We created this channel to help people who are planning for Canada PR or are already in Canada. We moved to Canada in April 2018 after getting Canada PR. In the process of getting the PR, we had so many learnings by doing lots of mistakes. We would like to share those best practices with everyone so that you can save time and efforts while acquiring Canada PR. We upload engaging videos for the relevant audience on how life in Canada is, how to get a job in Canada and how anyone can settle down quickly. So, subscribe to the channel and be part of our family. Cheers!

The most common way that everyone has used to buy a house in Canada is either using their parents retirement money or selling their parents house’s/land in India and using that money in Canada. Else it is hard and would take quite a few years to buy a house on your own.

It’s not a big deal to buy a house, Canadians often confuse new immigrants with this dream. Hard part is maintaining it. You can easily put 5 or 10% as down payment but problem is can you afford the monthly expenses. Plus, your home is not your home. You pay amortization for 25 years so all you have a home which on paper is your’s. Im a home owner and not trying to de motivate others but it’s the truth. Good luck to you guys. 😊

  • @tdwebste
    @tdwebste 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Property speculation is the problem.
Because in Canada property speculation is the only investment guarantee to increase year on year.
    The solution:
New construction needs to be about 40% large coops units which are shared building ownership and individual unit ownership.
You buy a share of the building or building complex. When you sell, the money from the shared ownership goes to the coop community or is not sold because it was rented.
Coop government regulation needs to be improved so that building management companies are libel for the advice they provide.

Few comments on your video and for your knowledge too. Full time jobs are not more secure than contract jobs. The only difference is that contract jobs' duration is known before you start. Also, when you will be able to buy the house not necessarily depends on how much down payment you need to make. It also depends on if the bank is willing to extend you a loan (mortgage) and for how much and at what interest rate? Making a 5 or a 20% down payment and getting a loan only enables you to move into a house. Your ability to ultimately purchase the house is still dependent on vagaries of Canadian life and how one survives in this country.

Share market mein lagao after proper research. Do fundamental analysis or have a good friend that knows stuff. Study hundreds of stocks (both Canadian and US) and hopefully you can earn 20 percent of your total house cost. If you use TFSA, the gains will be tax free.
Currently I can recommend two stocks :
Bionano Genomics (revolutionary tech in the field of cytogenetics) &
Veritone ( I bought it at 2 dollars in March, went to 19 in June-July)
Huge potential but yea do your own due diligence.

Good job making videos on key topics but somehow you have to be precise when talking numbers. Eg. You mentioned about 700k house which one can get with 5% downpayment isnt correct.5% is on first 500k and another 10% on amount above 500k i.e. on 200k so totla downpayment is 45K. And do not forget additional CMHC fee (additional 3% roughly)

I am also living in GTA Canada If you will pay 5% down only first of all it's a very hard chance to approve mortgage directly from bank, Only mortgage brokers will give you green signal with 1% on per 1 hundred thousand their fee second you have to pay CMHC fee which is also called mortgage insurance. Now days minimum down is 20% If you want to save broker fee plus CMHC fee.

Hey Guys... very informative & useful videos! Was wondering if you have investigated on the stability and safety of wooden houses? Is it resistant for fire, tornadoes, earth quakes? Are concrete houses available at all in canada? Appreciate your response..

Hi, Just wants to know what's the appreciation value of the property in Canada. Becz many of them mentioned property buying is not worth in Canada.
For own use it's necessity but investment point of view..
Add this point also in your next upcoming video... Thanks

Yes the appreciation is not going to be much as the Canadian housing market is at it's peak!

If you are buying a house in Canada, buy only if you are going to live in it. Flipping properties and making money is very hard as there is already a big bubble in Vancouver and Toronto and if it bursts you may lose lots of money.
