Quick tips for Wood, you can throw shells straight up in Mario world style. When spin jumping on a bomb you shoot it left or right depending on what side you jumped on it.
You played my dad's level and still have the world record. He doesn't know you, but I do. I kinda flipped out when I saw it and I tried so hard to explain how important it is
I've been watching Mario Maker super expert runs for the past year, and this is one of the most enjoyable MM runs I have watched. You missed a few common Mario World techniques like spin-jumping on that thwomp and throwing the turtle shell up instead of horizontally on that one level, but all I can say is keep practicing and you'll learn a lot. I came so close to buying this game yesterday, but how stressed out were in this video looks like me except I'm sure your even better than me. Watching this video has reminded me how much I hate stupidly difficult games.
The endless challenge is a waste of time in my opinion... 80-90% of the levels are garbage, if you're lucky you will play a good level. Much better to look up in the Popular Courses tab and find some really good levels and after checking out the other levels made by the creators that are there. In this way, you'll only play good levels and don't waste time with random crap.
You mentioned there was a delay on your monitor. Are you watching your gameplay on your PC in the capture card program window? If that is the case I recommend using the output port on your capture card and use an HDMI from that to your TV and it will play better on your TV and you can still record.
It was hard to see you get frustrated man ! it BE LIKE THAT! I feel like most expert stages are troll stages imo but it just looks insane!!! cheers man!

Watch some beginners Mario Maker tech, it'll teach you things like spin jumping on thwamps, wall jumping, the fact that you can jump over spike walls like in that lava koopa shell level etc. Simple stuff that you don't know if you don't know.
The sad thing is ever since getting back in to playing my Dragon Quest Builders game. As well as Dragon Quest Builders 2. I have totally stop playing my Mario Maker 2 game. I just been so addicted to Dragon Quest Builders for the past 2 weeks or so. Most especially Dragon Quest Builders 2.
I enjoy making levels far more than playing them. A lot of people seem to go for, imo, super hard crazy stuff, like spin jumps thru spikes, with shell jumps off walls and more. I'm more of a standard platforming player. Closer to a normal Mario game. Levels I make, I don't think are super easy, but they aren't that difficult. Then again, watching someone who does those expert stages regularly blaze thru my stage like nothing, makes me feel bad for making the stage...

it's not so bad, you tried, and some were harder than others, but I mean, some of the people who play are like really insanely good. just play what you enjoy, other than what you have to "critique" --- if Mario Maker 2 is "not fun" and you can't find anything you like about it --- including making your own levels, just , ya know, don't let it stress you out too much. I find that your opinion on games in general is a really good test case for whether or not I'll enjoy something. IF you like it, i'm more willing to try it, and so on. I know some of what you said was for show, but , really, keep up the good work
