Actually I had a question, if in the time that you spend in Cairo have ever seen it rain? Must be be quite out of the ordinary. I wonder which water reservoirs are used? Maybe an idea for a next posting. All the best, take care.
Yeah, I guess you're right. The Nile after some processing. You know what, another thought, what about social securities for a working chap. Moderate income, not state related, pension age comes into sight, are there some funds ahead or is it more in the line of everyone for themselves? 🤔
Didn't know they have a subway system. Why I love your content. Always learning something.❤ Tide laundry detergent is almost $15 USD here in Texas. I need to move to Egypt.😏
We have a subway system for over than 30 years. Well it is in Cairo only but it covers almost all the areas in Old Cairo and Downtown so you would find it really convenient
Thanks for this very if not the most important video bc it's about our poor wallet currently hit by the inflation and that's every where in the world but Egypt is apparently hit hardly by inflation 🙌🤓🤓🤓🙌
Yup, Egypt's economy has been hit hard, I've been living here for 2 years and have seen the changes. My father is from Argentina and the economy has also been hit very hard there, inflation is even higher than Egypt's. Egypt's has seen 38% inflation, Argentina 211%
amazing how details the information you provide! Love this! I will stay in an airbnb and cook for my toddler for his snack boxs. Do you know whether the is an elevator in the metro stations?
No there are no elevators in the metro that I have ever seen, but there might be at some stops...? I always ride my motorcycle so I am not in the metro that often.
Thanks for all the great videos on your channel. Friends of mine in Egypt told me that foreigners and egyptians only change money at the black market, where 1 USD equals more than 50 EGP and that the banks only change foreign currencies into EGP but not the other way round, so you cannot get EUR or Dollars for your EGP, which is really bad.
Yeah during off season the prices are definitely better in Egypt, you might be able to find a deal during peak season but it may take some bartering or a bit more searching. You can find many things in India, but quality will certainly come into question. Same in Egypt actually, there's a hostel for $3 a night but I wouldn't recommend it 😆 Thanks man, my bike is great, absolutely loving my new ride 😎
@@Gventures I still can't believe you ride a bike in Cairo, I was scared riding my scooter in Vietnam, but not as scary as in Cairo as in Vietnam and to think I drive an 18 wheeler.

I wouldn't say I'm a sweetheart. But glad you're enjoying my videos, thank you. I prefer living outside of the US because I'm not a big fan of the consumerism culture and divisive topics everyone is always discussing there, it feels like a lot of endless arguments and to be honest I don't care about the half of it. I just feel bored and disinterested there, there's not a lot of active street life like here in Cairo. Here in Egypt I feel the energy, I wake up knowing there is something new to learn, see, experience.
@@Gventures Thank you for taking the time to reply back. As an Egyptian, I can tell you Egypt sadly is becoming a consumerism culture and divisive topics are also rampant among locals. However, since you're a foreigner locals wont expect you to take part in that, which is very good for you LOL. I am an Egyptian but I was actually born and raised in Kuwait. I came to Egypt as an adult, not raised here, and I found it to be completely different to where I was born and raised and to what I am used to. I have a love/hate relationship with Egypt. Egypt is one of those countries where you either love it or hate it, there's no in between. However, I could agree that for the most part Egyptians are among the most genuine and friendly people especially towards foreigners, although the revolution in 2011 changed a lot of their nature and manners. Also, the devaluation of the currency along with the crazy inflation had its toll and made its damage. I am glad you like it here, which baffles me, as I would expect an American would never ever be able to live and cope with such a haphazard country and society, but to each his own I guess! :) I understand that the American society has also changed a lot during the last decade and there are a lot of internal complications within. Anyways I apologize if my reply was too long, lol, I wish you a great and safe stay here in your second home :)
@@mustafamarie8191 Thank you. Yeah I've always felt more at home in other countries, on the road, traveling, I think I just have a nomadic spirit. I've never felt a deep tie to the US and have never missed it, though I am of course VERY grateful I was born there and hold the passport. I know I am not from this culture and there are many things I do not know about Egyptian culture and things I am not involved in, the language barrier is for sure a part of that. But I am very happy here and plan to continue staying in Egypt for many more years to come. I hope you have a beautiful day!
@@Gventures I am glad you like it here, and I hope you all the best in your future endeavors in Egypt! The language barrier can sure be a burden, but you'll get by for sure! I also do have a nomadic spirit, and I relate to what you say about not necessarily feeling at home in one's own home country and society. Sometimes the feeling of belonging is somewhere thousands of miles away! I'll keep on watching your videos! stay safe and keep smiling! :)
Hi, another really informative video, really enjoy all of them arriving in Cairo in cpl days, interesting to see how much prices jave gone up in 12mths. Cheers
Yes, prices going up, but so is the exchange rate on the black market. For anyone with a foreign currency, it's an advantage. For anyone living here, it is of course not. Tough times.

Yeah, I guess you're right. The Nile after some processing. You know what, another thought, what about social securities for a working chap. Moderate income, not state related, pension age comes into sight, are there some funds ahead or is it more in the line of everyone for themselves? 🤔
@@yifatnisan6202 That is a good question that I know nothing about 😅Now I am also wondering
I love your videos, you give the information no one else does!
Thank you Aida! ❤
You make me 💞 love 💖 to visit Cairo
Definitely dear 😘
i am from EGYPT and i love ur video's i live in maadi come and show them maadi and al zmalik and all other old cool city's
Thank you!
Amazing video with lot of information
Great another place to go eat the konafa wowww i love all deserts but this is my favorites ........... thanK's again 😍🤩🥰🥤
Thank You So Much This Makes Me Feel More Comfortable Me And My Husband Is On Our Way!
Straight common sense as always, thank you
amazing how details the information you provide! Love this! I will stay in an airbnb and cook for my toddler for his snack boxs. Do you know whether the is an elevator in the metro stations?
No there are no elevators in the metro that I have ever seen, but there might be at some stops...? I always ride my motorcycle so I am not in the metro that often.
I lived in Egypt for 4 months best experience ever I’ll be defo visiting back. We need more motorcycle journeys 😂
100% man! I am planning more soon. I would love to be riding around all the time 😅And working on improving aspects of them...😎
this is very informative. thank you.planning to go there this April after their Ramadan.
True. Economic crisis happening here
Please suggest if it is a good idea to travel to Egypt during the Ramadan 2024, 2 weeks from now. Thanks in advance.
Already made a video about it! Ramadan is happening now th-cam.com/video/dxxNswyUkbQ/w-d-xo.html

Got a $25 Hotel Room at the pyramids, not bad, got a $11 in India but itched for a month LOL Your videos are cool, How is your new Bike Going?

That's so awesome, I love Cairo so much! I would recommend only staying near the pyramids for a night or two though, if I were you.
I explain why in this video: th-cam.com/video/Il6pZFgyl_I/w-d-xo.html
And in case you haven't seen it, I did make a video about some of the hotels near the pyramids, just so you get an idea of the area and options: th-cam.com/video/XCPDnZxQjv8/w-d-xo.html

ThankYOU :)
Super helpful
You are a sweetheart. Amazing video. I am curious though, what makes you prefer living in Egypt rather than NYC or the USA in general?
Excellent video!
Thank you! 😁
I love this video. I can only guess you must have searched YT yourself before venturing to another country and decided, you, were not going to do it wrong! lol Love your videos. Thank you much
😆 Exactly! I make the videos I wish I would have found on TH-cam about Egypt before I came here 😄 I've always appreciated useful, informational videos on TH-cam, even before I started my channel. My aim now that I have my own channel is to provide the same, while still striving to make them entertaining as well
I will go to cairo at February 3
I will meet you there
