Spector has been on fire lately. Some of the most gorgeous finishes available in my opinion.

On fire except for using dollar store tuners on $2800 basses. That being said, I love mine, but I’m pissed about the tuners.
Not on this series though. These are much better than the ones on my euro 4lx.

I've never played a spector,but the clarity,in the highs and lows just sound great!
The first time I played one I was almost mesmerized. Especially after only playing Fender. Idk how to explain it but because of the the scale of the neck on both instruments I do like to play both and switch up. Sometimes I still feel like playing my fender because of where my hands are positioned while I'm playing, but man those EMG's on the specter in my opinion absolutely dominate everything I've ever played
@@BassPlayer9000 Same. It was a high end Spector. Thats not just a bass
Spector's got a very distinct sound; dry and direct they may not be everyone's cup of tea but run them through an amp and they turn into tone monsters - imo. I've got a couple and if I run them through cab sims the tone is godly.

Whenever Nathan drops a new vid I always know there will be always be a little something fresh and compelling in his playing... 0:24 he delivers again!

Great demo, Nate. Makes me miss my '86 NS2. It was a boat anchor! But tonacious and absolutely stable in any weather.
Sounds so good. Don't know if its actually the bass, or just you. You could probably make a First Act sound like a LeFay.

Nate has a great career as a TV/radio broadcaster/journalist waiting for him if he should ever stop playing bass! Not only the voice and speaking ability but his vocabulary is outstanding!

This is why I love Spector over Warwick; it has that acoustic vibe to it, unlike Warwick, who is overwhelmed with a growl and snarly tone.
I finally played a Euro 5 a couple years ago. The neck on those are ungodly thick. Not sure why, but its only bass I've played with EMG humbuckers that actually sounded good.

Do you have any contacts at Warwick? I would love to see a demo of the Corvette multiscale, but there is literally not a single video, audio clip or review of it anywhere! I don't understand why Warwick hasn't uploaded a single demo or video of it themselves. It's almost like they don't want people to know about it. Maybe it was just something they put together in a hurry to have something interesting to show at NAMM? I can't think of another reason for them to not market it.

On Euro RST it’s 34 inch with 4string … 35 inch for 5 string ! That’s important to know
I have a 5 string Spector bass but I have no idea what my knobs do
Personally I would give any instrument demonstration on the hands of normal players. If you give to Nate also a simple berimbau it will sounds like a Stradivari.
PS the bass is fantastic , I have a Spector fretless and sounds like a beast
