Great video that makes me want to hire a guide or make friends with someone who has a boat. I finally went fishing for the first time in 40 years in Texas 2 weekends ago. One in the party caught a 12# black drum and a 29" bull red as her first two fish ever, the other lady caught a 34" bull red and released it after a crowd finished oohing and aahing about it. Cold as all get out and raining at Seawolf, but it was a blast. No doubt Captain Sharky and the group had a fantastic time as well.
Tandem my favorite..this year seem to catch the most on the white swim mullets cool video guys! Respectfully done..24 incher best this yr but she was fat over 6 lbs..still searching..pole bender..soul mender.. Local texas city boy..thx for the enthusiasm and the experiment..enjoyed it..see ya out there guy's fish on!
I still don't know how you rigged that tandem rig. Did you connect the top jig's line to the main line with a palomar knot or did you use some kind of a loop knot? And you didn't use any swivel?
I could easily do this. It would just take 34 days to complete while I untie all the backlashes I made. #SpinningGang Awesome work gentleman! First video of yours I’ve found and I’m im now a subscriber after this one! A day to remember for sure!
Personally I think that's fine, but I don't have experience with flouro. 25 or 30 pound monofilament works for flounder, their teeth aren't for cutting, just for grabbing and holding food. I've caught most of my flounder on 6 lb test monofilament with a 20-30 lb mono leader, because that's what I tend to use for everything in the bay. You get more bites with light line.
Really enjoyed the video guys. Really appreciate 4 guys enjoying a fishing trip without the f word every other word. Keep it up.
Love all all the rigs ! Helpful info , thanks guys
Absolutely the best flounder vid I've seen yet🔥💯🔥

Am I okay using 12lb braid with a 25lb flouro leader or do you recommend stronger line?
