After watching Ren's 36-minute explanation of the entire situation, I was FIRED UP. I'm so glad he made this song -- the amount of anger and frustration that he was able to perfectly funnel into his art is awe-inspiring. If you haven't watched the backstory about why he made this music video, I highly recommend it -- other than that, please enjoy my reaction (which is far more intense than usual!) and a bit of musical/vocal analysis as well. Cheers, Renegades!
I think it's absolutely admirable the way Ren has managed to stay perfectly rational and respectable in his actual interactions with the situation, while finding a healthy, constructive, creative outlet for all the darker and more destructive urges he's feeling as a result of the situation. That kind of mental discipline is incredibly worth of respect.
We were all fired up! Our sick boi was wronged and the hype to see him release his anger was insane. Pretty sure that was like twice the amount of people for the premiere than we’d seen before and so many reactors heard his call for support. It’s interesting that the community is so passionate because of how genuinely nice Ren is, but we all LOVE seeing this side of him 😂
I think this kinda saved his mental health a bit tbh. It's sad he couldn't ignore it to be able to enjoy his gig but yeah good on him. He tried all avenues for peace but Kujo wasn't having it. I was up to watch that was well. The joys of my time zone. Loved the Chokehold live, that was fun
Ren does absolutely *everything* for a reason. That last line of rage "this is how the sick boi works, YOU FEELIN' ME?", you noticed they doubled Ren's voice. That wasn't just for effect, that was the voice of both Ren and "Dark Ren" in full agreement.
Ren has some really great friends to allow themselves to be tied up, have their mouths taped and have angry Ren in their faces....because angry Ren is scary. Love it. As much as I love this though, I hope no one ever gives him another reason to make another. He's too good a person to be put through this kind of bs. As for kujo, selling an unlicensed sample might not have destroyed his career, but the way he dealt with it afterwards sure did. Nobody needs to go to his site to harass him. He's done all the damage himself. And I really think part two will be legal action, not another video
That ending is just epic. Nothing colder or psychologically chilling than going from yelling to a calm voiced warning and then simply walking out of the room and turning off the lights. CHILLS!!!
@matthamilton365 Not only that but at the start of the track, when Ren is having that insane convo with himself - Kujo and his gf were sitting there, tied to the chair listening to it all. The performance and all else about this video surpasses the award winning Money Game 3. I'm absolutely blown away at Ren's actor /director skills . And then there is his music arrangement!! Really enjoyed your reaction! We're fortunate aren't we?!
Thank you for calling a spade a spade. I have watched heaps of reactions in the past 2 days and you are the first to mention he is grunting at the start. It is so funny to hear everyone else refer to his "heavy breathing" or similar phrases. You said it for what it is and you get my respect for that straight out of the gate on this one. Have loved hearing your thoughts, and look forward to hearing you cover more of Ren's work. Thanks.
Best reaction I've seen so far... Quick stops with clear and on point analysis... Love how you call Ren skillful instead of talented, small but significant difference 😄
"This is how the Sick Boi works, you feeling me" the back ground vocals sounding like a young boy, I missed the first few times but makes it that much more eerie and poignant.
I just love that every detail is on purpose and has a meaning❤❤ Thank you for your reaction. I had the exact same look on my face when he bring the chairs out😅
Brilliant reaction, Peter, excellent breakdown of the content. Ren is so excellent and deserved non of the s*it Kujo threw (continues to throw) at him. Love to you from Annie, in Cornwall, UK🙂🌸
Hell yeah. Dope ass reaction man. Really appreciate your classical/ opera perspective AND knowledge of cinematic soundtracks too. Out of the blue last weekend I happened to listen to Bernard Herrmann’s complete soundtrack for Hitchcocks classic Psycho - cause I really wanted to hear those ↘️ *LOW* *LOW* strings he used. And that’s what came to mind as a possible influence when I first saw the livestream- along with the quintessential 🎻 string “screeches” - glad to be a long time fan/ subscriber of yours. Keep up the great work 🤘🏼🎧🤟🏼
Great reaction! It's enjoyable to watch someone who appreciates the shifts in intensity and the vocal technique employed in order to achieve those different ranges of emotion. I'm so thankful that the reaction communication came through to support Ren. I was livid for him, too, when reading those messages!
Made me think Ren should write an opera with all the intensity and theatricality and strings-rap-beat combination. Image seeing something like this live on stage with a full orchestra and choir! It might be hard to find performers that could play his part, but it would be really cool and innovative and exactly the kind of modern interpretation I have a weakness for (I get a lot of inspiration out of going to the Dutch royal opera with my lovely grandma, I’m a sucker for modern interpretation of high quality).
Amazing reaction Sir! So well described and multi-facetedly broken down, such a good insight into the genius that is Ren! We all know he's a genius but this diss just takes things to a whole new level! Much ❤to you brother, the same to Ren, and all my fellow Renegades!
Thanks, what a great reaction video. So much fun to see expressions as people take in this video. We mear mortals when facing this kind of anger lose control, we spit, shake, break things punch walls. The fact than Ren can channel this into beauty, and art, that he can so complete represent feelings that most people are not conscious about and can't string three words together to describe. Some of us work really hard to try and turn away from the "negative" to try to be understanding and not hurt others that we can go to far. I am sorry that Ren is having to go through all this but he reminding us that at some point you have to stand up for yourself, that getting angry is not a bad thing, and that although he may not choice to show it, Ren can destroy you, eviscerate you, but he will do it with more flare and artistry than you could scrape together in two lifetimes.
The more I hear from Ren the more I realize his Solution is to be a Teacher Opening the Eyes of Millions with his Art and his Heart! And I think Ren's message is Crystal Clear. Ambition and Passion Without Compassion Will Cause the World To Burn! But Ambition and Passion WITH Compassion Can Save It! But When Compassion Becomes a Target for Other's Greed, then the Truly Compassionate Must Stand Up and Acknowledge that Injustice and Greed Must be Confronted and Addressed! Even a Thousand Years Ago Rulers would Caution You, "Don't Mess With A Bard or Your Descendants will Curse You for a Hundred Generations!" #Renmakesmusic
I was waiting for your take on this, and you did not disappoint. I knew you would go into the orchestration, the musical composition, use of his vocals, and how it combines to affect our response to the performance. We've been there with Ren and he has earned our trust so he knows we can accept his fury/indignation as appropriate. Pure catharsis. The ancient Greeks knew what that did for all of us (note the Greek, I mean Bulgarian, chorus commenting in the background!)- the author/performer and audience are all affected. Absolutely brilliant!

Agree some nice singing there
If you didn't know, Lost All Faith uses a sample (the Twitch music) which includes some vocals - it's not all Ren.
The thumbs up icon wasn’t big enough for this reaction. Always a treat, thanks Peter!
This is taking years of anger, frustration with focusing it to a laser point of music. But the production and tightness of this entire piece as music and video is brilliance.
Took so much energy and turned it into art.
Love the little call backs up sick Boi, money game and hi ren. His musical journey just builds each time on his legacy and journey.
He's a rare talent
Could you imagine a Ren writing an opera Peter? That might be wild!
Are we not entertained? So satisfying.
That striding around us reference to MG 1. The cookie jar is reference ti MG3. " put your hand in the cookie jat, take more than you need"
Razor blade pen
chris webby feat. ren - baggage is intersting visually and sonically :)
thanks for this one... it is always reassuring to see experts like you be speechless on the same things i was ;)
Another great R&A! Ren provides a lot of material to work with for an analysis. So much passion and power in his performance!
That is what I love about Ren so much. It's very important to have passion in your work and when you express it in such a way, it feels relatable. This was amazing and I still wanted to cry. You just have so much feeling behind it, he is a great artist.
I would love to know what you hear the choir saying. I’ve seen people try to figure it out and with your experience I’d enjoy your thoughts. Great reaction❤
One line I can't seem to make out. Cease or something. But second line is almost clear , " don't sell stolen beats "
@@davem793 I have heard that myself and it seems so have others. It’s another Ren puzzle. Always fun
Most likely “cease and desist, which is a legal term used to tell another party that they are committing illegal acts, such as in defamation, and of they do not cease they will be sued for said illegal acts. It’s perfect!
ive managed to hear "stolen beats are illegal" but I know there is more!
@@Loud_Nimai between all of us hopefully we’ll figure it out eventually 😂
Great reaction. If your back on Ren id love to see you break down Back on 74 or Fred Again Mashup. Two songs Ren released earlier this year that are pinnacle singing Ren.
Excellent suggestion. Would really love to see more Ren reactions and this is a perfect choice. I would add Blind Eyed
The grunting at the start not only references his frustration it's a throw back to the start of Sick Boi.
All I can say is that your face is priceless during the whole video. Also, Ren deserves all the love.
His face was pure rage. He needs to be on Broadway.
Thank you for reacting to this and for supporting Ren!
This song has just become my favorite Ren track and before today I couldn't pick one if you put a gun to my head before this song!!!!
A number one would be the icing on the cake!!!!
💥💥💥💙💙💙🔥🔥🔥
PS - Kujo has listed that he has songwriter credits on Sick Boi on Beat Stars!! Knox Hill posted the receipts showing this lie on his reaction to this song/video!!
Have you also watched Baggage by Webby and Ren? Some great vocals by both artists and Ren hits some inicredible high notes too!
Agree this was an amazing song and video. Worth watching!!!
Definitely a wow moment which most miss 'cos there's so much going on on screen.
Love that you did this
We get a totally different perspective with you😊. Back on74/Message in a Bottle is singing. It shows a lot of Ren's vocal diversity. A favorite among us. Ren's feat with Chris Webby called Baggage. There's a lot of singing mixed with melodic rap with some crazy moments. Another totally different voice. Movie quality video.
Always love to see your reactions. Your eyes are so expressive and full of energy and emotion.
After a whole day of watching reactors: thanks for your insight! Loved your reaction. Greetings from Germany. Thank you
Your face watching this for the first time was exactly my face watching this for the first time. 💯
I like to think THIS is the reaction Ren is looking for.
I don’t think I have ever seen you so animated and excited 😂
I just love that every detail is on purpose and has a meaning❤❤
Thank you for your reaction. I had the exact same look on my face when he bring the chairs out😅
Ren is a lyrical genius
That reaction/analysis was one of the best yet.. and i feel like just spent the last 24 hours just watching reactions to this 😂😂😂
The appreciation of Ren from someone with your talent is 🎉
I remember your first exposure to Ren and to see where you are now. I love it lol
Your enjoyment was visceral.
Thank you for supporting Ren. This song was 🔥
I'm obsessed with him. He is a real artist and ypu can really feel his soul!🎉❤
Brilliant reaction, Peter, excellent breakdown of the content. Ren is so excellent and deserved non of the s*it Kujo threw (continues to throw) at him. Love to you from Annie, in Cornwall, UK🙂🌸
This ☝️ was a great reaction, Peter, thanks for that👏👏👏
Greetings from Germany 👍🤝👍
Yes, to have someone react who can pay attention to the atmosphere created by the music.
🎤- DROP! 💥
LMAO...😂😂I have never seen you so giddy during a reaction. Our boy Ren is a master at work and you breaking it down is icing on the top.❤️❤️
We started the premiere chat almost 2 hrs before with about 1k. By the time it started there was 21k😮It was EPIC🔥🔥🔥🔥
The start is also a an angrier reference to Sick Boi
Thanks for this reaction and for supporting Ren! I loved seeing your expressions as you watched the video!
His acting is also amazing , ao theatrical in every single movement
