Similar vibes as Sarah Adam’s books. The Secret Bridesmaid is a cute romance that focuses a lot on a female friendship! My favorite summer time thriller is the The Night Swim. The BEST audiobook for summer.
I read my first Ruta Sepetys book earlier this year and immediately went out and bought all I could find. Salt of the Sea is on my TBR shelf now. If you haven't read "I Must Betray You" you should. It takes place in communist Romania in the late 80's early 90"s and WOW!!! I had no idea. The ending gutted me!
@@Jordan_elaine I wanted to throw the book at the end! That is when I knew it was a 5 star read. I also have Fountains of Silence and Between Shades of Gray waiting for me to read.

I just bought Happy Place today and can't wait to get to it this weekend! Also, Say You Swear has been on my tbr since the first time you ever talked about it so hopefully I can get to it this summer. I wanted to read it for Romanceathon but ended up taking a trip and not reading at all haha
Hi! I just read Book lovers and loved it so much I've already bought Beach read 😊 I read Between shades of grey by R. Sepetys a few months ago and now I want to read another one, not sure if Salt of the sea or the one about Romania. You intrigued me with Every summer after, I'm torn, maybe I'll read it from my library in case I don't like the ending 😅
Even though summer is almost over I do have a recommendation for next year it's called summer on the bluffs by sunny hostin I really enjoyed it perfect for summer it's book 1 in a trilogy I absolutely enjoyed things we lost in a fire I heard remarkable bright creatures is being adapted into a movie starring sally field
Can I recommend a book I have not even read yet? Every Summer After? Bwahahah - Just kidding. But I am SO excited to read it at the beach. My rec would def be People We Meet on Vacation! - I was not a huge fan of Malibu Rising. I was bored LOL! But, maybe I was comparing it to all of her others. I LOVED Things we Save in a Fire!

Malibu rising is definitely not for everyone! I think it’s one to read only if you really love family drama 🤭
