I swear to god Brunson is literally The Knicks’ & sports version of a messiah. He embodies the Knicks and what they’ve needed down to the phucking letter. Patience, poise, professionalism, skill, heart, leadership, sportsmanship, and on top of that being cut from the underdog clothe , which is NY Sports staple. We are always counted out except for the Yankees, no one ever expects us as NY Sport fans to acquire success, gold or happiness, and when we do THE WORLD IS STUNNED. Everyone is just simply stunned with a “bro…NY just won’t the championship…….good for them 🥲” and it’s always built on the backs of guys like him. Quiet, ready, and unafraid to take the competition head on like Jeter, Eli, Piazza, Strawberry, LT, Wright, Gretzky, Bernie, Babe, Ewing, Walt-Clyde, Starks, Willis etc. I love this guy, and he is a legit NY Sports legend in the making.
