Hey I’m new to go karting and have learned a lot from your videos. Tks! I’m wonder what causes the under steering (or skid?) at 5:46. And how to prevent it. Also how to save from spinning around or just simply minimize the time lost? Tks a lot!
What a roller coaster! How was the experience overall this year? Thinking about doing this next year as a foreigner (based in Asia). Would you recommend it and what is a realistic budget (arrive and drive)?
The event was not as cool and glamorous as it has been in the past since we weren't actually downtown in Vegas. The vibe felt a little off because of that, plus I wasn't crazy about the track layout this year. There were other things that bothered me too about the event compared to previous SuperNats, but aside from that stuff, the on-track action is still as competitive as you will find anywhere, so that's cool. I always recommend anyone travel to SuperNats at least once because it elevates your driving level and you learn a lot just by being there competing against such a strong field. Budget $3,000-$10,000+ for an arrive and drive package depending on how in-depth you're looking to do. Entry is going to be $2,000. The cheapest you can do the event and still be competitive would probably be $5,000 once you add in hotel, food, and travel, but that's if you own your own stuff and are based in the US. I've run up front with a $5,000 budget a few times so that's do-able.

I got hit from behind really hard under braking. At that point it's just trying to not spin and to not hit the barriers, you're sort of a passenger.
