No question that the IBM is the TOUGHEST creature to go against. I mean, you can tell they put a lot of thought into the whole thing. My top three picks would be:
1. IBM (Medium and Whoa)
2. Mantis (Whoa)
3. Wasp Queen (She's just more annoying than anything lol)
I wanted to put down the Infected Wolf Spider on Whoa, but I think it just comes down to luck most of the time. If it hits you continuously with its explosions, it's almost too difficult. For me at least.
after getting in some significant playtime i'm able to take ladybugs early game with just peblet hammer and weevil shield on Whoa.
Idk why everybody says infected wolf spider is so difficult. Once I started killing wolf spiders without trouble, infected ones were barely a step up
ikr, I think the bug difference is its explosive attacks that are unblockable
The worst thing is that you get used to fast parying And you sometimes have trouble blocking broodmothers attacks

It's probably because of their 3 hit attack, every hit causes explosions that are unblockable and on woah pretty much always does 100% of your health.
That makes it pretty much just about whether they decide to use it or not. If they do, you die. If they don't, no problem
Meaty gnat not being above a LAWN MITE is HORRENDOUS. “The Greatest Gas”? “The Stoic Stench”? The latent abilities of gnats were unlocked through gnat scholar research into the winding runic depths of the trashcans! HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW THIS?!?

Honestly I'm surprised wolf spiders are this high up on the list, soon as a new run starts you can:
1. Get a pebblet axe
2. Jump straight down the red anthill to grab the rotten bee set (and I guess quartzite, marble and the tech chip)
3. Get the Granola bars from the field station, run to the oak tree, and proceed to obliterate them with a pebblet axe.
(also I'd rate wasp queen as the worst because of how many drones there are on woah)

The orb weaver jr creature card is mixed with the orb weaver. Orb weaver has longer fangs. Orb weaver jr has a larger head and eyes.

the shield trinket from the bin place where the wasp queen is helps with the infected broodmother fight
Reminder for the wolf spider, these little shits have abysmal path finding and collision detection, so they get stock on literally anything. Use that to your advantage.
black widow is not weak to generic... its literally not weak to anything, but its weakest damage type is stabbing because it only resists it by 25% instead of 50% like everything else (or sour which is resisted at 75%)
Meh it doesn't change anything, and that's gotta eh a recent change because for ages it was generic that was slightly better to use the anything else
Honestly missed opportunity to not make the black widow weak to sour, there’s literally like 5 bugs in the game weak to sour and Half of them you can’t even get sour weapons at the part of the game u find them in.. ( I know they’re probably saving bugs weak to sour for the next few updates but still )

i beat the broodmother with a red ant club and it around 40 tries in my first grounded playthrough

people actually struggle with wolf spiders more than ladybird larva?
Full Antlion + Mints/Mint-mutation and Ladybird Larva become only a little more annoying than regular Larva. The only place I found them to be super difficult was in their nest where there are like 30 of them all packed in and ready to eat you.
I was about to say, “no way wolf spiders are harder than some of the stuff in b tier.” Me an my friend beat a wolf spider with a 3 pebblet axes each on whoa
Why would you struggle againist lady bird larva or wolf spiders? You can easily kill lady bug larva with a club, mace club being the best

I know the two weakest bosses the assistant manager and shmecter use a fully yoked sour weapon with shmecter

Spiderlings and mites irritate the snot out of me
Not because they're hard to defeat, but because they're typically in groups, and always seem to attack when I'm going after a bigger critter, such as a Bombardier Beetle
How to kill broodmother:get a level 9 coaltana or 7 and get some heal stuff like healbasas and smoothies
Once you get a rusty weapon, many of the S tier enemies can become significantly easier. A fully-stacked rust passive on an enemy makes them practically impotent.
Roly poly can can wasps easily besides the drone probably solo them too but they both heal so I help the roly poly out, yes I use bug to fight
The things I mostly hate are the black ox, beetle, infected wolf spider, and the wasp drone. Those things are just so hard to beat the infected wolf. Spider probably takes the cake.
i only find the wasp drone difficult from this list
The first time I killed a stink bug I used the one near the red ant hill so the red ants killed then as well

whats the difference between wasps and wasp drones? I can beat both of them easily without telling the difference
The drones never melee sting you, they always shoot venom or scream to heal their allies (and themselves), that's the huge difference

After just beating the game in 2024, as of the current balance, I find the Wasp Drones to be the absolute WORST enemies in the game! Not because they're hard, mind you, in fact their attacks are pretty easy to parry, but because they're ANNOYING! They rarely ever fly low enough for you to hit them, then they just fly a bit higher and do their healing scream! Just like wasps IRL, I HATE those MFers!

My changes: broodmother in the same tier as black widow, since the broodmother is really fast and dangerous in phase 4 if unprepared, also you forgot to rank the ladybug, which would go in a tier below the ladybird, mant in the same tier as assistant manager, assistant manager should go into a lower tier than the broodmother , as the assistant manager is hardly a threat since it literally cannot attack you directly, making him essentially harmless once you know how to deal with his traps and backup
this vid is old the black widows got nerfed, and the broodmother got a massive buff. she should be even stronger than them by a long shot now
@@4amfloatzz the black widows did NOT get nerfed. I fought both recently and the broodmother isn't threatening until phase 4 where it has the attack speed of the infected wolf spider , the black widow now, has the same attack speed as the infected wolf spider, but can now gain attack speed buffs making it attack nearly twice as fast. There is very little comparison between the two now considering the black widow can buff itself

The thing that confuses me is why the ladybug is listed as a higher tier than the ladybird which is the upgraded version.
It's all about when you furts encounter it and what stage of gane you are, by time you meet a ladybird you might already have fill tier 3 armor decent weapons and heals, but taking on a ladybug in early days is pretty tough, and back in day they were super tanky and tough

The thing is with the mosquitoes for me is that ive killed them so much that they serve no challenge( i have over 1100 mosquito kills in my world and about 700 tiger mosquitoes)

The gnats are just annoying as f*** to kill bro like I shots them while their sitting still and they move the second that I shoot
if you are unlucky enough to get hit by the 3 combo explosive atack of the wolf spider and you re not having heavy armor on you you re pretty much dead tbh(on woah mode) and for me personally on woah mode i find the wasp queen the most annoying boss fight ever i prefer to fight the IBM anytime without a problem anything but the wasp queen lol

you do know theres a tier 2 and a tier 3 bow (insect and wasp queen bow)
also heres the actual best weapons:

This was incredibly painful to watch. Every fight you showed here was some of the worst footage I've seen. No one should trust this list because literally every bug would be S tier when you can't even parry 90% of their attacks 🤦
