Ok, followed your video to the letter. Ended up having 4 thin brass washers fall out of somewhere. I don't see a single washer in your video that looks like the ones I have. HELP! I need to know where they go. I don't see them on the schematic either. Hint....they are a size that would fit over the shaft.
@@TSGReelService Well, that's the issue. Evidently they were stuck together with grease and I did not see them fall out. They are brass colored. Also, my clutch washers (schematic says 2 are required) consist of one that is steel colored and VERY thin and one that is brass colored.
@@TSGReelService I followed your video exactly and watched it several times. I even took pictures while disassembling. I did not take the drag apart so they have nothing to do with the drag.
What areas of the can the washers fit on? If they can only fit on the shaft, then double check your pics to see if you can find them and where should possibly go.
My apologies.... I mis-read the reel.... thought it was V. The size may still be the same on the VI, but let me double-check and get back to you by tomorrow. Sorry about that.
Just get a Van Stall (but not the VR). These Spinfishers are decent but do not survive more than a year or 2 for me. My 250 VSB Staal never stops being perfect even though I crank it fully submerged and gets dunked all the time in saltwater.

Thanks for watching, Bill. What exactly you were doing when they fell out and what parts did you remove from the feel before it happened?

@@TSGReelService Maybe these go on the main drive gear before adding the external cap?
I’m unable to get the screw at 3:59 out it’s blocked.
Did you strip the head?
@@TSGReelService nevermind I was working on the wrong screw in there. It was covered in grease and I didn’t see it

Thanks for watching and your input.
Adding or subtracting washers underneath the spool will affect how the line lays on the spool ...
Thanks for watching. Yes.... it was tested after to ensure proper line lay.
