Hello 👋 I don’t use headsets often since I enjoy my surround sound system. But if I do I’m still using my PS4 gold wireless headset. I do know that a lot of people love the PS5 pulse 3d headset. So can’t go wrong with that 😊
great comparison video! but is the PS5 Pro pricing accurate for the slight improvements it gives! I can clearly see the better graphics and I would upgrade, but imo it's just too expensive for only the slightest of improvements. Maybe if it ever drops in price! :D
Thank you so much! 😎 The difference really is just the cherry on top and doesn't make the regular PS5 worse. PS5 delivers great graphics by itself already. This is for the enthusiasts who nit pick every pixel and go all the way to a 4090 in the PC space for maximum details at all costs. Cool but for more sales a price drop would be nice. We are after all beta testing PSSR for the PS6 😅
How close do you sit to your TV? And how big is your TV? People say that screens below 65inches and sitting more than 2.5meters, you will not notice the differences
@@giacintorenta7579 I have an 65 inch TV and I sit around 1,5 to 2 meters away from the screen. I’m playing FFVII rebirth right now and the new pro mode is really beautiful paired with 60fps. Definitely can see all the little details including pores of the skin of the characters faces 🙂
@ that’s cheating a bit! 1.5-2m is unlikely in a normal living room. The closest would be like in my case 2.4m-2.5m -> if you push out the couch can you still see the details?
@ Now you made me curious and I actually got my tape measure out 😂 I was bad at guessing before, my seating position on the couch is actually 2,7 meters away from the screen. I wouldn’t want to be further away since we buy big TVs to have a big picture 😁 So I can confirm that at 2,7 m you can still see the difference. Of course as a gamer you need to care about these details and I know some who really don’t. But we enthusiasts do and it is cool 😎
@@SamDansCouchthat’s great. Thank you for checking. GT7 update might push me to PS5 Pro + another try at PSVR2. Instead of upgrading my Sonos Arc to Arc Ultra. :-)
14:46 I have 90” screen but ‼️Pro costing 80% more for 15% noticeable real world difference🤦♂️ (depending on game) math doesn’t add up‼️ if they would have reduced slim price $350 & released Pro at $500 as is (upgraded mid Generation digital console no stand) I would have accepted that and bought it right away (I been PlayStation gamer since 1996) but this is a blatant Sony cash grab of their fans while using buyers as “Beta testers for pssr & ai upscaling to be fully integrated in PS6 releasing in 3-4yrs, 👍👍video
Hello @bartjeyeyo 👋 The price is definitely steep and not subsidized at all any more like it used to be. Gonna have to see what the PS6 will costs us in a few years.
Good job my friend. Considering the price difference between the base model and the pro version, there will of course be improvements in terms of graphics but in my opinion for this much graphic improvements the pro version is overpriced. Furthermore, standard version is already giving enough quality in performance mode if you think of games such as TLOU Part 2, GOW Ragnarok, Spider Man 2 etc... In other words, as soon as the studios develop games with this much graphics I would not think of buying the pro version. I believe that Sony have not yet released games that would show standard version's full power.
Hello @harunsenkardes9107 👋Thank you so much 🙂I totally agree, the price is very very steep and that there is so much potential that hasn't been utilized yet even at the base PS5. I just looked at Demon Souls and it looks absolutely amazing. I wish all PS5 games released today would look like that. Developers need to get more time to optimize their games just like the first party studios do. Right now the Pro can brute force some unoptimized games to run better (hello Elden Ring). PSSR is a great tool but again developers need to use it properly. Jedi Fallen Order is not in a good state and I wanted to get Silent Hill 2 but after the reports about how horrible it runs right now, I am going to wait for patch day 🙃 I am eagerly awaiting GT7 which is still not out with their pro patch. But I guess better late than releasing a buggy update.
@@giacintorenta7579 I can’t wait for the GT7 update. Supposedly comes out this week, fingers crossed 🤞Mura hasn’t really been an issue for me with VR2 and things like that usually bother me easily. I’ll take a good look at it all once the update drops 🙂
@ maybe I had bad luck with my PSVR2 headset. Might try again during Black Friday. Ps is PS5 Pro a material step up for PSVR2 with and without specific patches?
@@giacintorenta7579 I’m sorry you are having mura issues. I did notice that the screens of my VR2 headset actually looked clearer when I use the PC adapter for Steam VR. So it may depend on the game too. PC also doesn’t support HDR yet so maybe that can bring out mura more too. I’ll definitely check out GT7 when the update is released and look out for any bad mura on my headset too. As for the PS5 Pro and VR2: I don’t think its worth it for regular VR2 games alone, dynamic resolution is on the high side with the Pro and actually already makes the unpatched GT7 look better but it wasn’t that much different to me that I felt the need to mention it, especially since there will be a real Pro update out soon. It’s subtle almost like the PS4 enhancement mode. But Pro updates for VR2 seem to be coming in slowly, so if a VR2 game is Pro optimised then I think it is worth it. Like Kayak VR, though not much of a game, looks really good with its high res mode.
Having a PS5 Pro and PS 5 Slim let me tell you that on an OLED 1440p LG Monitor (27 inch GS) the difference is not noticed as all. The Pro gives you and overall more "clear" picture. The difference it's bigger on my OLED 65 inch LG TV. From performance point of view, well... there is the biggest different on both, the monitor and TV. From my point, the PS5 Slim could do the same on a 1440p monitor like the PS5 Pro on 4k. From my point, the ps5 renders games in 1440p but does not take any other advantages because you are putting it to a lower resolution. For me, this is a waste from Sony and pushing people to buy the Pro. Am I happy with the purchase? Yes. Do I think it deservers the price increase without a blu-ray player and stand etc? No! I would not think the price it's justified even if the stand and the disk would have been included in the price. PS: Black Myth Wu-Kong runs smoother on fidelity mode on the PRO. Or at least this is my impression. I hope they will do an update for it, but for the games that I tried, beside most of the ones you mentioned here, I thought to mention this one.
@@b0shica Hello 👋 Thank you for sharing your experience. It should have come with all the extras for the price tag. You’ll definitely benefit the most from it with a big 4K screen. And it shines most with pro optimized games of course. Good to see though that boost mode also works as intended as games like Wo Kong runs better. Right now I’m playing FFVII rebirth and the image is super pristine. Glad I get to finish playing it on the Pro 🥳
tbf to add 1tb of storage alone is $100
it absolutely does not. Sony is not paying consumer prices.
I want 60 fps, couldn’t care about the graphics uppgrade.
Looking forward to watch this when I am back from work
I hope you had a good day at work and can relax when you are back with our favorite hobby! 😎
I'm so happy I sold my og ps5 for the pro 😊loving it😊
Hello 😊 I’m glad you are enjoying your PS5 Pro. What game are you currently playing on it? I got back into playing FFVII rebirth lately.
@SamDansCouch thanks bro I was on black ops 6 until I started metro awakening vr last night on psvr2 and im blown away
@ Nice 👍 I am really curious about Metro VR too. Haven’t gotten it yet 🙂
@SamDansCouch bro I started playing it last night and wow I'm blown away this is the best vr game I ever played 10/10
Yup!
What kind of gaming headset 🎧 with the PS5 (Pro) do you use, if i may ask 🤔

Bad investment, bad deal. It seems sony wants to much money for a product that offers less than my base ps5 (disc drive, stand😂)
