I'm a simple man. I see "X's & O's Snag" and the dopamine dump kicks in. Love it.

I loved the comment about the quick out. It’s about the same yardage possibility as a hitch but with more danger.

x's and o's series is my favorite
even as a first year amateur QB im Europe doing it for fun and where the playbook is pathetic simple and without real concepts, this series is helpfull
i can do some changes in the playbook myself so that the playbook gets more "professional"
    Keep doing Passing Concepts
    Thanks a Lot!

My favorite concept in quick game...the snag...great inside out concept vs the flat defender!

I will never stop marvelling at the complexity and number of plays the QB (and the offense) has to memorise)

Easy way to read it and is to look at Cornerback while taking drop. He drops deep (cov3/ 4) go flat to spot/ snag. He runs in man with snag ( cov1/2man) corner to flat. He flat zone drops (cov2) corner to snag. Basically whatever he does you go 1 to 2 off the other 2 wrs. This is a big staple in the run n shoot and air raid.
JT you mentioned never throwing it but man to man on snag route gives you a bunch of grass to throw the corner and is an easy read. If safety is presnap outside the corner route have a signal for corner post. Great adjustment nearing redzone.

Gotta admit I really like: {Trio} Far Trouble Rt Flop B-Right ‘Cut’ Scat 322 Y-Spot
    Forgive my terminology.
Still have a very similar concept in my playbook today (Spot/Snag, Spot/Out aka Hank) that is unbeatable when the QB reads it right.

JT-Love the channel and info! The designation for Far is for the RB being in side car and away from the Strength (Y). Near is side car and same side as Y. Home is behind QB (or Base, etc.)

If you’re Rothlisberger in the Super Bowl, you throw the corner to Holmes on z snag!😜

Hey JT! Just recently found this channel and have been watching your videos since then. You are killing it, keep up the great work (please)! 😊 I'm a QB for a flag team in Cologne, Germany, but also trying to level-up my football IQ in general, since all I know about the game is pretty much self-taught (you probably remember football being a fringe sports in Germany). Love your content and it helps me sooo much!!!
Question(s): What does it mean that you can "alert" a route? (For example @ 2:30-2:40 in the video) And does it change the order of the reads for the QB? Have been seeing this "ALERT" in almost every of your Xs & Os-videos (amazing series btw.). I guess, it's not the same as Brady calling ALERT at the LOS as this would be killing the first play called in the huddle, right?
    All the best from Germany,
    Dan

@@TheQBSchool I hoped you'd make a vid about it. 😁 I'd also really appreciate videos about proper footwork... All the different drops with the nuances (hitch, shuffle... what does it mean?), which drops are tied to what kind of routes (or vice-versa), when to be under center and when not and how does it affect the dropback; proper stance for a QB after the dropback & before the throw, are there different speeds in dropbacks, ...
I would really love learning it from a pro like you! Any chance you'll teach us that, too? 😃

On Madden, I tend to swap to play action, but I read the play backwards. I look at TE first.

If they rotate down from a 2 high shell it becomes MOFC. Oppo from 1 high.

That power pass I remember in high school as the fullback I had great hands quarterback was horrible so I caught a lot of balls every time he called it he wants to me he didn't throw anybody else because it's right there and I sold it well but it is almost always open might not be for much you might get it all but there is very few excuses for that not being a completion one of the few routes I can actually comment on because fullback we only got a couple even when they knew it was coming to me because it's the only pass we threw they still could not stop the completion it might be able to hinder gains but completions imagine a professional like yourself like Tom Brady he loves to dump off to his running backs you guys must love that route because if it goes hot and whoever's in that position pays even remote attention they will know it's coming and it's open like 7-Eleven it's always open it might not look good it might not get you everything you need but they're open just late power pass the flat is open if you sell it right because they think it's power you cut on motherfuker enough times he is going to hesitate when he sees you charging little fake cut that you're going down continue on open every time even for a non route running football player I was there to Smash and Crash not Flash and Dash yet it's open 24/7 imagine if you had somebody who could Flash and dash imagine if you were professional he'd be picking up the cash because 24/7 always open like DeAndre Hopkins or Rob Gronkowski even when they're covered a good quarterback will put it we're only they can catch it because their catch radius is enormous and in Gronkowski's case he is enormous with hopefully still has enormous catch radius even when they're closed they're open right sir if I'm running a go and the Defenders on my inside shoulder you can drop it in the Bucket over my outside shoulder there's only one person that can catch that and that's the receiver but you got to have hands and catch radius that is ridiculous what's a huge amount of trust in you're quarterback
