Although written some 139 years before the first E3, the opening to Charles Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities is arguably the finest summary we could give for the yearly Electronic Entertainment Expo. What we get giddy for are all of the things that go horribly wrong each year. We’ve already filled an entire list with the most cringe-inducing E3 moments from the past quarter-century, but our schadenfreude is still not sated. So join us as we point and laugh at the biggest, most public, most embarrassing presentations from the world’s largest gaming expo. Been watching E3 live every year since 2005. Watching out for the cringe moments has become a yearly tradition.
I always remember the Uncharted 4 demo at E3 2015, when the controller stopped working. That 30 seconds or so seemed like it went on for minutes. And they even put it in the game as a trophy!

Capcoms e3 2021 was the worst thing ive ever seen. 75% Esports and 3 seconds of "Village dlc coming, sometime..."

NBA 2K can be played normally without motion controls. The problem Kobe must of had was with the implementation of motion controls.

An E3 fails video and it doesn't include the Wii Music presentation, Jamie Kennedy on Activision's conference and of course, everyone's favorite, the entire Konami conference from E3 2010?!
I don't know whether to be upset for leaving out those or glad that you picked other entries to change it up.

Guys, if you think THAT was Microsoft’s biggest E3 fail, you ‘failed’ to realize that in that VERY SAME conference, they had the whole “DRM” debacle (can’t share games) That set back Microsoft in the eyes of even die hard fanboys like myself!!

Should have mentioned that the Sega presentation in 1995 led to the death of their console manufacturing business.
This whole presentation is a great example of both wasted potential and executive meddling! In my opinion the pricing wasn't the biggest problem! The main issue was the rushed release (on May instead of September) with games, that were not ready to be released at that time (Virtua Fighter and Daytona USA) and making the retailers angry resulting in them pulling off many Sega products out of their stores! On top of that the advertising of the Saturn was terrible (at least in the West), in Japan they had Segata Sanshiro! And last but not least, the troubled development and cancellation of Sonic X-Treme (a.k.a Saturn's potential killer app), that resulted in one person almost dying due to the extreme stress during development! All of these combined resulted in the failure of the Sega Saturn in the west!

@SCP - 1669 - 45 I ended up googling them and watched a minute of their 'Lipstick' video. It was everything that I hoped for being both hilarious and awful at the same time. A lot of people in the comments said that this was their childhood and it made me feel bad for them.
2016 was best E3. I have never been so hyped for a game in my life.

Xbox went from on top to a laughing stock to a slow climb back on top. Xbox Series X destroys overrated ps5.
While Xbox fans play with themselves over a “coming soon” list of games ps5 owners are actually playing next gen games. Again how is Xbox destroying ? Returnal and Rachet n Clank are amazing games, Xbox still haven’t got a release date for their own launch title Halo .

Honestly, most of that was just okay. Hardly awkward or cringe. And if you think it was, maybe Nintendo isn’t right for you anymore. It happens, no biggie. Honestly, pretty much most of e3 this year was a snoozefest. E3 is just proving that it’s getting more and more irrelevant each year.
