Hi, love your videos. I just wanted to let you know there is often some kind of background noise picked up by your mic, I think it might be a fan or something rubbing up against the mic. It's ok if you can't fix it, but I think it would make the audio a lot better if you get rid of it.
Having pulled tension on the 2nd cross on your initial pull, does the 1st cross have a "loose" feel to it, since you're not pulling reference tension with the starting clamp on? I had a customer complain that my 1st cross is too loose, even though I do pull +10% on my 1st cross when stringing.
I bought it as a spare machine to keep at the courts for match days. That said, I just did not like the machine so I sold it. I sold it and my Baiardo L and bought a standard Baiardo. So now I have 2 of the same model.
@@HerbBaird makes sense. I got my Tourna 700 for about $3800 less than what the Baiardo goes for. Still thinks it's one of the better values for a higher end machine. I could have purchased the 700 ES and a Baiardo L for the current price Wilson is selling the Baiardo for. Anyway, I enjoy your content! Keep it up!
@@HerbBaird you have me curious now. I got the Tourna for $2750 last year (from a contact at Ytex), but haven't seen the full Baiardo for $5500 anywhere. I have no plans of upgrading anytime soon but a Baiardo is on my bucket list ...
I bet we used the same contact, Ivor. I think when it was released wholesale was around $2650 plus shipping, and is now $3150 plus shipping. I got both of my Baiardos from wdstrings.com.
Need to know if the stringing instructions are the same for the Percept 97
Glad you’re recovering. Thanks for the video
Thanks for sharing this information. May I ask if the method is the same for the Vcore Pro 100?
Yes it is
I love the new arm wraps. Where did you get them?
Just vinyl I got off Amazon.

It will pick up the fan sometimes. I ha e also found that if I have the microphone up to high it picks up my breathing.

Only loose until I go back and pull knot tension and tie off. The outside string will always feel loose as they are not supported on both sides.
@@HerbBaird Awesome! Exactly what I thought! Keep the content coming!
@@dzine808 You might want also to check the tie off technique and the knots itself. You might lose some tension there.
What ever happened to your Tourna ES700? Just curious as I see all the videos are on the Wilson again

You have to know where to shop. I got the Tourna for $3200 shipped, and the Baiardo for $5500 shipped.

2018 model
I was pretty sure it was an 18, but did not really care to look it up. Thanks.
