This in my opinion is your best video to date and I have been watching your vids for a long time. Always nice to see a competent tank crew especially a drive that is not asleep at the levels. The last stand at the end was just the icing on the cake.

It’s always nice to come back to the older videos from Dyslexci and watch him to various vehicle missions. I always love his TOW stuff but the old missions always seem much more brutal.

Always find tank combat to be the most interesting because success really depends on the entire crew and cooperation between them. Combat in squads in similar but I find not as in-depth.
Its only interesting if the sides are balanced and the crews of all tanks are somewhat competent. Otherwise it quickly becomes too gamey, in my view. If you want to see other tanks battles you can check out Rolling Thunder Arma videos.
Think a lot of that stems on rather you get a nice little respawn at the end of your trip.

There´s something about these large scale combined arms missions that really resonates with me.
I can't tell you how glad I am combined arms is a thing now in your community! It sounds strange but I've been looking forward to this since the combined arms mission in Arma 2, where you had to land your AH-9 in a field of BMDs, T72s, and a whole bunch of infantry while Hogs and harriers strafe and bomb everything around you.

only if it is a french tank then reverse is the fastest gear.
Fun fact, the Japanese Type 10 can drive up to 72 km/h in reverse
And that's one of its many setbacks, together with outdated optics and poor engineering.

You'd just need to make sure you installed Admiralty Prize Court mod to make sure the boarding party got divvied their proper shares.

Dslyecxi, I had no idea what the acronym for that launcher carried by Kevbo's unfortunate companion stood for, so I looked it up, and apparently you can't properly say 'MANPAD', as it stands for ' Man-portable air-defense systems', and even one is still a system, so you have to put the 's' on the end for 'MANPADS'. Thought you might be interested.

You should still watch it the video fully, one of THE best videos Dsylexi has put up to date.

Out of curiosity, why would one not pick up an AK-74 when holding an AKSU?
And that question regarding Kevb0's take on the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid ending was glorious.
My guess is because a tank crew man would have trained with the AKSU. It would be like a knight using a bow, they could probably use it, but are just better with a sword.

I can hear references to using HEAT rounds against soft targets throughout the beginning of the video. Don't those things have HE-Frag in their arsenal? Russian tanks usually do
In previous missions they have taken out all HE rounds from tanks, so as to leave the infantry with a job to do, rather than having the tanks kill everything. Good for gameplay.

i feel like the guns on those tanks are way too vulnerable to AT shots from the front. Unless AI is master at sniping tank barrels...
