Why do these youtubers always mention this car to be in 19-20 lakhs budget but always chose the top model to show in their videos. These guys should be more transparent.
Highly confused between Thar Roxx 4x4 and XUV 7OO AWD. If we need hardcore 4x4, we need to trade off comfort (seat comfort are average) and cubby holes. But, if we trade off hardcore 4x4 (and auto-dimming IRVM), we get more comfort, proven car (as it has been in market for 3 years now), lots of cubby holes and more space. Also, there is a possibility that XUV 7OO will be dated in a year time as and when facelift comes. Which will be your pick? We’ll use the car for interstate driving and off the road tracks (not off-roading), if we have a 4x4 we might just love to venture into unexplored territory. Also, does XUV 7OO have better NVH when compared to Roxx?
I think if it needs to be the primary car then definitely XUV7OO will be the better choice. The thar roxx is more plush then ever but still it wouldn’t match the comforting experience of the XUV7OO. Also your concern for the facelift is valid which will be due in 2026!
Go for xuv700...I drove the FWD offroad in extremely muddy and potholes situation it easily glided through the obstacles(6 people in the car and with luggage 50 50 last row split)..AWD would be even better!..talking about it's facelift next year the prices of topend will increase 1.5 to 2L because it will get tons of additional features like triple screen 12 inch..co passenger memory seats..paddle shifters..electronic boot..ambient light etc which will make it one segment above roxx 4x4.
Mahindra seems to have paid heavily to all auto channels to promote the XUV to clear the stock! Floods of video promoting XUV over the last 15-20 days! Not expected from Ashish atleast..

My friend took the top end petrol model. He showed me that the software does not work and in the last 1 year, company has not been able to resolve it. Why are TH-camrs not calling it out?
If your drive is too much then go for Diesel.... highway u can get an average of 16/17km, and in city mileage of 12 In petrol city 7/8km Highway 12max if you drive between 80 to 90

Many XUV owners are complaining about underbody noise of something breaking especially when the car is on a bumpy road. MnM technicians completely ignore it 😂when we can clearly hear it. Seems they have given up. Also the screen turns blue all the time. I can live with software issues coz sooner or later they will be fixed but what about mechanical ones? They will never be fixed.
What I feel, these engineers are not well trained/experienced to know or detect issues… these engineers are trained to explain customers that issue could be a act of god.
The first year batch of XUV700 had problems...now this car is matured and all issues are fixed in the new batches from mid 2023...no suspension noise whatsoever..infotainment is glitch free...but I can agree that service centers lacks expertise to handle such an advanced engineered car.
Same problem my car too,it's an 2023may ax5 variant,suspension noise plus blank screen occasionally even wheel alignment problem from the very first month of purchase.
Not VFM. You will see brand reviews all over TH-cam. If you are owning sedan from Volkswagen, Škoda or Toyota and thinking of upgrading to xuv or scorpio n keep in mind you will lose the premium feel. Be practical…in a long run quality matters.
In June, i drove xuv 700 and safari facelift for 3,000 kilometers both from Lucknow to Manali(automatic). It is my take away, 18,00 km safari, 1200 km xuv 700 approx. 1: Safari suspension is amazing, it smoothly glides over bad patches 2: Safari gearbox is better, and feels less jerking while shifting. 3: safari has better road presence, xuv is also beautiful, but safari has an edge. 4: Third row is practical in safari. XUV 700….. 1: Engine is just rocket, very refined, feels like driving BMW. 2: The car is more spacious despite the fact that middle row can slide in safari. 3: Cabin feels more luxurious. 4: Easy to drive vehicle for thousands of kilometers, no tiredness. 5: Zero software glitches encountered during trip. 6: Under thigh support is better in xuv. 7: Adas is very accurate in xuv 700. Xuv cons: 1: suspension is not up to the mark 2: Third row is horrible 3: Look is subjective, but i like safari more. Note: Safari owners would say safari, and xuv owners would say XUV, but i don’t own either one, so i gave my unbiased opinion. In my 21 years driving experience, never drove a car like xuv 700, you may not like my comment, bht It is hard to believe that this car was made by Mahindra.(I own Tiguan 2022 model)

I,ve booked xuv 700 ax7 variant at 24 lakhs on road in my city where as pure plus s variant was available at that price in safari which lack features compared to ax7 xuv. But the looks of safari is just wow❤
Just look at the hypocrisy of these youtubers and how they FOOL us. They will always showcase and review the Top variants of a car and price they will project would be of entry level variants. This xuv line up should ideally be in the Rs.25-30 lakh segment coz below that u get just the enigine and a box.
Looks like Mahindra is doing a paid promotion. Not a good car . There are lots of problems in this car from suspension to technical .Personally I don't recommend to purchase this car. Worst suspension ever car.Suspension is too noisy and stiff. People can feel each and every small potholes on the road. I have ax7 model but i am totally unhappy with this car because of stiff and noisy suspension.
Same case with the Fortuner as well. 2 reasons not to pick XUV700 and Fortuner. 1. XUV700: a. Least features loaded in the segment. b. Super Stiff Suspension. 2. Fortuner: a. Least feature loaded in the segment and Overpriced. b. Bumpy ride quality.

The car is amazing, and it is my dream car, i have owned xuv 500 for 9 years, and have never faced any issue with SS!😊
