Any tips for dialing in the string clamp fine adjustment? Not so loose to slip, not so tight to crush…

Awesome story, thanks. I've been stringing my own racquets for a couple years, and I've toyed with the idea of stringing for side cash after I upgrade my machine. Definitely something to do only if you enjoy stringing itself.

Thx so much for the Video. I initially watched it for being sure which grommets to skip and where to knot. But I learned a lot trivial things, that speed up my stringing process so much: 1. Making the first loop of the knot pretty small makes it easier to tighten the whole knot and I can't get confused which loop to be pulled. 2. I pulled a lot of string through before giving tension to the prior. You are pulling as much as you need to give tension and then pulling the rest through the racket. I see two Advantages doing it that way, first it is much easier to have the end of the whole string in the end to pull it through the next (5s win every time), second, far less string in my way, don`t have to be so cautioned. 3. Most time saving, me was weaving parallel to the former string. U are weaving diagonal, st from head to throat, st from throat to head. The string bed is much more "looser" for weaving that diagonal way and it is MUCH faster. Got a Question about the third point: Is there a reason you weave st. from the head to throat ans st. from throat to head? (Hope it is all understandable, I'm not a native speaker)

Hi, I just got my Bairado L last week and was wondering what the metal washers are on the reel holder for. I'm guessing the big plastic wheels are to be in between each reel but do I toss the metal washers? Thanks!

I am the rpesident of a small regional Tennis CLub in Queensland Australia and have recently purhcased a Gamma Proression II ELS, (2024). MAy i ask if you are using Isopropanol as your cleaning Al? we have a product in Australia called Iso-Wipes which are an Isopropanol impregnated canister of cloth type wipes. wondering if this would be the same as i don't want to damage the machine. Looking underneath it I saw that there is a pivot to tilt it, similar to the electronic adjustment on the Baiardo Top, were you able to adjust its tilt?

I came across the quite by accident and I've watched it three times now and it's inspired me to learn how to string rackets. Itired it once back 1989 or so using my mates drop-weight machine, I did an ok-ish job but I never tried to another one. In your opinion what the the best stringer one can buy for sub 1000?

Hi. When you meassure on short side the last mains length 1 1/2 (from 7 to 8 1/2) is that to reach the stringer? how much length to string long side incl. the 8 + 1 mains ?

Thanks for the video. I was looking for one-piece instructions. It's very easy to do after seeing your demonstration. The trickiest part is measuring b/c it seems like the short side is really short :) Nearly half of the short side was just so I could tension it around the gripper !

Hello Herb. I’m very interested in getting a Baiardo. I found that Wilson sells the L but I’m interested in the regular one. Any idea where I could find one? Have searched all over the net but to no avail. Thanks for such a great channel. Have learned a whole lot. Repetition is key.

May i know hiw much does thr machine cost ?

If you could answer a question for me. When I string multifilaments I am always above my set tension on my machine (gamma progression els ii). When I check on the apple app for racquet tension if I set it to 45 pounds for example it will come out 49 when I am finished. This doesn't happen when I string polys, it only happens when I string multis. I have done 3 different strings types on 4 different racquets to check my sanity multiple times and it keeps happening. Any thoughts on why? The polys on the app are a lot closer to what i set, usualy a couple pounds below, but being below my set tension makes a lot more sense to me than being above my set tension.
