11:15 Correction: Garnet’s default design in MultiVersus is actually based on her previous regeneration rather than her current one. Her current regeneration features gold shades that form the top of a star.

Those are a Gurren Lagann reference, specifically to the shades Simon wears during the Anti-Spiral war, which themselves are a reference to Kamia's shades, a sign that Simon has fully settled into the role of leader, whereas Kamia was a natural leader. In Garnet's case it has more to do with Ruby and Sapphire being closer than ever before. Eh who am I kidding, she probably just thinks they look cool. Either way, Garnet was already a natural leader, mentor and mother figure. If anyone needed development in those areas it was Pearl (who _absolutely_ considered herself to not need it at first) and she did get that in the end.

I feel like Bugs and Tom and Jerry have the best possible wardrobe when it comes to costumes, since they’ve worn so many things over the many many years they’ve been around. The devs will never run out of skins with them
Same goes for Batman, Superman, Velma, Shaggy & Wonder Woman.

Multiversus definitely exceeds in costume design than Ultimate. The fact that Ultimate has mostly color swaps while Multiversus puts in literally a unique model set fot each alt says a lot!
Well those are paid skins so they have to be premium since that's the game main source of income
I mean if we’re being technical ultimate does have more variations, but Multiversus is a free to play game. That won’t last very long.
Cham, you are being way too greedy here. There are 726 costumes in Ultimate. There was no way for all of them to be unique models without running out of space in the Switch.

1:26 correction; the alt is actually based the on the 1946 short "Rhapsody Rabbit", not Long Haired Hare.
A few small notes about the Superman skins. The black lantern skin actually isn't the same superman as the base one in the game. It's the superman from earth-2 and you can tell because of the grey streaks in his hair. The other small note is that Prime 1mil is very specifically Prime (One Million) because there was already a Superman Prime (Superboy Prime but grown up) who existed at the time so One Million has his own slightly different designation so you know he is not the same character as the villain Superboy/man Prime.
i think the only reason iron giant has the "superman" skin set as his default, is because he has this whole chemistry going on with the actual superman in the trailer
i suspect they originally didnt plan it, but they made that as a change because it's just charming and also kinda meta-humor, and it's also why the skin without the S costs only 500 gold, which makes it literally the cheapest skin in the game by far, not even costing premium currency

One correction that I would like to make however is the Garnet's design is *not* based on her current regeneration - it is in fact just based on her most recognizable design, coming from S1 E52 'Jail Break' all the way until she was poofed in S5 E27 'Together Alone'
Another correction for Garnet is that the scene of Garnet's first fusion you used comes from 'Steven Universe: The Movie'
And whilst Steven's description wasn't inherently wrong, he was just training Greg, Lars and Sadie (who at this point weren't too important to the story) in order to become strong like Sugilite, the fusion of Garnet and Amethyst.
I can tell you put a lot of work into your videos, and small mistakes like this are just easy enough to be - well, mistakes. You're probably not a fan of all these franchises, and that's alright! You still put a considerable amount of research into all this, and it's cool you're still doing videos like this.
Appreciate the fact check! Steven Universe and Adventure Time were definitely my weakest areas of knowledge for this video since I haven't watched those shows. I did my best to convey the info but figured stuff would slip through the cracks.

A little bit of a tidbit, the name "Task force X" was the name given to them as a way around censorship as they couldn't use "Suicide squad" for the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited tv series.
No way I didn't know LeBron James from multiverse was actually the LeBron James the basketball player from the Lakers that's crazy
I feel like the shaggy beard skin is more directly based on Ryu from Street Fighter. The outfit matches much closer and the beard is likely a reference to the bearded Ryu costume in SF5
It clearly resembles Chuck Norris in Karate gear.
It will be very exciting to see what MultiVersus does with variants for characters already in the game, something that we never saw with Smash Bros.

When Scooby Doo gets revealed he should have Scooby-Dum, Scooby-Dee, Yabba-Doo, Mumsy-Doo & Dada-Doo as character skins it would be nice to see Scooby's forgotten family members remembered and Scrappy would hopefully be a playable character somewhere down the line.

I actually think Riendog Armor comes from Chinese Dynasty armor. it is very reminiscent of the styled armor that is represented by the animated and live action mulans, along the mess of historical inaccuracies of Dynasty warriors. a lot of the armor designs there are from future time periods

I LOVE Harley's design in this. I'm not really a fan of her "street clothes" looks, but this game makes them look great. And the art style is perfect for her, very cartoony.
You forgot a skin for Steven Universe in one of these skins he wears a blue shirt rather than his normal one this is a reference to Steven Universe: The Movie where Steven wears a blue shirt rather than his normal one throughout the film although the MultiVerses one lacks the pink jacket

I think Shaggy's alts also have a double meaning. Shaggy's Chuck Norris skin looks like its combined with Ken from Street Fighter, and his Bruce Lee skin looks like its combined with Johnny Cage from Mortal Kombat

Aaronitmar, I want to know your opinion about a recurring pattern that dictates Smash: Every franchise represented must have at least one game on Nintendo to be represented. And I mean EVERY single one (not including spin-offs since spin-offs are still from the franchise like Dissidia Being represented by Sephiroth counter but being fair game to be represented because Final Fantasy was literally born on Nintendo). This pattern, for example, rules out any franchise that never had a single game on Nintendo like Halo, Shenmue, God of War and so many others. What do you think about that?

You forgot that the sunglasses and shirtless attire of one of Shaggy's alternate costumes might be an homage to Johnny Cage from Mortal Kombat.
