  • Looks like Stevens has a new weapon for home defense and hunting! This Shotgun serves multiple roles and can serve anyone from novice to expert at the range, or hunting trip! From homebody to farmer this might be the budget firearm for you! Watch as syringesoup reacts to this unboxing and gives his best asmr while giving a first look review of this affordable and cheap piece of equipment! Factory gave this thing the disassembly treatment for shipping most long arms get, but comes together easily! A very welcome addition to anyone's arsenal!

I’ve had this shotgun for a year now (Security model). NEVER a feeding or firing issue. Very generous recoil pad, smooth action, easy to clean, rotary bolt-can’t beat it. If I had one complaint, the slide release button should be bigger. I actually think it looks really good. I bought mine with the ghost ring sights and fiber optic front sight. Gun is outstanding, and the price just make it a no brainer🇺🇸

I know this video is a year old, but thought I would give my two cents worth. A little background so you know I have others to compare...I have an SKB M605 O/U that I inherited from my uncle. I have an old Ithaca 37 Featherweight, and I have a Mossberg 500. I have extensive experience with the Remington 870 from being swat/tactical team member. I bought the Stevens for $219; to become my "trunk gun". It came with a short security barrel and a longer hunting barrel. I put on the short security barrel, loaded up three rounds, and stepped out the back door and fired those rounds. Functioned great, no hang ups. The pump sounds a little gritty, but who knows, maybe that will go away with use. The pump action works easier than my Ithaca pump. I believe I will pack this back up in the box and give it to my son as a gift when he comes home from deployment next year. Every 22 year old needs a solid "working mans" shotgun to beat up. Don't worry, I live in the free state of Idaho and can legally give my son a shotgun without breaking any laws.

I have one and thank you for not treating it like it's the last gun you would own. Every man or woman take pride in their weapon at hand an not day dreaming about the one they can't afford. I appreciate you being kind and not the man I listened to last night. He made you feel like you shouldn't be on the same ground as him IF this is all you could afford.
Thanks again for a fair review!!

Purchased my 320 from Walmart in the 20G for my 12 year old to turkey hunt. Outstanding shotgun. Paid $129.00 and it feels like a $300 shotgun. Accurate and lightweight. My son bagged a 20 pound gobbler 1 shot. He is hooked. Stevens is definitely the definition of value.

I got mine about 2 years ago at RK for about $250. Probably a little more than I should have paid considering but I'm not sorry. It got me into clay shooting and I've had a lot of fun with it. It came with a couple extra chokes and, of course, the sling swivels. Very smooth shooter especially with game/target loads. Nice recoil mitigation. I highly recommend.

I have all three of these Shotguns all Defensive or security models. I upgraded the stock on the Hatfield to wood, it reduced the felt recoil drastically, I burned the stock black, added a heat shield, mag extension, a flashlight and polished all the internal parts. All of these upgrades took this from a good shotgun to a great shotgun. My Maverick 7+1 has a heat shield, 80's Vintage corn cob foregrip walnut furniture with the 7 5/8 action slide, and an oversized brass bead, it's a poor man's Retrograde riot shotgun it's a Great Shotgun My Stevens is the thumb hole grip model, with ghost ring sights, I modified a Mossberg 500 heat shield to fit it, also added a +2 mag extension. I highly recommend Polishing all the internal parts of all of these shotguns anywhere metal meets metal. You can take a new tight action and make it feel like a perfectly broke in 500+ round action, with a Dremal tool, polishing head metal polish and about 30 minutes. In a stock from the factory out the box, which would I choose or recommend? I would say the Mav 88 has the best aftermarket support, has some parts made in Mexico but is made in America you can't go wrong. But My Stevens has the slickest action out the box and lightest felt recoil, also with no modifications or adapters it will shoot Mini shells 100% reliably. Stevens in my opinion is the better buy.

But for those of you reading this make sure you have the tactical barrel for the Foster slugs you do not want to shoot those out of your field barrel.

That is not the home defense one. They have a shorter one which I have for home defense and it has no choke option. (Smooth). It has an 18.5 inch barrel where his is a 26 inch field model. I love the firearm. It maybe cheap but it feels really good and the action is smoother than the maverick. Has a good weight to it. The maverick is lighter which from reviews don’t hurt it but shooting maybe harder to handle (not sure). Love your enthusiasm. Thanks for the video. Idk about the hatfiels ( no experience )but I know the other two are solid.

It’s a smooth shooter, takes about 150 to 200 rounds to break it in but haven’t had any trouble with it. The 88 I believe has 500 furniture on it because of the 14” lop and the shape of the foregrip. I’ve had several 88’s in the past and are the same as the 500 with a cross bolt safety instead of a tang safety. Looking to get another simi auto but an inertia drive gun. Stevens 3:20 has a long list of extra attachments mag tube extenders different types of foregrips they have steel guide better springs you could buy shorter barrel they have a defense 18 and a half inch barrel you can buy they actually sell a pistol grip so no you are very wrong there is a lot of accessories for the Stevens just as much as the Mossberg

Do they still sell the Stevens 350?
I bought the Mossberg 500 in 1990 only problem was the tang safety screw striped out I tapped it bugger.
    But it functions flawlessly.
I drilled and taped it and scoped it,....its my woods gun good for slugs and bird shot.
I'm looking for probably the Stevens 320,... just researching now.

At that price i'd recommend just ordering a maverick 88 of your flavor from buds online shop for around 200! Hatfield is solid enough but the 88 beats it hands down at that price.

Hey, I just paid 219 plus tax. And the bolt release button ( I guess that's what it is called) will not compress without me holding forward pressure on the choke. Is that normal? I know the 870s is easy to press.
