Great vid!! I’m curious as to how you keep your carpet clean when water gets all over it? Hard floors always been my preferred flooring when keeping aquariums.
came here to comment this!! I always get my carpet soaking wet when i’m moving fish or doing a water change. I usually put towels down, but it doesn’t do much.
Maybe use carpet plastic carpet ( it’s a strong plastic carpet meant for carpets to stay clean underneath, Walmart or Amazon should have em Forrsure

Hi , love your videos , you should add more wave makers like 2,3 more in 125g it should help with the flow, oxygen and filtration aswell as it should decrease the aggression level of fishes

You did a very good thing for buying an oscar. They basically act like puppies and will always get hyped when they see you.
I had a fire mouth in a community tank with elephant nose, black knife ghost , clown loaches, a couple of big mollies, Everyone told me that the firemouth would kill all the other fish. But he didn't bother anyone. He was a baby and the last fish that I put in the tank so maybe that's why he didn't bother anyone. He got big and beautiful and stayed a good fish. My Oscar had to be by himself. He was so smart . He knew the different members of the family and strangers scared him.. He knew that I was the only one who fed him. He was in my kitchen and his tank was on one side of the kitchen and my refrigerator was way across the kitchen on the other side. He went crazy when I'd open the refrigerator door because he knew that his food was in there. There were times that he wanted to play and he would follow me from one side of his tank to the other and he would go up and down on the glass just to get me to run my fingers back and forth and up and down and when I put my hand in his tank he would swim into my hand. But feeding time was always a little nerve racking because he would jump up out of the water to grab the net that had his food in it. I was so careful and fast getting the net into the tank. I wouldn't let anyone else feed him because I was afraid that when he grabbed the net the person feeding him would automatically pull back and jerked him out of the tank. He was a good boy. I put little toys in the tank for him to play with. He would push them around. I put a couple of huge colorful marbles and he liked those the best. It scared me the first time one went missing, I thought that maybe he swallowed it but there was no way it would fit in his mouth. Then I realized that it was under the sand and he got all happy when I was digging it up.

Just looking for help, i got a turquoise rainbow who developed some bump under its chin. It was red and now it's white. I thought it could maybe be bacterial or fungus, but I treated with melafix and now been treating with salt and I still cant see it going away. Ive been medicating for about 3 or 4 weeks he seems active, but im scared to move him back to my display and I get it on all my fish. Any ideas what it could be
