Totally on point!! I published a similar article and seeing your video reaffirmed what I posted ( :
Great video, thanks. I am an overseas graphic designer with a 15 year old career doing logos in my country, so I thought it was about time I expanded. These price ideas shall be useful when negotiating in a near future. Now I wonder if the prices are still the same over in Europe...
Glad it was helpful! As far as prices go, we're in a global marketplace. Pricing comes down to value and how you're positioned!
Great video! Thanks so much.
Very welcome!
so cute.
Helpful too :)
شكراً جزيلا.
Informative! thanks ⭐
No problem!
Sounds about right thanks Jacob. Most I've ever charged is $1500 and these days that seems to be rare. But I do work with a lot of smaller companies and startups. :-) May I ask what kind of Mac you're using these days? and what's your monitor?
I'm using a Benq 32" 4K monitor, PD3200U which I reviewed here: justcreative.com/2017/04/05/benq-32-inch-4k-designer-monitor-pd3200u-review/ - I am using a 2014 MBP 15" with an upgraded SSD, hidden in the draw.
JUST Creative thanks for all that. I have a late 2014 Mac mini which has served me fairly well but recently have been seeing hacks to add on SSD as well for a big performance boost. I wouldn’t be comfortable doing it myself but could hopefully find someone to help me locally. Cheers
@@JaiSequoia Yeah, it's a HUGE boost. Highly recommend doing it. It's easy enough to do, just follow a TH-cam video. 15minutes tops, you just need the right tools. I borrowed some from a computer shop.
@@JUSTCreative thanks so much for the encouragement! I still feel squeamish but at least this way I"d have an idea of the amount of time it should take for someone to do it for me ;-)
I thought I had already subscribed. I am now.
It's about time you started creating content on TH-cam. Mine is about UX design. Hope we can collab one day.
Good luck with your TH-cam journey! :D
@@JUSTCreative thanks 👍
How many logo options should we provide and how many revisions there would be? Thanks in advance.
I personally don't say how many logo concepts or revisions are included in my contracts, but instead work towards the right solution. I often show 3-5 concepts but it depends on the strength of them. I've also shown less or even more too! There is no "right" way.
@@JUSTCreative Thanks
I have one more question. When should we send the project proposal? Do you have any video on how to write effective project proposal? What should include...what not...etc. Thanks.
This depends on the project, but you need to understand what their goals are before putting anything together! The Futur have a great course on putting together the perfect proposal, from what I hear (I haven't personally taken it). Here are are few more of their top courses: justcreative.com/2020/01/22/top-10-best-futur-courses/
@@JUSTCreative Thanks man. Helps a lot.
Just found your channel, keep it up.
bad sound.
Yes, it was my first recording with my camera. I've now got a lapel mic. Thanks for the feedback.
