesn't need 2 stations. Also maybe no need for red hill
Red hill development?
Plus: 1:30
The Tuen Ma Line will connect the West Rail Line and Tuen Ma Line Phase 1, not Ma On Shan Line.
you guys should definitely make a separate video about the extensions that opened since the making of this video !
I'm going from Central to Po Lam MTR Station every day.👍

Oops!
The proposed South Island West Line should be an extension of the Island Line.
Actually, they should lengthen all the South Island Line East platforms to 9 cars, then merge the line to the newly extended East Rail line. Then the new South Island line will run from HKU or Kennedy Town to Wong Chuk Hang.

The MTR announced the Northern Link however no branch to Lok Ma Chau.
Tuen Mun - Tsuen Wan Coastal Line is should be an extension of Tsuen Wan line.
Hong Kong wants express trains, direct transit trains
Correction: ‘Fan Ling’ should be ‘Fanling’.
5:15 about the east Kowloon, it should be Shun Tin, not Sun Tin, because the Chinese word is 順天 right?
It can be spelt either way, it depends on how you romanize it
If I can private message you, I could’ve tell you why I say that

Nice vid! It is very interesting
I’ve always wanted a Sai Kung line but it probably won’t exist
Would be better if you used a geographic map in the video, but still, great video 😊
what do you mean?
he edited so hard one this, why do not you thank him?
Combine Kwun Tong Line with the South Island Line
what why
Because the proposed Shatin to Central link will end at Central.
We need a new mtr narrow gauge line for repulse bay

There is also the Siu Ho Wan depot development which would add another stop between Yan O and Tung Chung East.
Yes, although I didn't mention it specifically, I talked about it in the WEL at 6:54
Hung Shui Kiu is already ready to be built

the new one will experiment with new railway technology
on the thumbnail the proper Chinese terminology for “extensions” should be 延線 instead of 延期
Fixed!

Better to extend Tung Chung Line and merge with TKO line.
I agree. If Exhibition Centre station, a station very close to Wan Chai station, is being built, then might as well have the North Island Line.
