For the instrumentation question, I think that Will and company just got it either from the band or their YT page. There are copies of their songs on their page with just the instruments. I suspect that the mix in Will's cover is the vocal mix and not the instrumentation.

Will comes through with a tight, shiny rock voice that perfectly complements his harsh vocals. I was so glad that he released this to show off some of his clean vocal chops. A great artist and a likeable human being. Great reaction and analysis, Peter!

I think it'd be an incredible opportunity to see the perspective of an opera singer, to showcase similarities and differences between learning the two vocal styles.

The singer (Tom Barber) even used to be the vocalist for Lorna Shore (currently fronting Chelsea Grin). Actually, any Darko songs would be fascinating. The videos might be a tad full-on for you though.

Hey man, seen a video of yours from 2 years ago and it seems you've lost average viewership? And I'm a nobody but I honestly think it's because you haven't switched anything up at all in those 2 years. Thumbnails are almost identical to what they were (no improvements there) Camera quality seems slightly better but could just be the lighting so (negligible if any improvement there) you haven't changed up HOW you do the breakdowns at all (No improvement). Maybe it's time to try and change things up? Something fresh perhaps? In all honesty, the main reason is because too much yapping. I know it's a breakdown, but look at the MUCH bigger channels that do the same. They only stop the video once in awhile to say a few things about the voice/music/video etc. and then back into listening. They wait until AFTER to do their more in depth analysis of everything. Because YT is about retention and view time. If the music is constantly being stopped for 2-3 minutes at a time, people are going to stop watching VERY quickly. And your retention graph is going to drop off a cliff after the first 3-5 minutes. You also don't really react AT ALL to the music. You just stop it, analyze robotically, then back into the music. Try getting a little hype and excited. People watch reactions to see people enjoy the same stuff they enjoy. Look what the bigger channels do, copy that. Copy it exactly. Then just add your own little flavors. But the fact that NOTHING has changed in 2 years and you definitely make SOME money from this already, is pretty strange. You have a normal career already, making YT money, and yet almost nothing has changed in the quality or types of video you make. And as you get older, time to capitlize on YT content gets much shorter. Not of a ton of older folks make it big time and you had SUCH a good chance 2 years ago when you were constantly hitting 20-40k views per video. Now the average is more around 4-7k.
