Your friend had so many opportunities to pit maneuver him, or just force him off the track. But i'm glad the guy got removed. In the end, your friend won.
Simple fix in this case. The driver gave him more than enough opportunity to have an actual race. After so long a simple run from behind to push him to deep into a corner would solve this. Constantly allowing yourself to be beside someone who doesn't want to keep this safe affects everyone. Sending him into a corner to have to become well off pace doesn't. It's the lesser of two evils.
you have to remember that you have responsibility for damage caused to both vehicle and driver. I'm not THAT eager to race if it means possibly wrecking and having to pay for repairing a kart. what I learned with a similar experience is that it's better to only kart when you have a closed session with friends. it's very hard to gather enough people, but paying to get angry and frustrated with some jack*ss strangers? @gustavogoesgomes1863 The method I am speaking of is not to wreck the driver. Simply moving them out of a racing line to have to become off pace. It is up to track officials (if real racing series) to handle this during the race. Here, they obviously didn't care until after. Intentionally wrecking isn't something I ever recommend because it breeds bad techniques that can only lead to serious injury down the line. The best way of dealing with drivers like this is a tiny tap on the rear bumper in a fast corner or gentle braking zone. Just enough to put them off line, but not enough to get real notice from the marshals. Happened a lot when I was karting!

@@JustinLT212 Oh i'm in agreement, it's just the application of said "bump" that I'm looking at. A nice push deep into the next corner would leave him stranded on the turf... a nice place to be for a prick of a driver..lol
It is worth gold that you added Kimi's radio messages and sometimes this driving remembers me to Jeddah, imagining 2021 Toto smashin his headphone and stewards busy with investigating everything what happened between the title contenders.
It's a dick move, but if the marshalls allow it, it's allowed. So I would just stop whining and do the same to him: Take the inside line and force him off the track.
What I do in such siutations, is slow down so it takes more laps cathing up with him again. If he keeps on doing it, one should just go back to the pits and tell the staff that either they black flag/ban the guy or give your money back if they aren't willing to enforce the rules. He may be an a-hole, but it's the staff's fault that he's allowed to do this.
Good call - they were both going slower because of the battle. Could have had plenty of time to pit and get the marshals to do their fuckin job, then gone out and caught back up to where you'd be if still in that battle. And if the marshalls didn't care, get your money back and leave before you end up doing something arrestable 😅
I'm absolutely amazed he didn't get black flagged while racing, where's the marshals exactly? After the 2nd/3rd instance he should have had a black and white flag. This is absolutely awful marshalling even if he did get banned in the end it should have never got to that stage.
Your friend has a lot of patience. I never been karting, but I've seen a bunch of videos. There are some guys that are overly aggressive, dive bomb in turns with no consideration for other drivers....and then there was this guy. This guy was flat out moving into the POV driver's lane, pushing him off the track, intentionally trying to put him into the tires and wall. Once, maybe twice I would be mad and forgive. This guy must have done it 20 times in a 3 minute video. How did none of the track staff see this guy's outright dirty, unsafe driving? After the 3rd or 4th time, I would have spun the guy out and tackled his ass to the ground.
He keeps sweeping you even though you're on the outside. Brake a little earlier, that way if he does try to sweep you off your line, his rear quarter will catch your front making him spin!
You get one "mistake", after that you're free to fire the blue turtle shell and wreck him. Also you're free to beat the piss out of him after the race.
My thoughts are you kept choosing the outside line so he forced you wide. Sometimes way too much as he didn’t give you enough room and purposely pushing you off track as well as himself. Glad he got removed and black listed but there were opportunities to pass that you didn’t take.
I think he was targeting the POV driver. He had no problem with other people passing him. He was clearly looking back to ensure he was setup to always have the inside line from the other driver. A better driver could have easily faked him out and got by with sustained momentum, but the POV driver hadn't reached that skill level yet.
It seems like he's using the strategy of occupie the inside line in every turn so he can push you out and gain that advantage. Try to run into that inside line so you perform a dive bomb. If you wanna give him what he deserves, a great torpedo will be good (he started this at first)
The guys an a-hole but you kept yielding him space by going wider as he squeezed you on the outside even on the straights. You should have held position which would have forced him into an uncomfortable tighter line going into the next corners and then you could have easily completed your switch backs, overtaking him completely on exits. Seems to me though that this wasn't on your radar because you were too focused on him (though somewhat understandably because he was being as a-hole). Problem was vision in this case. Just as you should be looking at where you want to go and not where you don't want to go when driving around on your own, the same is true with combatants on the track. Focus on them and you detract from your brain seeing the bigger picture of how to get around a-hole obstacles which is all another driver on the track is.....not the a-hole bit (necessarily) but an obstacle to be gotten around (just like corners) with your peripheral vision and your main vision focused much further ahead of where you're at. This was fundamentally a problem of sub-optimal vision here as you are clearly the much faster driver than the obstacle was.
@@kartingtipsno need for a train wreck. The front driver is very easy to predict in his behaviour. With his superior speed he should have take the inside line way earlier
@s4cells4cell7 agree wrecking people because of this breeds poor technique. Karting may not bring severe injury, but as you progress, that mentality will in later racing classes.
This is why if I race karts I need to race karts that have enough power to overcome the limits of the tires. This way driving skill actually comes into play. These karts are simply too slow to make driving skill a major factor when you have someone behaving like this. And if the marshals see you tailgate and push the driver you are viewed as the overly aggressive party because you would have spun the other driver out. The marshals should have been on the lookout for this type of behavior, however we can guess that the marshals in this case are likely Teenagers who have no interest in stopping this passive aggressive behavior.
Next time, briefly slam the brakes when he pushes you off the track. He will eliminate himself because it becomes a PIT maneuvre. The last thing you see of him is when he crosses in front of you while you turn him around. Another way is to use him as a brake, like suggested in other comments. Preferrably on one of his corners.
Wouldnt be surprised to see him driving for Red Bull in a few years. He's obviously been training in their star drivers programme tactics, got some classic early Vettel and current Verstappen moves there.
Why not bump him under braking so he whashes out wide and you are free to go. I go to 6h endurance and have seen the nudge often when someone is trying overly agreasive to defend. But also, never have I seen such an idiot. He runs you wide each time you are beside him.
Watching this really annoyed me. I would have pushed him off the apex into the tyres after the second incident. Why anyone would tolerate this behaviour is beyond me.
Thats not a dirty driver. Thats a psychopathic driver. "Our driver unfortunately failed to prepare the overtaking maneuver better. There was a corner where he could have overtaken him despite that, but he always went to the inside before, only to have to go to the outside and be at a disadvantage. There he would have had to do it the other way around, damn
As a gocarter myself you respect the inexperienced and allow them to drive this guy well I would have jack knifed then made sure I didint use my brakes round the last 2 corners to drift straight into the bully, no sense of racing guilty just wanted to deliberately stopped you from going past, I wish I was there
EASY fix for this problem, first thing you do is wait for him to get out of his kart, then, you use your helmet as a hammer and swing it into his face several times until he stops twitching.
I am a very experienced karter. 10 yrs club racing and that guy wouldn't have bothered me because I would have been past him and long gone. However if Id been run wide like that by someone there is a way past them. Instead of trying to go either side of them just stay behind them for the hairpin or slow corner and when they brake just keep your foot in and punt them into the barriers . You kind of set yourself up to be honest trying to go round the outside.

@@JustinLT212 Oh i'm in agreement, it's just the application of said "bump" that I'm looking at. A nice push deep into the next corner would leave him stranded on the turf... a nice place to be for a prick of a driver..lol
I would just put myself in position for him to do his dick move would cause him to PIT himself, ir at least spin enough to get away from the troll
I face the same thing. Success attracts haters but the player's gonna play 😅
It is worth gold that you added Kimi's radio messages and sometimes this driving remembers me to Jeddah, imagining 2021 Toto smashin his headphone and stewards busy with investigating everything what happened between the title contenders.
I thought it was Kimi...
Where were the marshalls? That lad was just completely deliberate in running the cam driver off the track.
It's a dick move, but if the marshalls allow it, it's allowed. So I would just stop whining and do the same to him: Take the inside line and force him off the track.
@@AudunWangeni agree with doing the same to him but it isnt allowed. Hence why he was banned
Damm, if I were your friend here I’d forget where the breaks are and the kart would mysteriously bump him into the side walls
Wow you have some good patience for that😂😂😂that guy would have got t boned at the hairpin if that was me😂😂
What I do in such siutations, is slow down so it takes more laps cathing up with him again.
I would've blacklisted myself at this point. There's no way this guy would be leaving the track without a proper beating.
You had all the chances to get your get back and more! I wouldn't have let him pass me again!
Take the inside line and force him off😂
that's a broken jaw for the driver that's `defending`
He keeps sweeping you even though you're on the outside. Brake a little earlier, that way if he does try to sweep you off your line, his rear quarter will catch your front making him spin!
Exactly
100%
Bro think he's Max Verstappen
Soo many easy chances to overtake!🤣
That guy would get his head caved in at the end of that race
You get one "mistake", after that you're free to fire the blue turtle shell and wreck him. Also you're free to beat the piss out of him after the race.
3:08 Damn, he almost killed you. Luckily you can avoided the collision. Great reaction, mate.
I was infuriated for you!
Like seriously he would of definitely been in hospital that night if that was me.
my heart rate went 150 bpm just by watching, congrats to your friend staying that calm
He does it 2 or 3 times I'm punting him to the shadow realm.
The agro forcing off track is analogous to a boxer kneeing their opponent in the groin.
The honest urge to pry of the wheel barriers, tap his back tie Chick Hicks style and watch him spin out and hit a wall is insanely huge rn
what baffles me is how he managed to loose his lead after stopping you in the uphill of the indoor kart track
I thought this kind of bully racer only exists in video game, but here i am seeing it in real life
“Spin him out”
It seems like he's using the strategy of occupie the inside line in every turn so he can push you out and gain that advantage. Try to run into that inside line so you perform a dive bomb. If you wanna give him what he deserves, a great torpedo will be good (he started this at first)
The guy with the camera tries to the outside of the curves, so he will never manage to overtake, his mind is locked on the other guy
I would be laughing my azz off if I couldn’t get around him.
He would have ended up with a broken jaw after the race!!!
You are way too nice of a driver. I would have spun him out after his 3rd attempt to push me out of a corner.
The fact he bumped you as well is not acceptable I would have fought him after the session finished
That's racing , an you lost ,you wanted his line and he didn't give it up.
I laughing throughout the entirety of this video. Thank you, I need those laughs 🤣🤣🤣
the driver is way more level headed than i would of been if it was me that guys in a wall
I agree. The POV driver was my friend. He should have been more aggressive! If I was driving, I would have train wrecked after the first incident 😂
@s4cells4cell7 If it was me I would bump him on one of the braking zones
This is why if I race karts I need to race karts that have enough power to overcome the limits of the tires. This way driving skill actually comes into play.
These karts are simply too slow to make driving skill a major factor when you have someone behaving like this. And if the marshals see you tailgate and push the driver you are viewed as the overly aggressive party because you would have spun the other driver out.
The marshals should have been on the lookout for this type of behavior, however we can guess that the marshals in this case are likely Teenagers who have no interest in stopping this passive aggressive behavior.
1:09 was like max vs Lewis in Brazil 2021. 😂
This actually pisses me off so much its amazing that your friend kept his cool, i prob would have sent this guy into the barriers lol
I love how he finally gets past him and he get passed right back
Next time, briefly slam the brakes when he pushes you off the track. He will eliminate himself because it becomes a PIT maneuvre. The last thing you see of him is when he crosses in front of you while you turn him around. Another way is to use him as a brake, like suggested in other comments. Preferrably on one of his corners.
That kind of behaviour would get him pitted into the outside wall if I was driving lol
Should have pit manoeuvered him right by the tire barrier for extra points
As a legend once said, "All the time you have to leave a space." Seems like this guy really doesn't want to follow that advice
2:28 what a dirty move! I would have t-boned him in the next corner!
I agree, should have given him a dose back!
Wouldnt be surprised to see him driving for Red Bull in a few years. He's obviously been training in their star drivers programme tactics, got some classic early Vettel and current Verstappen moves there.
In this cases the “eye for an eye” approach is the best
But then the little ones always cry afterwards and have to run to daddy...
Bro was looking back more than he was forward.
0:50 if i was the pov guy i'd swerve into his kart to spin, your friend is crazy patient i would've lost it right there
Why not bump him under braking so he whashes out wide and you are free to go.
Retitle it...."Im salty this guy is a better driver than me" Get a grip dude, and get outplayed on go karts lol.
As a gocarter myself you respect the inexperienced and allow them to drive this guy well I would have jack knifed then made sure I didint use my brakes round the last 2 corners to drift straight into the bully, no sense of racing guilty just wanted to deliberately stopped you from going past, I wish I was there
There's a point where you just need to move them out of the way and that point happened 30 seconds into the video.
EASY fix for this problem, first thing you do is wait for him to get out of his kart, then, you use your helmet as a hammer and swing it into his face several times until he stops twitching.
BAHAHA
@@doggycatalan Dark... but it would be effective.
He’s got so much awareness that he has it weaponized
Your friend sure has a lot of patience
Looks like overtaking the bully was pointless because he couldn’t even stay ahead of him for 2 seconds
he believes he’s max verstappen 💀
