I feel like my favourite random crossover in gaming has to be when Nobunaga's Ambition, a franchise about historical Japanese warlords, had a crossover with Pokémon and resulted in my favourite spinoff of the entire franchise, Pokémon Conquest.
Still holding out for a sequel, remaster, or Pokémon Dynasty. All of these are acceptable but of course ideally we would have all of them

“The Apprentice” was actually from a Star Wars game that had an original story which was pretty cool.
Actually his first appearance was in Soulcalibur IV before The Force Unleashed was released like Roy in Melee.

Yeah, it's also one of the rare games where the Wii version is actually better than the HD console version(s). It's just too bad the sequel sucked (both story and gameplay wise), and then the dangling plot points from that second game were never resolved, although the duology was eventually relegated to Legends continuity anyway.

In the most recent game alone, you can be using Aloy’s bow from Horizon Zero Dawn as Gerald of Rivia, while a someone else is dressed up as Leon S Kennedy with Dante’s devil sword who is also performing hadokens on the Behemoth from Final Fantasy as you get supported by two cats armed with megabusters
Horent Car should definitely be added in Smash.

I like how there's no mention of DreamMix TV World Fighters that had Solid Snake, Bomberman, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Tyson from Beyblade, Simon Belmont, a character from Bloody Roar a few more but it was region locked though

9:54 In a sense, Bean being in the game could also be seen as Dynamite Dux representation considering Bean was designed based on that game, he's basically a recolor of Bin and Pin (who are pallet swaps of each other though one wears a necktie and the other wears a bowtie while Bean wears a scarf). Apparently Bean's alternate costume in Megamix is literally Bin too.

There are so many crazy but amazing crossovers out there. You missed out mentioning the Project X Zone game, whuch includes several characters each from Namco, Sega, And Capcom, with PXZ2 also including Nintendo characters from the Fire Emblem and Xenoblade games.

“The Mortal Kombat series” because they added characters from Other games, Horror Movies, Movies and comics like Cranos in MK9, The Horror Movies villains in MKX and MK9 and Spawn, Terminator, Joker (DC), Robo-Cop, Rambo and Klassic MK Movie characters in MK11

I felt like this video was a nice step up in effort and quality and I really liked it. Good job! I enjoyed the spiderman skit too, I think it was pulled off well.

There's also "Nicktoons MLB," which of course was a crossover between various Nicktoons and real Major League Baseball players. It looks a little awkward, but it's also arguably the best baseball game on the Wii, although this is mainly due to lack of quality competition (and Wii Sports Baseball being only a 3-inning tech demo with automatic fielding and baserunning).

The funny thing Aaron is that for Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed, they also almost had Hatsune Miku and Bayonetta in the game.
Some Non-Smash Crossovers like to mention:
Samus and R.O.B appear in Kirby’s Dreamland 3 at the end of certain levels
Mario, Link, and Yoshi appear in DKC2 as Cranky’s Videogame Heroes as well as Sonic’s Shoes and Earthworm Jim’s Blaster.
Donkey Kong is a secret opponent in Punch Out for the Wii.

Crossovers are my favorite thing ever. It combines stuff I didn't even know was a possibility. For example, the earliest one I remember was back in the day when Jimmy Neutron and Timmy Turner had a crossover special and it blew my mind as a kid.
I'm glad I knew about all these crazy crossovers and that more people are talking about them. I made a big list over the summer that included all of these and these few shown are only the tip of the iceberg of craziness. Trust me there are some hidden gems out there.

Lego Dimensions had some amazing crossovers.
Mortal Kombat is also known for inviting guest characters since MK9 with Freddy Krueger (Spawn is also DLC for MK11)
One of the biggest crossover series in recent years is Mortal Kombat as they have crossed over with a ton of R rated movie and comic book characters.
MK 9 has Freddy Kruger from Nightmare on Elm Street and Kratos from God of War.
MK 10 has a Xenomorph from Alien, Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the Predator.
MK 11 has The Joker from DC Comics, Spawn, a Terminator, Robocop and Rambo.
Also Scorpion, Sub Zero and Raiden all have appeared in the Injustice games (along with Hellboy and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles who are other comic book characters).
Also MK vs DC was a thing.
The Nintendo versions of Sega All-Stars Racing should've gone for Cap. Falcon instead of Mario. It may have actually worked out differently.
