Can you guys make the performance better? While editing a 6 hour recording, the only thing keeping me from not using camtasia is the fact that it lags everytime I cut it or move it. There is practically no lag on premier.

We did! In Camtasia 2024, it's using the Whisper AI engine to transcribe (which we implemented originally for the new Dynamic Captions feature).

Is there a way to have 1 line captions? Mine are going across 2-3 lines. Literally in your last video showing off dynamic captions, Andy says that you recommend 1 line for captions.

These are closed-captions which viewers can turn on or off, whereas in the video you saw from last week, Andy was referring to the larger Dynamic Captions which are burned onto videos.

You need to look at Audiate (by Techsmith) for that functionality, they do a free trial.
