  • Hi All! In this video I compare silent arcade stick / fightstick push buttons from Sanwa and GamerFinger
    The buttons used for comparison:
    GamerFinger HBFS-30-G3 with Silver Cherry MX switches
    GamerFinger HBFS-30-G3 with Bue Cherry MX switches
    Sanwa OBSFE 30mm Silent Pushbutton (V2)
    Sanwa OBSFS / OBSF + Silencer pad (foam washer)
    Sanwa OBSF-30
    Hori Hayabusa
    Generic unbranded arcade pushbutton

    Whether you choose GamerFinger's HBFS, Sanwa's OBFSE, or just put silencer pads in your existing Sanwa OBSF buttons, you can't go wrong!
    All options do a great job in silencing your fightstick.
    Which buttons do you use?

      @Mr. Sujano, hey man great vid, so its essentially between the 2nd gen Sanwa OBSFE and the GamerFinger Silver MX cherry switches right? In your own personal opinion which one would you choose? THere was another gamer who reviewed these and he chose the gamerFinger silvers over the sanwa 2nd gen OBSFE and I'm not sure which ones as far as feel I should get for standard capcom fight games? Thx in advance!

      @@battosaijenkins946 I'd recommend Gamerfinger over the obsfe. I have a hard time getting used to the rubber texture on the sanwas.

      Gamer finger still the best buttons available. My first 6 buttons are 62g, 7th and 8th 80g and my start and select are 80g switches too.

    a lot of the noise seems like it comes from the actual body. are there sound dampeners for it? i want to get a fight stick but after midnight it needs to make little sound as sound from my room travels pretty bad throughout the house.

    I recommend a louder Sanwa JLF lever and silent Sanwa buttons.

    The rubber sanwa plunger is the best. Feels the best AND is the best silent sound.

    I'm not sure the plastic case isn't also inducing a louder sound too...
    But the GamerFinger's buttons are pretty silent. Of course we can never find any GamerFinger's button these days.
    But we have the samduska's buttons !!!

    I think you should tab the Sanwa silent gen 1 & gen 2 side by side. They don't sound huge difference in this video, any difference actually?

    • @naejimba
      @naejimba 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't tried both but from what I hear most of the difference is in the feel... the original ones with the foam pad people say felt "spongey."

    I have leaf switch buttons in my diy cabinet which feel greatcand low noise, not sure if it's just me but they feel more like the buttons i was smashing as a kid in the arcades, any advice on a quiet stick? I was going to hunt down a leaf sprung stick but not sure how well it wouldcwork eith more modern games.

    i am a shmup player and used mostly sanwa 30mm buttons
    just because they are very nice to trigger and pressing them fast.
    but the gamerfinger ones are very tempting
    maybe i mod them in
    in a future project

    i was looking for Sanwa OBSFS-30-K sound differences, but it seems that silent button or not, if you play, you'll hit it, and it will make a lot of noise anyway, click or no click. Although i'm training to have softer and cleaner inputs, to do the less possible sound by myself

    • @naejimba
      @naejimba 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      According to NihongGamer when he tested the Gamer Fingers with the blue switches compared to the Sanwa silent, he said that he noticed he was pushing the buttons much lighter because of the tactile feedback. I mean who knows if Gamer Finger will even ship you buttons at this point, but that might help with both softer and cleaner inputs as well as cutting down on the sound. I really want to know an alternative to the GF screw on /w blue switches if one exists.

    so the new sanwas dont feel mushy, how does it feel compared to the regular sanwa button when you press it down?

    • @MrSujano
      @MrSujano  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its similar to the regular sanwas with a hard stop at the bottom. The button material on the new Sanwas has a hard rubbery feel. Honestly, some people might have issue with the texture of the button.

    If going silent is your main goal . . . you still have micro switches so it kind of defeats the purpose if you don't want to wake anyone.
